Different guns can have different likes for ammo, it's interesting what one will eat, another one wont, which is why its crucial to test the ammo you are gonna carry in your gun and not just look at one video and say "That works" it might not in your own gun.
Great job bro..pretty much put my concerns to sleep on hollow point. I take my apollo 11 to the range tomorrow for first time, and I will use the Federal Champion FMJ 115 g based on your results from the last video. I switched over to Fort Scott TUI from hollow points just to avoid any frustration over the pistol crapping out on hollow points. I will fire a few just in case but fully expect those rounds to solve the problem. But if not I will use the results you have here and run some of those hollw points you used.
Hey thanks, I don't know if you were the guy who asked in the other videos comments for A JHP test, as i am just getting back to doing a massive amount of comment responses today, so if i responded to your comment disregard it, I am glad that this video helped ya with trying to decide on a hollow point to run. Like i said in the video, its up to you to find a round that your pistol likes, and I'm glad that mine ate pretty much everything, I dont consider one brand that jammed (Winchester) to be a failure of the gun honestly, it just didnt like that hollow point, especially because 1911 pattern guns are supposed to be super picky about ammo the fact it ran the other rounds 100% was a complete win!

I didn’t have any problems with the Winchester white box fmj in mine but I noticed it was jamming in yours

I'm picking up my Apollo 11 later this week, curious if you have tried any other mags and if so which worked best?
I have not had a chance to get any other mags than the one it came with, sorry.
