    Very good man, I learned a lot from you, thanks to the glock extravagance series, now I only make my skins through blender and guimp for retouching and alpha channel application...well, thanks for everything

      As for your question, this is the format:
      [url=][img][/img][/url]
      In the URL add the target link, and between the [img] tags add the link to your image, from imgur or steam or wherever

    i can't publish because it says " my file is not sized as a power of two (800 x 600 )." Pls help

      The dimensions of your diffuse and Normal maps must be to the power of 2 (1024x1024, 2048x2048, 4096x4096 etc...)

    Hi, i have just one problem
    I created a skin but i can't list on workshop because anything on my Item.text script is bad
    I putting TGA,VTF and all necesarry
    but when check Terms and Conditions and put (I understand) Result me to a error *In Finish File Is Invalid Weapon*
    Who fix this error ?
    I trying editing Items.text file and everything but nothing,Just Continue to show my this Error
    Exact ERROR IS THIS :

      Make sure the "style" value in your items_game.txt is valid. I suggest that you load your skin into the workshop, save your file again and try to submit again

    sir i love your video but there is a problem i have only one tga file so what are the source and normal????

      Sorry for the delay, I was on vacation!
      The normal map defines height in your texture. If you don't know what that is then i suggest that you google "normal maps in graphics" or something because you should have at least a basic understanding of what it is.
      However normal maps are not mandatory. If your skin is a painting for example then your diffuse map is enough

      You're talking about thumbnails? I usually use 1920x1080

      @@viperskins Sorry to hear, Viper. You are very, very talented and deserve it. Perhaps when CS2 is coming they will pay attention on your work.
      Your videos helped me a lot, but currently I recognized one stupid thing! For example, with the AK47, the small black screws or rivets are always black as soon as I upload them to the workbench.
      Everything looks normal on 3Dcoat Modding tool or Photoshop, exactly as designed. The preview image that 3Dcoat Modding tool creates it also looks exactly as designed beforehand. But as soon as I'm in the workbench and do the upload (and do adjust the settings), but still exactly where the screws and rivets are, my design is gone and there the screws and rivets are black which does not fit to the design anymore and looks odd. Do you maybe have solution to this? Thank you in advance!

      Regarding your issue, do you add an alpha channel? If you didn't then check out this video of my skin making tutorial (ruclips.net/video/XToXEa3oSts/видео.html).
      If you did add an alpha channel make sure the black areas have darker values in the alpha channel (But not completely black). Different parts of the weapon wear out at different paces, and some can look totally worn out even in Factory New setting if there is no alpha channel or the values of the alpha channel are too bright

      @@viperskins Welcome ;) Thanks, for swift reply. I saw your video already and I did the alpha channel too, but I guess, there must be a mistake by me. Still I can´t comprehend, and for me it´s very strange why only the black screws/rivets are showing in black color. It doesn´t look wear out, it looks my design is gone at this little parts. If there would be one screw with my design on it, but there is NO screw having my design anymore, all are black. Once I find a solution, I will let you know and then share the final result with you, provided you´re interested to see my final result. Have a good day!! Best!

      @@FrindzzChat Which screws exactly are we talking about? And which skin type are you creating? Custom? Gunsmith? Patina?
      I suggest that you go to csgostash.com/ and check other AKs and see if the same screws are also black there. It might be that those parts are not enabled for painting.
      And yes, if you do find out what's wrong please let me know :)

    Great content! Been super useful. How do you override the Ammo Magazine UVs on some of the weapons? I am doing a UMP-45 skin. And when i upload the UV in workbench it is not showing the Ammo Magazine artwork. Is that also contained in the AO ?? thanks!

      Are you talking about the magazine? Or the ammo? Because the ammo in the UMP is not visible anyway.
      If you're talking about the magazine then it's in the diffuse map just like the rest of the weapon. If you can't see your design then one of the following happened:
      1. You did not include an alpha channel in your diffuse map (Check out the 4th part of my skin tutorial: ruclips.net/video/XToXEa3oSts/видео.html I included the link with the time at which the relevant part starts)
      2. You chose the skin type to be Patina. In that case you need to choose either Custom Pain Job or Gunsmith in the workbench

      @@viperskins Thankyou so much for your speedy reply! .. Thanks you so much, yeah it was to do with the Alpha Channel. The artwork was appearing but it was so worn out from no alpha channel that i could barely see it. All sorted now! 🙏🙏

    @Viper Skins I am having an issue on how to submit, I am using Photoshop only to make a Skin Pattern, and i only have the txt VTF and TGA, I dont have the UV and idk whats is the valve texture, I am using the workbench command in cs to make the skin

      If you already have the TXT, TGA and VTF files then that's all you need. You can either submit in the workbench by loading your skin and clicking on the submit button, or by running the command workshop_publish. Either way you'll be directed to the same view that appears at 04:32 in the video.
      Does this help or did I misunderstand your question?

    If I dont enter all of my bank details will the skin still be public? Like I dont at all expect my skin to get put in the game, but I want people to see it.

    heeyy, thank you for your tutorials they were very helpful, I still have a small question about the workshop, when I want to upload my additional images then they just load infinitely and I can not upload them.... do you know the problem ?

      What format are your images? They should be in jpg format. Also they need to be less than 2MBs large

      What's a tgx?? If you meant tga then you need to create the VTF file from the tga, and then later when you want to submit the skin you need to include the tga file in the submission
