Fitment Industries my first mod was a cold air intake and cat back exhaust, CAI didn’t fit right had to get a grinder to get it in there which left a sharp edge which ended up slicing a hole in my pipe, the exhaust worked out great though
Uhh enkei wheels from you guys and tein coilovers
@Prez Bee gross. LOL
3000w system in my grand marquis, circa 2001 LOL. 1st REAL mods were all at once on my '01 AudiTT- CAI, perf.chip, lowering springs, and recessed grill.
I always thought gels was bald 😅
While everyone is putting these mods to their cart I'm adding them to my wishlist because I need a car first😂
Right there with you 😂
Same
I feel your pain brothers
Ahh same my guy
fr bro
First beginner mods:
Coupons
Savings
Spare vehicle
Ope 😂
Lol true though.
Cars with low suspension: I'm badass
Pot holes: I'ma end this man's career
I find this hilarious 😂
Michigan: This is it guys!
Speed bumps
Speed bumps omg
I have to fix a Upper/Lower Ball Joint, so just decided upgrade plus new stablizers bars, shocks, lowering springs, slotted rotors and pads.
Now, I'm going really have to watch pulling in parking lots & fuckin 😒 speed bumps.
First beginner mods:
A spoon engine with a t66 turbo with NOS, a full exhaust and a motec system
Only if you are running a Civic
Ratel.H Badger or 3
overnight from japan
If only I had 10k for a spoon K20 🙃
@@ChaosDragons211 then your car will decimate all?
Everyone knows the best first car mods are stickers that add 5hp each
Cadeorade 10 fuck you beat me to the joke😂😂
You already know fam!!! I have at least 8 FI stickers on my ride, Who wants the smoke!? 😅😂
And plastic hood vents/scoops
Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait. I thought it was 1,000hp a sticker?
Fitment Industries I need some FI stickers so I can get my Scion TC up to 100hp😂
I didn’t even know Gels had hair 🤔🧐
Suprise! 😂
Gels doesn't have hair...Gels has WAVES
I legit didn't think he had hair either
I legit thought he's bald lol
idk about hair but he one sexy man no homo 😳😤
"Oh cool, another 5 bests video!"
"The pacer test is a-"
"NO, GET ME OUTTA HERE!"
Noooooo stay and watch! 😂😂😂
A super underrated mod imo is lights, like different housings or an hid kit can really make the car look cleaner and more proper
My ten easier and more economical mods to be rolling deep. 1. Clamp on exhaust tip. 2. Roll down window shade. 3. Air freshner inside the car. 4. Ornament on rear view mirror. 5. Limited edition emblem on exterior. 6.custom valve stem caps. 7. License plate trim. 8. Wash your car. 9. Wax your car. 10. Play the ludracris song "roll out"" on your stereo. R😎LL OUT!! R😎LL OUT!!
first mod? Jack stands
I think you forgot to mention the fitment industries sticker
Meat ball man
Lol I see u on Donut media vids
Kweku Mensah 😘😘😘
Im a dude......
🤡😂
Plugs/wires general tune up and charging system first. Then intake/exhaust. After you get it running effectively then you go into wheels, tires and suspension. Also whatever aero you deem necessary for your enjoyment. #BigWangGang
I can deal with that.
What do you mean by "Plugs/wires general tune up and charging system first, do you mind giving more details ?
@@The_Waraba I think he means just maintenance stuff such as the fuel injectors, and hoses, and belts etc. however I’m not positive.
Putting a cat back exhaust on my first car (2015 civic si) for my first mod was one of the most exciting things for me as a young car lover. The addiction has started haha, R.I.P. college funds😂😂
How's the build so far?
1. Coilover suspension. Get static, get low, get good looking.
2. Wheels and tires. Get lighter, get stickier, get hella fitment.
3. Brake upgrade. Pads, fluid and lines are pretty easy.
4. Engine management system. Cobb, OFT, ktuner, hondata, HKS, whatever is the go to for your platform, get it.
4b. If opting out of an engine mods, short shifter install. These are simple and very well worth it for daily drivability.
