She appears to have gone through: Poverty, constant moving, MANY injuries, parental negligence, and multiple deaths of loved ones. And let's not forget Ame's INSANE supportiveness of her friends. No one is as supportive as her - girl built a VR studio and has used it more to help others than she has for herself. She is just so full of love.
All the talents deserve love, but it's not every day when you hear a story where a talent that owes as much to a company as the company owes to a particular person. Without the pandemic, we probably wouldn't be introduced to wonderful talents like Ame here.

Ame carried the torch that was first started with Kiryuu Coco. Coco told them to not hold themselves back, and do what they wanted. She thought outside of the box and made things better for her gen-mates and everyone else in Holo-EN. Ame is still working hard to bring new things
Hololive definetly saved her life I knew and watched her before she became Ame and at one point she basically became homeless and unemployeed had to go back to her parent's home and just stream there. There were weeks she couldn't stream cause when her brother return home her room is shared with her brother. She's definetly the type that you even if you notice her situation is depressing she still is very energetic during streams.
It still brings me joy to see Amelia Watson's name in the credits of a Hololive English project. Ame was instrumental to so much of Hololive English's success.

Like she doesn't have strong musical background like Calli or Kiara or Gura, but man is she the glue that binds the EN together and one helluva creative powerhouse? It's fitting she is the only truly human of the models. Seemingly nothing special, but man did she prove she is ALL special.
This is but a small list of the things Ame pioneered in Hololive. One of the biggest trends she started was those hand/arm pngs; she wasn't the first one (Korone and Nene goofed off with doodle pngs before Ame) but Ame, unlike them, played around with arms that look graphically consistent with her Live2D, and that's how the trend started and spread. Everyone praise Coco for creating a global market, Fubuki becoming the icon of Hololive, Amelia is also a pillar of Hololive she expand what her senpai create and more. Doing something different, exploring new things.
If I remember correctly she with some programmers created or modified software for karaoke purpose, making the "lag" between two (or more party members) almost zero, synchronizing them making them possible to make collab karaoke easily.

many holotalents that was weak in singing at first or hated singing/their own voice, have the most iconic voice and songs, like okayu for example. Another piece of irony; Ame’s karaoke streams are some of my absolute favorites. Because she knows she’s not the best at singing, she doesn’t even bother trying to put up a front about it or make excuses. She just goes in and has fun. I feel like Ame carried the entire HoloEN. She never stopped innovating. A lot of the popular vtuber trends originated with her. She's quite amazing. Cover really struck gold with her.
Ame is one strong girl, and not just because she sleeps with a bat. Ame is strong for being able to move forward after losing someone very dear to her. Ame was down on her luck, yet took the opportunity to apply to Hololive anyway. I can only imagine how over the moon she must have felt to be accepted, to find a new purpose for herself. Ever since Ame got accepted she has been showing her greatest strength being her creative mind. She came up with skits for the girls, like the infamous detective line up which exposed Gura's floaties. Unique ways on showcasing her new outfits, I still fondly remember playing rock paper scissors agains a Yagoo AI or typing "up-up-up" to reveal her outfit with Bubba on her head, Ame is very interactive with us Teammates. Had so many 3D models (smoll Ame, Buffson, Bee-son, the Vr chat 3D models for Kiara's dance studio, just to name a few) before her actual 3D debute at Holofes3 (the pudding song was cute and I can't wait to see Holofes4 tomorrow) and her 3D showcase where she had an actual shoot-out with small Ame. (Speaking of shoot-outs) Ame also does come up with very unique content except just gaming, streaming her love for fire arms during both Thanksgiving and Christmas, taking it on herself to promote the other myth girls for Holofes3 with her Smol adventures. Hiring people to make a Vrchat room and 5 Walfie style models so the myth girls were able to upgrade from celebrating christmas in Minecraft to celebrating both Haloween and Christmas (with the counsil girls) in Vrchat, doing an actual secret Santa together with all 11 of them (I still miss Sana). I also like the Calli and Ame team up with the song Myth or treat, as that song was actually just going to be some BGM, but Calli heard this beat and came up with lyrics, making Myth or Treat a Myth girls original song instead. I love Ame and I can't wait to see what else she's able to come up with.
This explains why Ame is one of the, if not THE sweetest member of Hololive EN, in my opinion. She's incredibly kind and helpful, and we all know that she's the one who helps the new members set up their equipment and fixes their technical issues.
Ame is an amazing content creator who really listens to her fans and community. So much of the fan created memes and content have made their way into not just her streams but all of HoloLive and vtubing in general. Ame was the first VTuber to really embrace Walfies "Smol" models and run with them to create an entire lore universe centered around them. She's always looking for new ways she can use, change or break the conventions of vtubing and streaming in general.
Tbf it's hard for her not to be the first to embrace Walfie's Smol models... since 90% of the gifs/arts that Walfie made were of Ame (Walfie was primarily a Teamate back then). It wasn't going to be Calli or Ina, Walfie barely drew everyone else Also Smol Ame was the one who got memed so hard by the community

