No, I don't like this. YUCK. I was hoping this app would fix what's wrong with 11's Start Menu, meaning it removes RECOMMENDED entirely, allows users to have 6 rows of apps, allows users to create app folders inside of Start Menu, allows users to move the Power Button from the right side to the left, etcetera.
I do like windows 11, I find the start menu ok, thing with me is I like change and look forward to progress, thanks for your videos I enjoy them very much.
The new win 11 start menu has grown on me, no more clutter on my desktop and plenty of room on the taskbar. I have everything pinned and stuff I dont use unpinned. Clean and simple.
I just wish that there was an option to remove the recommended section of the start menu so that more pinned APPS could be put there rather than have to hit the tiny arrow to drop to the other pinned APPS. I don`t want the recommended option at all.
Hello. I just wanted to check what is the correct way to uninstall StartAllBack. I'm telling you this because I had a problem uninstalling it and the taskbar was on the left and unusable. Thanks greetings!
This is great Brian. Right now I am using Open Shell. This program looks Good. I really miss Explorer for Windows 7. Will definitely be checking this out. Cheers.
Why does every one seem to get antsy when things change in a new version of windows? I have seen this from Windows 3.1, 95,98, 98se, NT, etc., I have learned to go with the flow and after using a lot of other operating systems, Windows 11 start is a lot like certain Linux distro's. So far the only issue I have is I have a clear desktop (hide all the icons) and with Windows 10 and below, access these shortcuts through a list from the bottom right of the taskbar (two >>). cannot do that now, but I am just getting used to working around it. This will spread untold joy for IT at work when they migrate from 10 to 11 as it did when they went from Win7 to Win10. Hopefully when this happens I will have retired! I neither like/dislike the new layout. I will just have to get used to it.
The problem is you get used to how X os works and then you update to Y os and they have changed so much you dont know how to do some things anymore. After someone goes through this process many times they might just start immediatly thinking "oh no thats gonna happen again" and get "antsy"
Well Brian I have been using the Open-Shell app for ages using the old Windows 7 style with the old orb too and it doesn't cost anything so will that work on Windows 11 as I haven't upgraded yet -but will do shortly?? I meant to mention too I have been using the TB Translucent feature as well so will this work on Windows 11 too??
As far as I remember, the TranslucentTB app is compatible with the classic taskbar as well of you'd like to use both. I have tested Open-Shell to no longer work on later versions of Windows 11 but I assume they will be working on adding support for it soon.
@@SmilerRyanYT Hello Ryan well I know that the TB is an app in Windows 10 the Open Shell I hope they will sort it out before I upgrade as I reckon it is the best👍
In windows 10 i just pinned all the tiles like documents, control panel, this pc, etc and turned off everything else. It feels just like windows 7 to me. No need for third party software. Hopefully you can do that in windows 11 if i do eventually build a new computer and get windows 11 but that probably won't be until next year.
@Galaxyy That's not exactly a high bar to get over. ! like the look of 11 over 10, but for me at work it's just so much quicker to open what I need from a start menu list than identical icons in a grid. Still can't stand pinned taskbar icons though.
Do you like Windows 11 start Menu? drop us a LIKE 👍
@Britec09 I just use it as it is on my Dell Optiplex 745 Intel Core Duo Dual Core e6600 with DDR2 ram and 80gb hdd and active LEGALLY WITH DSL
Yes it's better than windows 10 start menu...
But some people are still crying because they can't keep up with changes.

When I eventually move to Windows 11 I'll be definitely using this. I've been using StartIsBack on Windows 10 for over 5 years ...
Yeah, good software
Got windows 11 through on update this week. Holding back for a while.
Haven't installed Windows 11 yet but this app for the Start Menu looks like the lick keep up the good work my man
I like the proper windows 11 style.
Than use it

I agree with that start 11 start menu I'm going to check that program out

Yes mate the US is about 1.3 million square kilometres (we use the metric system out here) larger than Australia. Really like your videos😎
Thank You Brian, Fantastic Product.
Our pleasure!
Thanks for another great vid, Brian.
I've been using Start10 but this looks good too - like it may be perfect for my home PC.
Really useful video 👌👍
Thanks a lot

My pleasure!!
Really cool....thanks
Glad you liked it!
i always follow your tutorial
Thanks
I liked the Windows 11 version as standard. Looked good
Not a fan of it

I am having trouble finding stuff in Win11. The transition from Win10 to 11 is not an easy one, Microsoft should of given users more options.
start menu> all apps.
can restore task bar when right click menu like win 10
Very nice indeed !!!!
Many thanks!!
i was using start menu replacement programs since windows 8 came out and it looks like i will be doing that forever...
Yeah, I find them better
Do you happen to know if this software re-instates the "Toolbar" feature that MS dropped in 11 too ?
open shell is free and looks good
Still updated for windows 11?
Ive just bought two laptops and while configuring them kept with 10 and didn’t bother with 11
Waiting for them,to make a Linux Mint start menu theme. 😀
May I know how to enable the transparency in the old context menu?
Start/Settings/Personalisation/Colors/ Transparency Effects
Window start is not smooth and definitely not fast to use. Just bought start is back, sight unseen because anything is better than the standard.
Is it just me who actually likes Windows 11 start menu? You can infact move it to left instead of centre if you like
Thats a pretty nice program, but who even uses the start feature??? I only use it if I right click it and thats it.
Start11 is much better then startallback
i like 11 sorry everyone to themselves
me too
Who wants to pay now for something that will be free later
nope dont like it,why does ms think we want it this way do they ever look at the feedback
I don't find it better.
nostalgic, yes, but it's not better
I don't like this very old start menu! Im not old! 🤮
First
I am always first :)