5. Methanol injection. Super easy install, requires a protune, yields ridiculous power gains that typically exceed the capabilities of full bolt ons. Would recommend Flex Fuel but this can get too complex and expensive on low compression port injected platforms to be a beginner mod. But methanol is pretty basic.
5b. If again opting out of engine mods, get a solid quality catback exhaust.
Notable investments which shouldn’t be considered mods: tint and ceramic coating.
All super easy. Highly recommend choosing the engine management system and meth inject over things like exhausts, or aero nonsense, wings and splitters and headlights or turn lights or tail lights or tacky vortex generators.
No one on earth is changing an engine management system before a simple headlight
I'm flagging this video for gore.
That hat is a part of Gels.
Intake , headers , exhaust , coilovers , and rims
Wheels*
Tires
rims are rims. tires are tires, wheel is them put together
Underrated first mod for any car, old cars especially: HID/LED kit and number plate LEDs. Just make sure, please, that you get the headlights balanced so you aren't blinding everyone
Brakes are a good modification period
Marc McCumber fr, i need new brakes on my g
#1 Plasti Dip
#2 More Plasti Dip
#3 *P L A S T I D I P*
They said best not cheapest and non beneficial. If it doesn't change the performance in some way it's not a mod to me. You call stickers on your windows mods to.
Chase Jones but depending on the sticker you could be adding +5 horsepower
#4 taking off the plastic dip
@@chasejones3456Nigga you drive a shitty ass truck shutup boy
@@chasejones3456 .2g of weight, adding extra grip
Tires tire tires! Nothing has had more of an effect on my ride than tires. It's what got me into cars in the first place! Was blown away by the performance difference in a new set of GOOD tires, and just started checking out other components from there. Used to think you had to buy your way in to a nice car, Ferrari or Honda and nothing in between, and it just wasn't feasible for me. Now I appreciate the tuning and aftermarket additions that I used to hate.
PSA - fit your daily driver with Michelin Crossclimate 2's - I've converted 8 people to them and they've all been blown away! They handle snow as well as a winter tire, are the worlds best in wet conditions, and don't negatively affect performance or road noise too too bad. Shouldn't be near your performance ride, but should be on every daily driver that experiences all 4 seasons imo.
Once I saw the thumbnail, I instantly followed the notification 👀

LETS GOOOO!!!! Welcome to the fam! 😂🙏🏼
Lol!!! Wow i didn’t know you guys would reply!!! I’m a 15 year old that loves cars, I’m saving every penny I get, to (hopefully) get a WRX or a Toyota Supra (even whatever I can get my hands on) in time for when I get my license! I ran into your guys’ channel and I am so blown away and inspired by this beautiful work of art creating something with sheer speed and power from something so essential to daily life. I live in MT (very loose speed limits laws) and I’ve always thought I’ve never really had a passion or hobby but I think I just found it!!! Thank you guys so much and if I ever buy and finish my dream car I’ll see if I can send you guys some pictures and support you guys by getting some wheels, tires, suspension, coil overs, etc. from your site! Thank you Fitment Industries!
Spent 4 hrs doing my breaks on my focus all because i couldn’t get the warped lugnuts off!
Little Tikes is great for a first car, I had a purple one and it was great
Cars with low suspension: im badass
Potholes: your not that guy pal trust me your not that guy
Vehicle:
2005 Honda Civic EX Special Edition. (We all start somewhere)
Color: Fiji Blue
First car mod was K&N Short ram intake, next was a Magnaflow axle back exhaust muffler.
Right now in the works are coilover sleeves and lip/splitter.
Pretty stoked to see how the car is gonna be.
Should've went with a Yonaka exhaust
@@erickabundis7952 The yonaka was abit too quiet for me. The Magnaflow gave me the sound of a N1 without the shity metal clang of the ebay n1s. Low rumble at 2k rpm, and screams all the way to redline and still sounds great with no rasp or terrible drone. (Despite it made for trucks/jeeps its pretty good on a civic)
That backing beat is from the "i turned a bad copypasta into a rap" meme video LMAOOOOOOOOOOO
I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE THINKING IT
I instinctively started rapping it, it might just be my black side and white side working together
Thank fuck someone else noticed it haha. I was half singing along to the start until I realized it wasn't playing ahahaa
Someone had to say it
IDK why but when he said he saw my NFS underground builds, I couldn't stop laughing
I just watched a video on how to make money. Now I know how to waste money on my car the correct way hahaha. Man I love you guys ❤️
Ope sorry about that!!!!
