Hey guys, we've been following you all for about 3 years now and love your videos. We've even camped in your footsteps on some of our trips based on your recommendations. Tonight we watched this video and think it was absolutely epic, the hike, the horses, the chicken dinner and Owen's singing stole the show. I have to say we were thoroughly entertained throughout the entire video. You both inspire us in the way you look out for each other, love one another, plan your trips and activities and also how maggie is involved. Keep them videos coming guys. BAZINGA! We enjoy watching your travels, started watching when we were planning a trip from Mass to Florida and were researching state parks...starting with St Andrews. The serenades are always a nice surprise....were you in a band before? I started out as as a machinist and retired as a CNC programmer in 2023. But since I was a teenager I played in bands, I play keyboards. I retired from that on New Years Eve, a few weeks before everything shut down with covid. If you are ever passing thru Massachusetts and need a place to camp for a bit, we live in Western Mass, and have plenty of room. A few times each year we have campouts with our friends, usually Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day weekends and have 4 to 6 campers in the yard. Keep up the great work! Dave and Cher
Owen has played in several bands since high school. Later in life he played as a one man band, playing drums with his feet, guitar, harmonica and singing… it was a show.
Beautiful views! The ponies were beautiful too! That little rust color baby horse reminded me of another rust color baby horse that got the zoomies on the trail. I was watching John & Amy a few yrs ago. They were filming the beautiful view from inside their tent & all you could see was a rust colored flash fly by their tent & then it would flash across the front of it again. They were rolling. They came outside and saw that precious baby horse zooming everywhere. It was the cutest thing ever! Great video! Don’t think this one is going to flop! ❤

I'm soooo glad that you're taking us along with you. I'm no longer able-bodied to do any kind of trail. My absolute favorite thing in the world was early morning hikes. Wheelchairs and trails very seldom make a great combination. Your video hikes give me the ability to to see the things I've been missing for almost 2 years. It's been a tough row but with practice I might get the ability to roll with it. Keep up the great work ya'll !!!!! Happy trails and safe travels to you and Maggie too!

Will definitely be trying the Bang Bang Chicken (or sub with Shrimp) and the breakfast tortilla seemed like it would make a great dessert, as well as a yummy breakfast. BAZINGA!!! I did this hike in 2018. Got off the AT on my way back somehow and added an extra 2 miles!! The ponies are obviously the highlight of this hike!! I also enjoyed taking a long break on top of one of those boulders. That is a beautiful location to camp.

Horses can sense a good natured person like dogs can and they showed no concern at all. Not sure if you have this in your packs or not but if not please add a ace bandage and disposable ice pack in case of a twisted ankle. Your food looked delicious and enjoyed your campfire singing. We always enjoy traveling with you guys. We stayed at our first Virginia state park this summer and were really impressed. We used to hike a lot on the Georgia portion of the AT. We raised our daughter out there hiking, and backpacking. That was a long time ago. You were definitely prepared; you never know what might happen. You gotta love those views.

BAZINGA!!! I did this hike in 2018. Got off the AT on my way back somehow and added an extra 2 miles!! The ponies are obviously the highlight of this hike!! I also enjoyed taking a long break on top of one of those boulders. That is a beautiful location to camp.
It would be an awesome place to camp on the trail. I hate when we make mistakes that adds miles to a hike but sometimes they are a blessing too.

Baking!! Hey guys, 5 stars 🌟 loved this video, awesome content thru out. My favorite part was watching the colts follow you down the path. Horses can sense a good natured person like dogs can and they showed no concern at all. Not sure if you have this in your packs or not but if not please add a ace bandage and disposable ice pack in case of a twisted ankle. Your food looked delicious and enjoyed your campfire singing. We always enjoy traveling with you guys. We stayed at our first Virginia state park this summer and were really impressed. We used to hike a lot on the Georgia portion of the AT. We raised our daughter out there hiking, and backpacking. That was a long time ago. You were definitely prepared; you never know what might happen. You gotta love those views.
