Suspension. I never noticed how much effect it has on everything performance. My suspension has been slowly getting worse, especially since I started making more power last year. My car would slowly squat more and more. Didn't think too much of it. Idk if its really a "mod" but I will say it 2 million times. Tint tint tint tint tint tint. You can never hide a shitty tint job. I put one on my first car, big mistake. Just bite the bullet and get it done right with good quality tint.
@@ruikazane5123 Can't stress this enough! No point slapping a turbo or even just sending it to redline, ever, without building the integrity of the engine first. Like what he said earlier. Use your common sense and do what you need not want so there won't be problems. And you've waste all your money on a body kit. Then you got a engine problem. That's when you never get to drive your car because it's broken.

Lastly, and in my opinion most importantly...if performance is your final goal, buy the best tires you can. Taking your stock rubbers off and replacing them with Michelin Pilot Super Sports or whatever will likely equate to better acceleration, improved handling, improved braking, & better steering input and response. The real Alex from Fitment Industries is speaking to my souls right now! Yea forza h4 hasn't got me covered lol. No mk5 r32 lol. I actually did that stuff with forza :D I found my car by accident. So i decided to complete the rest of the game with it. And now i + - know how i want it to look in real life.
Always do research first! There is no rush. I’ve rushed into modding my past cars within a few months of owning them and lucked out for the most part. However I do regret jumping the gun when I could have waited and saved for better quality parts.
I'm saving up for suspension, wheels, breaks, and aero kits for my s2k... I'm looking forward to purchasing those items from you guy especially Suspension and Wheels, hope you guy could get me the size I need.
I'm buying some of the finish parts, even though I'm only halfway thru my build. I want to see those parts installed is the goal, it keeps you pushing thru the obstacles you encounter during the build.
My method has always been the same. Repairs, tint, audio, cat delete, tune, coils, align, wheels/tires, align again and corner balance, lips/diffusers, detail, list, lose 10k, repeat.
My next project is gonna be an 86/BRZ/FRS build. My intentions for the build is very conservative, as I intend to daily the car. So, pretty chill coilover system with barely half an inch drop. 18X8 square setup wheels, keep the OE wheels to slap winters on them (am Canadian). Intake and exhaust swap. Tune. Strut braces front and rear. Master Cylinder brace. That's about it. Much more reasonable than the last project I had, and subsequently abandoned. It was a '97 F350 crew cab long box 4X4 with a 460 that has fueling issues. My plan was to rip out the fuel injection system, and swap in a 4 barrel carb with an inline fuel pump. Yeah, never happened.
I like a balanced car. I like that combination of handling and power. I've only driven a few 500+ hp cars in my life (not mine) so I do have that experience under my drivers belt now. And if I could afford it I would definitely buy a 911 gt3. Since I can't, I've been looking at getting a BRZ. They are sharp looking, handle well and plenty of mods to install. This leads into the topic at hand. Knowing your build. My focus would be street/track, as much I like the wide body I wouldn't want to cut into my fender just for a look. Though the BRZ lacks usable power in late models, here's to hoping the 2022 BRZ is worth the wait.
Literally bought a 1999 SAAB 9-3 as a project car and it's been a love-hate trying to get it on the road, and then I see the clip of the one smoking in the video. Needless to say I nearly flipped aha.
I have three ideas im undecided on right now: 1. 2JZ in a Dodge Challenger 2. Muderdededed AF 1965 Lincoln Continental 3. 350z(ish-370, g35, g37) build. Maybe a v8, maybe not. idk what it'd look like. But they're cheap and I like them