Yes, modifing your suspension makes a big difference. Most of the time it will ruin your traction and comfort in the car. Most of the time it's better to install top strut bars.
Knowledge bomb!!!! 🤯😂
Best first mod is a fluid flush and tune up 😂
Very Good Gels!!! Those are definitely the simplest mods a person can do to get the ride on point! Unfortunately, when I modify I DON'T do it myself work-wise, but I will pay for it to be done the RIGHT way the 1st time! My exhaust, for example, was done front-to-tails, every seam, welded tight! Same with everything else. I need dat paperwork for a reason!
Bought my mustang gt and first modified was corsa extreme axlebacks and bbk Catted xpipe not the loudest but I still like to speak to my neighbors when I start her up 👌🏽
pretty good list. I've done most of this list except for the aero I didn't do much cosmetic stuff on my 370z just keeping her classy but other parts I've done that isn't on this list are front/rear camber arms, front/rear sway bars, motor mounts, transmission mount, a couple other suspension mods, and a Tommy Kaira shift knob lol
Drill holes? 3M Can't hold the whole world?
3M : HA! hold my beer
The best beginner mods:
-fix your car (a slipping clutch, old oils, rust, bad engine, trans, brakes etc...)
-Quality tires (and lighter wheels)
-coilovers
-intake and exhaust, lips and side skirts for the ricing on top
-go to a driving school and learn how to drive your car properly (don't be the Mustang guy)
The first mod i did on my current car was update the Audio system.
Got a new head unit to make the trips to work and overall road trips a lot nicer.
Sad to not see that on the list as it makes daily driving so much better.
Looking to get some better speakers next.
2nd was a good set of tires though, man what a difference. Don't really have a high horsepower beast so not really sure what to do after that, as adding an exhaust or intake on a sub 100 HP car just seems.. wasted
I swear I've watched this five times
I did, exhaust first, then Coilovers, then wheels, now I’m doing body kit
When Gels said exhaust at 1:58 and at the same time the rev that was very fucking cool editing
Our videographers stay killing it
...barber with 30 years experience here... next time ur in tennessee ill hook u up with a good hair cut bro... enjoy yalls videos man, thanx
doing regular service, and upgraded brake pads, then whatever you want/have money leftover. I should know.... currently saving for propper paint-job(original color for know), minor body parts upgrade and new expensive(better than I currently have) tires.
i just got a 350z, great timing F.I!
That 8hr splitter install reminds me of yesterday... splitter and grille took me 5hrs...first time taking the bumper/front end off this car...it'll be much easier from now on. Plus I'm disabled so definitely takes me more time.
Woof.. glad you got it on fam, im sure it looks dope! Have you added your car to our gallery?- Edgar

I took the fitness gram pacer test that was lots of fun. Texas still uses it last time I checked
The beat at the start is the one in the song Mumble Rapper vs Lyricist by Vin Jay
FI there’s plenty of vids like this. Do a vid about mods after the basics it’ll definitely be a more entertaining vid
Where was the cherry bomb?!? 😂😂
Well my dream car already comes with a BIG WANG! Stock so that's one less mod to worry about.
Fitment industries what do you guys think about the swedish atraktor culture or slammed volvo wagons if you dont know what atraktor is it's a kind of car you can drive when you are 15 in sweden look it up
Headers/exhaust manifold
What a great video. Fitness Industries trying to sponsor my 1996 Honda Odyssey and journey into car mods? No? Well I tried...
😂
@@FitmentIndustries Love you guys. :) I'll find a way into the fray of modding one day. Med bills make it hard now but I get my fix watching your videos.
Do a nfs rate
I didnt know Gels voiced the Pacer Test!!