When I learned the bit about Ame caring for someone and feeling like she lost her purpose it hit me hard as I can deeply relate. She's quickly became a favorite of mine on top of already enjoying her streams and her schedule generally lining up with mine. It probably doesn't mean too much but I'm just so proud of the work Ame has done and how far she has come. It gives me hope that maybe some day I'll find a purpose as well.

2021 was filled from start to finish with absolutely INCREDIBLE streams and events from Ame. I watched a lot of Ame before, but from her charity stream onward was when I knew I had found my Oshi and I've come to embrace that. Ame Love.

Coco told Ame to carry her legacy and she definitely held true to that. She gave Myth their Smol 3D, started several holiday events in EN like the first Halloween 3D collab and the Christmas collab. Not to mention the EN Myth 3rd Fes debut video.
not to mention those fanmade creations managed to make it to official events, e.g. the official 3D showcase what I love about Holo despite all their weaknesses, the talents are working for their individuality but also for the welfare of the group while the company, to a decent level, are very supportive of the talents while also managing them and guide them to not go too far. Really, I applaud cover to keep improving for these past years and hope they keep getting better.

Ame is a creative powerhouse. She's a proven project lead who could get so many different talents in different fields involved together toward a common goal. Let us not forget she also started the trend for legs on the table.
I agree, Ame (or rather the girl who plays the character), is an exceptional and integral part of Hololive. One thing I'm not happy about though, is that if you watch the live streams of all the Hololive English girls, Ame seems to get the least number of superchats - especially the red, large value ones. Some of the other girls get those red boxes showing large donations throughout their entire stream, but sometimes poor Ame might be lucky to just get one or two after streaming for hours. Ame may have contributed more to Hololive English than all the other girls combined, and I wish it was shown more in the amount she receives in donations.
Hey, maybe it's just because Ame prefers not getting them? She often has SCs off, there were times where management forced her to turn them on (or they manually did it themselves) Nowadays she compromises by only having Stickers on, but people are less likely to send red stickers Ame once said that she could have them off permanently if she wanted to. She just liked streaming and didn't care much about SCs. Plus she probably still makes a ton of money behind the scenes (merch pays much much more than SCs)
I love your channel. I'm not too vested into vtubing but i do love hololive and the holo EN members. This convinced me to settle down with my art supplies and listen to Amelia’s streams. I’ve been lazy when it came to the two I’m subscribed to, and I want to give them a bit of love.
Coco walked so Myth and Amelia could run, and man did she ever! There's so many things Vtubers copied from her and her team. One example, the legs over the table, it's now rare but some people still do it. Amelia (and her collaborators) for a solid 2 years pushed for so many things and got so many people to stand out in the artist/rigging community.
Creative freedom, being able to design whatever they want. Same reason why Kanauru has not been hired even if he does so much for Holo already. He still wants to design for VOMS and Nijisanji.
lets be honest here, amelia is in hololive. cause she's the one incharge with finding new talents. just a few months ago, she had to break out fugitives. and then recruited the people tracking them. thats alot of work for our time travelling, dimension hopping and mom pounding gremlin.
The community engagement with EN content has never stopped being fascinating. The good fan content has kept me here in the rabbit hole, even when the mainstream has moved on.
Clips of "Amelia Watson" were the first concrete content of a vtuber that I'd ever seen. It was the start of my trip down the rabbit hole and I can only be so thankful without anything to show for it. Until the day I can give a red superchat to her personally, I will not donate to another streamer, that's a little goal I set up for myself. On top of that, I'm unable to sit and actively watch streams, I simply can't do so while maintaining interest and focus on what's going on. So I couldn't be more sorry since I couldn't do so much as be a consistent viewer. But after seeing and hearing and watching the fruits of her effort and time, I can't help but admire this person so I'd very much like to thank her. She very much reminds me of the saying "The true test of a [wo]man's character is what [s]he does when no one's watching," and she has a tendency to do a whole LOT of good.