Dude not a single game I can play has a z31 in it and being able to design your car on a website or game helps so much! I’m to the point I might just try drawing it
One thing you missed, Dont rush your build 9 times out of 10 ull stuff something up and its always good to take your time and make sure every detail is perfect or ull be pulling parts, tranys and engines out trying to fix that one thing you rushed to get onto the car but didnt research fully
Did this exactly with my sound system 😂 rushed it for the first time but really just wanted to see how it’d turn out and now I know what to do, not to do, look for etc. sometimes you might have to fuck up so you can learn how to do it the best way next time vs maybe just doing it okay the first time and not messing it up.
For any new builder imma guve you a step by step on what to do. Step 1: buy a cheap starter car like a 350z or a honda but its up to you Step 2: do every maintenance you can think of on the car, will give you way less prombles and gives you your original HP, wear and tear tend to decrease your HP by a lot. Step 3: set a budget, 5k-10k is what you should aim for could include buying the car but the mid tier to higher tier mods tend to be over $800+ but its worth it. Step 4: tune your car or it will explode. Also you HAVE to take it easy so ur new parts get use to the new parts Step 5: after finishing the build HAVE FUN but please focus on track racing instead of the street there's people that would be heart broken if they find out you injured or killed someone, if you dont wanna die think about others other then that HAVE FUN!!!
I sometimes see cars with new rims, tires, and lug nuts but with those regular rubber long valve stems. Shoulda installed some aftermarket stubby valve stems before the tires were mounted.
Big wang and fender flares are the new tribal tats. They think they are unique and bad-ass, but so many people are doing this it become unoriginal and cheesy.
Is there a RIGHT way to build a car? Other than not ricing it, I think any other way works! There is no right/wrong way to build it. Er, maybe other than rice.
My usual niche is firearms i have a wonderful time putting my weapons together and I'm proud with my final result But a friend talked me into doing a car... I decided i want to do a 1940s dodge... From scratch cause I can't afford a fixer upper... Now begins the 6 year long search for everything i need to make this...
I’m building a doo doo Sentra 2.9s cuz I’ll either crash it or blow it (I doubt I’d crash it) but it’s my first build so I just stripped it and making a sleeper. So far so good it didn’t get gapped a Audi 2.5t from 20-100 we were neck and neck so don’t sleep on the Sentras 😂
Fitment Industries so I’m gonna spend good money on seats and a wheel and of course and I’ll come to you guys for wheels and suspension, but what’s some brands I should go for/avoid when it comes to performance that won’t break my wallet?
Well I crashed my 2011 mustang v6 alot now, and I'm replacing the rear brakes , upgrading the front suspension and then maybe a borla attak exhaust because I want it to be louder ...
So I just purchased a 2019 Acura ILX. I think the car has great potential but only if done right, is there anyone from Fitment Industries that can help me get started? What’s the firssst thing I should do?
BilligerentPeanut so I actually did do that lol. Idk why but that doesn’t feel like a mod cause everyone can tint their car not everyone can lower it, have the rims changed etc. I got 30% done all around since my car is gray it looks darker than what it is. I just don’t know what to do next lol suspension?
Allphonetips Yeah I wouldn’t consider that a mod either lol just the first easiest thing you can do to make a noticeable difference. Wish I could tell you I’m not particularly into “modding” my car. Just spent about 3k on my sound system tho 🤣 I found this channel bc I don’t know jack shit about cars and need to learn for my own good and for when I put new rims and tires on and figure what Coilovers or lowering springs to use and all that stuff. Hope you figure your build out!
I got a 2019 honda accord sport 1.5t cvt. What I want to do is lower it 2 inches with coilovers( any recommendations?), prl intake/intercooler, power stop Z23 brake kit, and borla exhaust system, and then tune it with ktuner v2. Thats what I want to do first in that order. Bodykits can come later. It looks nice when its lowered amyways.
Always build the car for yourself because the feeling of all the things you want coming together cannot be matched if you were building it for the gram
Rathei yes the 86 in the pic is mine and to tell you the truth I love the car. Sure it’s slow and in a straight line but the car really shines in curves and turns. The car was built for autocross and track days in mind. With modifications if just makes it even better. The argument of the car should have a turbo from the factory kills what makes the platform so interesting. Which ever one you choose (BRZ/FR-S/86) all of them are amazing, but if you care about straight line speed this car is where it falls flat on its face. The car was meant for driving pleasure and with a huge community which is one of the reasons why I got one. Plus it’s been my dream car since I was 16 and I’m 21 now 😂
Celvin Lopez yeah I don’t care about straight line speed very much. I work at Toyota so I’ll probably pick up the 86. Besides I love how the front bumper looks on the 86 over the brz
Rathei go for it man, take it out for a test drive and see if it’s something you can see yourself owning, and I prefer the kouki 86 bumper over the rest too
I always have a hard time doing stuff to my car I got an invidia mid pipe and some tail lights so far on my is350 but I just the way I was brought up it’s hard for me to spend higher dollars for quality parts and I have so many things planned but it’s just internally hard for me to do it idk maybe I’m just weird