Finally
A video that has given me confidence
Look i know im alone but im gonna put 305 19 45 on the front and 295 19 45 on rear with air suspension on my honda odyssey after i manual swap it first then build a custom wide body kit. Only im done so far is removed 80% of exhaust just the right amount of sounds who knew a mini van would crackle and pop but my god. Between 2-3k the drone is something else
Decals or small vinyl ie banners or trim
What does a new cold air intake do/accomplish?
Recently installed ISR coilovers for my 13’ Genesis coupe after owning it for a year now.. absolutely beautiful, so soon enough I’m gonna need a set of wheels.... I wonder where should I buy em 🤔 lol
I THINK I KNOW JUST THE GUYS WHO CAN HELP! 😂
I just bought a 2013 genesis four days ago. And tips you want to share to a newbie? Thank you very much
Tint would be on my list
Peep that vin jay beat tho👀

That intro unlocked terrible memories
Yooo I Have A Question Guys !!! Can Anyone Tell Me How To Get The Stustustustuuuu Noise ? I Saw A Video On RUclips From A "" Subaru Wrx Sti Ra NBR "" With The Purist Sound I Have EVER Heard In My Entire Life ! I Know For Sure It Is Not From The Bov. But There Isn't Any Clear Answer How To Make That Sound Out There. Thanks In Advance ! 👍😀😱 And Thanks To Fitment Industries For The Amazing Videos . ❤
So cool yow that totally true
Buddy hit that pacer test line tho😹😹
I kinda miss the pacer test. That was always fun.
Lol I actually have a autozone spectre Intake on my 98 civic I already had an exhaust but the intake really woke the car up a bit it’s still slow tho but the difference is there
I also spent 8hrs installing a splitter a couple weeks ago 😂😂
this guy is MUCH more likable than that other dude
keep up the good content gentlemen
First thing I did was a tune. Not so much for HP, but cause drive br wire sucks ass. Even with modern V8's. The tuner device double as a way to monitor engine vitals so I dont need to go buy gauges.
Ive been on tik tok too much. The first song man. "Rawr xd *pounces on you* UwU your so warm" jeez ive seen that video too much
Full video is “I turned a bad copy pasta into a rap”
BIIIIIIIIIIG Facts dude. I'm scared to go on there I let everyone else do it😂
First mods I've bought for my 86, wheels (Artisa ArtFormed Titans) tires, coilovers, Mishimoto Performance CAI (oiled)
You lost money on that intake bud
My 2016 Honda Accord sport is gonna become powerful asf now
Intro hit home 😭🙏🏾
My first is a shift kit on my BRZ
Where's Alex?????😐😐😑😔
He's around stay tuned! He's busy making money moves! 😂🏃🏻♂️
First car mod would be make sure ur car has everything fixed and things that r known to go bad get replaced xD coming from the n54 gang with a P0128 code coming through
I juat recently found your channel and I'm digging the vids and information. New sub right here right now after I've watched a few.

Not the stupid ones on eBay. I meant a Windshield banner, Rear window decal, side doors decal, 10th car mod a tune.
Nice music at
Yoooo that's a nice shirt! I have a similar one 🤣
Nvm the intro ruined my joke
YOU DONT SAY! 😂
Harder... a test that progressively gets harder.
Window tint , window visors, coilovers,wheels/tires 😝😝😝😝😛😁😁
heard that Yama track 💥
Coilovers are a necessity when you always scrap the front bumper durring hard breaking
legends
I got a fitment industries ad on this video...
Be careful you don’t blow the welds on the intake, not double clutch‘n like you should.
I have a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS sedan. I don’t know shit about cars (probably shows through how I named my car) but I’m really trying to learn. I bought it off of Facebook, but I don’t know what all had been done to it so far. I don’t know what it needs to boost its horsepower (which is all I really care about tbh) but what looks cool? What types of performance things can I buy to boost its power to the maximum? I really want to have a sick ride, but I don’t jack shit about cars and it’s hard for me to learn
Every car I had the very first mod was only ways window tint 🤣
whats that beat from when he talks about cold air intake
