That bracelet was the most Genius gift she could have given. It is a perfect representation of their bond.
You can't forget the secret wingman throughout all of this, the Chadette Iofi who urged Moona to do her best at trying to be friends with Pekora because she liked her so much.
Iofi is really a treasure.

PekoMoon is legendary. and Pekora's character development after their multiple minecraft collabs is insane. she slowly accepted collabs and even started inviting others for collabs as well. Usada Kensetsu's shenanigans were very funny as well. too bad they already lost Rushia and Kaichou :(

the fact PekoMoon really contribute a lot in pekora and moona character development is amazing, the sad thing is a lot new holo watcher come to moona stream back in the day just to spread hate about PekoMoon, like moona just leeching pekora for view yada yada. result ?? both of them kind of revert like in back then, not interact a lot with other holo member. i watch pekora even before interact with moona, back then pekora really like to solo everything and if you look as today kind of lonely. even she said after pekomoon happen, doing something with other feel more fun rather than doing it by herself

A clip of the "rapisrazuri give me!!!" moment is what brought me into the rabbithole in the first place. PekoMoona is still my favorite duo in Hololive.
First of all, before joing Pekora's construction company, Moona was already with Aqua's construction company. However, Pekora made Moona choose between the companies. She picked Pekora's of course.
Secondly, there was a moment before they did the official collab where they talked verbally to each other for the first time, Moona went to Iofi's chat one stream as she was nervous of asking Pekora to do the collab. Iofi comforted Moona and a few days later, they did the collab. They even did streams before it to learn basic English/Japanese from chat. The collab became a much watched event complete with cameos from Botan and Polka. One of the most memorable streams I've ever watched!

Easily one of the best arcs in Hololive.
Pekomoon was the miracle the vtuber community unexpectedly needed. These two really shattered the language/culture barrier between two nations, and I remember that it was since then that the three branches started to really intensify their interaction between members from different branches
For me the three language interactions between the three branches of hololive is something that truly makes the holo brand (live and stars alike) unique and difficult to replicate by any other vtuber agency. I never thought of it much before, but looking back... I just can't help but pay my upmost respect to gen 1 of Holo ID and Pekora, because looking back, it's great how Iofi and Risu also supported Moona's attempts to befriend Pekora in any way they could

for sure, it is one of the most entertaining and most awaited combination on hololive.
I'd add that even Hololive itself acknowledges the friendship between these two. The Hololive Medley video has Moona dressed as Pekora, singing Pekora's "PEKORANDOMBRAIN" and they make a point of showing the lapis lazuli bracelet appearing as if it was a new part of Pekora's outfit.

They're the first duo that actually break the barrier between branch despite of language barrier. There is a ton of other holo member are inspired by there relationship. I start to see cross branch relation that seem closer then this two but this two will always be special for hololive community.

They really made for each other , i kinda has theory that moona were created specially to break pekora barrier , by using the famous Rabbit On The Moon legend .
I think one of the underrated butterfly effects of Moona and Pekora's friendship is Moona eventually taking what she learned and making the ID server as good in MC as it is. Ollie and the others became prolific builders and grinders, eventually trickling down into Kaela's ascent into Minecraft God level, which then seeped into the EN members through Bijou.
They are a very good example of just trying something you really want to do, even if you're sure it's going to lead nowhere. You never know what destiny has for you.
Rabbits are associated with the moon in many asian myths so them becoming friends was either extreme coincidence or fate.

Ngl that bracelet is probably the most perfect gift ever given in history. I literally cannot even fathom something more meaningful. Did she have that custom made cause there's no way something so perfect just happened to exist and she happened to find it.
I would argue that PekoMoon is one of the most beloved duos on the internet. At least as pertains to vtubers.
The only other that I know that might come close is Connor/Mouse and that's overwhelmingly because Connor, for all his flaws, also has a ton of charisma. I'd still put PekoMoon above.