that intro is hotter than the wildfires here in alberta. hoo lee fowk
Interesting comparison 😂
Love this vidz! You are my bro gels
I see we made it in here 👀🔥
I like to watch this video once a week to get myself through it without recklessly spending all my money on my car
1. repair and maintain.
2. plan and maintain
3. upgrade and maintain
4. enjoy and maintain
5. maintain
Can’t wait to start building this 5.0 🤫
For any new builder imma guve you a step by step on what to do.
Step 1: buy a cheap starter car like a 350z or a honda but its up to you
Step 2: do every maintenance you can think of on the car, will give you way less prombles and gives you your original HP, wear and tear tend to decrease your HP by a lot.
Step 3: set a budget, 5k-10k is what you should aim for could include buying the car but the mid tier to higher tier mods tend to be over $800+ but its worth it.
Step 4: tune your car or it will explode. Also you HAVE to take it easy so ur new parts get use to the new parts
Step 5: after finishing the build HAVE FUN but please focus on track racing instead of the street there's people that would be heart broken if they find out you injured or killed someone, if you dont wanna die think about others other then that HAVE FUN!!!
The first 3 minutes of the video describe my first ever build haha
I sometimes see cars with new rims, tires, and lug nuts but with those regular rubber long valve stems. Shoulda installed some aftermarket stubby valve stems before the tires were mounted.
Attention this is a public service announcement
SLANTY WHEELS AND A BIG WING IS NOT A BUILD
thank you
Add in massive fenders
Big wang and fender flares are the new tribal tats. They think they are unique and bad-ass, but so many people are doing this it become unoriginal and cheesy.
@@raystenzi4031 i will make my car as mad maxy as road legality allows me to xD
Good ted talk
Is there a RIGHT way to build a car? Other than not ricing it, I think any other way works! There is no right/wrong way to build it. Er, maybe other than rice.
My usual niche is firearms i have a wonderful time putting my weapons together and I'm proud with my final result
But a friend talked me into doing a car... I decided i want to do a 1940s dodge... From scratch cause I can't afford a fixer upper... Now begins the 6 year long search for everything i need to make this...
1st : Buy 100x 10mm sockets!

My car is a reflection of my personality.
That's why it's bone stock 😅
I like how he used my car as an example on that app👌🏽

Too Saucy 🔥👀
Good advice bruv
Nice Video
Im liking the new intro
I’m building a doo doo Sentra 2.9s cuz I’ll either crash it or blow it (I doubt I’d crash it) but it’s my first build so I just stripped it and making a sleeper. So far so good it didn’t get gapped a Audi 2.5t from 20-100 we were neck and neck so don’t sleep on the Sentras 😂
2.5L my mistake
Its okay we still love you 😁😂
Fitment Industries so I’m gonna spend good money on seats and a wheel and of course and I’ll come to you guys for wheels and suspension, but what’s some brands I should go for/avoid when it comes to performance that won’t break my wallet?
Can u plz do a So You Want vid on the INFINITI G37
g37/g35 would be cool
Kept it real ! 💯💯💯
What’s your guys opinions on winter driving a miata in Alberta
lift it and you good
Sheesh if you get as much snow as we do here in Wisconsin I don't know if id advise that! 😅
Fitment Industries we get a fair bit but it’s cleaned pretty regularly and the roads aren’t salted
I wouldn't but it might be fun
I dunno about where you are, but in Red Deer mid winter, that'd be a pretty hard thing to do
What do u think about the axaim 2002. Rear mounted wing. Wide body jdm style?
“Issues apon issues” lol me with my evo😂😂
Him: let’s get straight in to the topic
27 seconds later
Everyone: he finally got in it

FRS’s should be sold on eBay they look like something you would find on the website
Great show ! I have question. I have 2018 G30. I’m planning to buy 20 in front and 21 in back. But what’s the best wide diameter? Thanks
I mod my ride as ghetto as possible. Thats the theme with that car.
Whatever you want to do lol they can’t tell you what your goal or idea for the car is. First things first how about you tint the car lol?
BilligerentPeanut yea lol I’m still going around watching all the Fitment videos to figure out my build haha but good luck to you to
Hey there! Shoot us an email at shop@fitmentindustries.com and we can help you find something, Personally I would go suspension then wheels and tires!
about to pick up a z32 boi
I got a 2019 honda accord sport 1.5t cvt. What I want to do is lower it 2 inches with coilovers( any recommendations?), prl intake/intercooler, power stop Z23 brake kit, and borla exhaust system, and then tune it with ktuner v2. Thats what I want to do first in that order. Bodykits can come later. It looks nice when its lowered amyways.
Always build the car for yourself because the feeling of all the things you want coming together cannot be matched if you were building it for the gram
How do you like the 86 (assuming it’s yours in the profile pic). I drive a focus ST but kinda been eyeing the newer 86’s
Rathei go for it man, take it out for a test drive and see if it’s something you can see yourself owning, and I prefer the kouki 86 bumper over the rest too
I got my VW gti on forza 😂
What videos are yall uploading on the fitment industries garage channel
More informational videos basically!
