Cold air intake!
Fitment Industries coil over sleeves for my 91 civic
a jdm big mirror a cold air intake that i got for 10 $ a monster sticker and bending the plate all of that on a 1992 toyota corolla ae101 wagon
On a 350z im about to buy a nice exhaust for about £1000, some tein coilovers a front lip and a front bash bar then maybe some wheels
1. Wheels
2. Coilovers about 4 weeks later
3. UHP tyres
4. various BU bushings
5. M3 control arms front and back
Looking back i would do coilovers first and directly go with UHP tyres.
Step 1: pull the motor
Step 2: have a baby
Step 3: never finish the swap

No, not this time
Ej20 this time
Step 4: sell to some random kid who's gonna bastardize your baby cause you need something "practical" cause your wife says so
I did exactly that..4 times..full circle..lmao...life!!!!
My case. Buy FD3S, have baby, let FD3S sit in backyard... 5 years now.
First mod should be. Stereo with bluetooth connection.
@@gamewizard390 I did that before and vibration sometimes disconnects the adapter and it ruins listening experience.
That's what my friend do first. Stereo and bluetooth. His final stage of first mods is the rims

You made my day.
Yes!
First mod: maintenance! What’s the point of a car if you can’t drive it? Don’t make the mistake...
Oil and coolant add too much weight, you'll go faster without them, just useless stuff that manufacturers trick you into paying more for
For sure! When you notice a "performance" increase because you changed your oil... some thing wrong yo.

@@jurel6982 nah fam, been proven by trained mechanics that you should run with no fluids and only gas, they even say air in your tires is just unnecessary weight and you should just go with bare rims for ultimate performance
Fr! I bought some new headlights for my e46 and then later found out it needs a transmission fluid and fuel pumps so gg my bank account
First mod would be some eyelashes on your headlights fam 😤😤😤👊

3. Ruf badge
4. RS badge
5. “Modded” license plate
How much extra hp would that be ?
Nah each badge adds at least 25hp
And a performance battery
First Mod on my G35 was the DNA dual exhaust. A lot of people dislike the fitment, but the trick to fitting them is to loosely bolt it in, then have someone hold the exhaust in place while you tighten each joint. Came out perfect for a $230 mod. Next was colored puddle lights on the door panels and them being wired to EL string molded around the vinyl insert for the door panel.
my first MODS were not aesthetic lol, upgraded chargepipe, exhaust/ catless downpipe, DCI, tune and 5th was 7 inch intercooler. But remember kids, MAINTENANCE BEFORE MODS
Travis I learned that with my first 3 cars😂😂

94 Corolla Gang what up lol
Javier Vazquez My dad has a corolla. Oil changes are pretty much the only maintenance he has to do to it. They never break
And corollas are actually really nice looking. Lower it and some semi nice wheels and it will look suprisingly good, underrated
I had bought my first car which was my Corolla when I turned 18 it had been babied by the previous owner everything was well taken care of cracked open the head to change the timing belt the oil was golden nothing was worn past basic wear and tear total steal at only $1000
My first mods were 2 Rockford fosgate 12's and a 800 watt amp and new interior speakers. Soooo I pretty much spent the price of the car on speakers lol... to be a teenager again.
jeez the first car i dove was a 98 corolla, it was bad
My first mod is always tires. Nothing else. Some people don't consider tires as a mod, but I understand the importance of having really good tires
The tire is a part of the wheel
All I need is a car and a license now.
I just got my license reinstated after waiting 7 months for incompetence in Government and IDRP (havent had my license since 2007)....and now that I just bought a car, DMV isnt open because of the coronavirus, it closed the day I got my paper for reinstatement...

This is really subjective. I do my mods based on how I feel about the car I own. Drive it for a while. What do you notice? Drive it with the radio off for a bit, and listen to it. Brake and accelerate hard. What do you notice about the way it starts and stops when you drive hard? How do you feel about these things from a roll? Is there anything that bothers you about the interior that can be changed? Identify the car's subjective flaws and work on them first. Don't let some guy selling wheels on the internet tell you what you need to do to improve your ownership experience - figure it out for yourself.
I listened to my car, it told me it needs a bigger turbo.
@@twobunz6594 W
Well said sir 👏🏽
@Scott Ryman I agree, that's what I did to mine. Started doing things to it that I wanted to be different. I had cloth seats and I wanted leather seats, so I went out and bought a full leather interior. I had an analog radio, so I went and found a factory touchscreen radio. I like a good exhaust note, so I did my research and got an exhaust. Etc etc
"5 mods MOST people do first" should be the new title
My first 5 mods on my 87 Aerostar in 1994...
1. Stereo - Pioneer head unit and 12 disc changer. 2 pioneer 6.5s in the doors and 2 pioneer 6x9s in the rear panels. (We bought it with a sparkomatic radio from K-mart. The pioneer head unit blew the sparkomatic 6x9s)
2. Wheels and tires - Deep Hurricanes with 225/50 tires (roller skates)
3. Bug shield and those giant window guards that cover half the window.
4. A professional green to blue paint job. This was well done, expensive, and beautiful. Worth more than the van... lol.
Ugh... I hit enter...
5. Neon underglow kit.

Used to work at a big brand corporate chain tire and alignment place, I always loved those customers that just got new rims and tires, it was super satisfying to mount tires on brand new rims and putting them on the car and being the first person to see their new fitment on the vehicle. Only issue arose when people would slam their cars to the ground and it would be impossible to drive them onto the scissor lifts lol. My shop foreman one time ripped the whole front end off of a Shelby gt350... yeah that was hard to watch. Guys make sure you thank the people who are working on your slammed cars! I think the most unpopular opinion for first mods especially on your unreliable rusted japanese car would be to buy new bushings lol. Way better driving feel
Mike Rodriguez depending on the condition, that would follow the maintenance before mods rule

I took off just the muffler on my Scion tC and it sounds way better than I thought it would it turned from a Camry sound to a nice v8 sound and the challenger also sounds really good with just the middle mufflers cut out

Could you do a video on wagons? I know it's kinda crazy but I think there is a market out there. For example, I own a '12 Acura TSX Sport Wagon and plan on doing some tinkering to the car. I already have Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 and plan on lowering the car a bit, aftermarket sway bars, drilled and slotted rotors, brake pads, etc. I would love to see you guys talk about the different kinds of wagons from Audi & BMW to Volkswagen Acura and Volvo and the different mods you can do to them.

Im in the same boat! Have 2 b5.5 passat wagons and a 3 series wagon as well!
You can do the same mods to a wagon as any other car. Only difference is that the wagon will look better.
Just a quick mention on your pilot sports: the A/S version has way less grip than the (now discontinued) PS 3's and less again than the PS 4's. If you can swap them out... do it sooner than later. Unless you're using them as winter tires I suppose. Have fun with your tinkering :)

My first mods to the Porsche 924 race car were, 1- roll cage and seats with 6 point harnesses, 2- new custom paint job, 3- new wheels and semi slick track tires, 4- suspension fixing and a good baseline track setup, 5- light engine mods (240cams, 105 octane avgas conversion, air filter, and new exhaust)