This explains why Ame is one of the, if not THE sweetest member of Hololive EN, in my opinion. She's incredibly kind and helpful, and we all know that she's the one who helps the new members set up their equipment and fixes their technical issues.
Ame is an amazing content creator who really listens to her fans and community. So much of the fan created memes and content have made their way into not just her streams but all of HoloLive and vtubing in general. Ame was the first VTuber to really embrace Walfies "Smol" models and run with them to create an entire lore universe centered around them. She's always looking for new ways she can use, change or break the conventions of vtubing and streaming in general.
Tbf it's hard for her not to be the first to embrace Walfie's Smol models... since 90% of the gifs/arts that Walfie made were of Ame (Walfie was primarily a Teamate back then). It wasn't going to be Calli or Ina, Walfie barely drew everyone else
Also Smol Ame was the one who got memed so hard by the community
@@kent_s True- but that's kind of my point. Having Walfie create a Smol design for your VTuber has become a mark of recognition as being a real VTuber. It's an achievement, thanks in large part to Ame.
When I learned the bit about Ame caring for someone and feeling like she lost her purpose it hit me hard as I can deeply relate. She's quickly became a favorite of mine on top of already enjoying her streams and her schedule generally lining up with mine. It probably doesn't mean too much but I'm just so proud of the work Ame has done and how far she has come. It gives me hope that maybe some day I'll find a purpose as well.

2021 was filled from start to finish with absolutely INCREDIBLE streams and events from Ame. I watched a lot of Ame before, but from her charity stream onward was when I knew I had found my Oshi and I've come to embrace that. Ame Love.

what I love about Holo despite all their weaknesses, the talents are working for their individuality but also for the welfare of the group while the company, to a decent level, are very supportive of the talents while also managing them and guide them to not go too far.
Really, I applaud cover to keep improving for these past years and hope they keep getting better.

Ame is a creative powerhouse. She's a proven project lead who could get so many different talents in different fields involved together toward a common goal. Let us not forget she also started the trend for legs on the table.

I agree, Ame (or rather the girl who plays the character), is an exceptional and integral part of Hololive. One thing I'm not happy about though, is that if you watch the live streams of all the Hololive English girls, Ame seems to get the least number of superchats - especially the red, large value ones. Some of the other girls get those red boxes showing large donations throughout their entire stream, but sometimes poor Ame might be lucky to just get one or two after streaming for hours. Ame may have contributed more to Hololive English than all the other girls combined, and I wish it was shown more in the amount she receives in donations.
Hey, maybe it's just because Ame prefers not getting them? She often has SCs off, there were times where management forced her to turn them on (or they manually did it themselves)
Nowadays she compromises by only having Stickers on, but people are less likely to send red stickers
Ame once said that she could have them off permanently if she wanted to. She just liked streaming and didn't care much about SCs. Plus she probably still makes a ton of money behind the scenes (merch pays much much more than SCs)

One example, the legs over the table, it's now rare but some people still do it.

Clips of "Amelia Watson" were the first concrete content of a vtuber that I'd ever seen. It was the start of my trip down the rabbit hole and I can only be so thankful without anything to show for it. Until the day I can give a red superchat to her personally, I will not donate to another streamer, that's a little goal I set up for myself. On top of that, I'm unable to sit and actively watch streams, I simply can't do so while maintaining interest and focus on what's going on. So I couldn't be more sorry since I couldn't do so much as be a consistent viewer. But after seeing and hearing and watching the fruits of her effort and time, I can't help but admire this person so I'd very much like to thank her. She very much reminds me of the saying "The true test of a [wo]man's character is what [s]he does when no one's watching," and she has a tendency to do a whole LOT of good.
