Nice unboxing!!!! I picked the Apollo compact recently as well and let me say it feels and looks good in the hands (pause)!!!! It’s a solid firearm like you say that slide doesn’t move very solid. Like you told me that grip isn’t bad very solid but with the good I only have one bad. I purchased the Elite Black (Black Guns Matters). It has alittle bit of hang up on the disconnect. Ima shot some rounds down range, LFA says give 200 if the cerakote doesn’t break in I’ll send it off to them for a quick fix. Nothing like the prodigy that safety literally broke left side. Both companies have great CS so it is what it is. This is my model of one, others will have different opinions. Still for the price I rather start below a grand then make my personal improvement then to be over a grand going closer to staccato. Not comparing it to staccato but still a good choice!!!
That cerakote definitely has to be worked down. I literally oiled and racked mine over 500 times. Then cleaned it and repeated the racking. Before shooting it the first time. Then at the range after 100 rounds, took it apart, cleaned and oiled it again. No issues after the first 2 or 3 mags.
@@Uncleprepper1 Did you get last round lock back on the duramags? So far with rack testing they work. So I’m hoping you got some good news. I purchased 2 20rds but was sent 1 20rd with a 26rd!!
@@Uncleprepper1put a hundred rounds through my compact yesterday. Measured again and was at 6 lbs . Will mess with the over travel screw and see if that helps. I’m officially a fan of Lfa though. Not a single malfunction. Even ran my 26 round Springfield magazine without issues.
I am grateful to hear that all is well. Please keep me informed about the trigger and the final results. I may have to follow your steps and tinker with my trigger as well.
Congrats on that beautiful gun!!! I ordered one back on Feb 28, still haven’t received mine yet when I called them 2 weeks later they said give them another week or 2 cus they are backed up unfortunately! Did you have a long wait period????? And again congrats on the gun!

This is either new or straight up not true. As recently as 4 months ago the slide stop and safety were MIM. Edit: the post shot show models have NO MIM PARTS My bad.

@rashiedej The slide lock worked most of the time. Sometimes my grip prevents lock back, but I know that it’s my doing.
😂 my wife complained also.I explained to her that I had to do it. Then got kicked out of the living room.

It is surprisingly flat. I’ve since added a magwell and red dot. Looking forward to getting it ported.
Lfa is on the right track. I did measure my compact trigger weight. Was at 7 lbs but I have plans for that issue.
I’ve been thinking about adjusting the trigger. Just a little nervous about doing that. This would be the first on I’ve done.

It took 24 days total. The demand is higher than they expected. Shot Show really drove the orders through the roof.

Yeah, the mim parts were breaking. So they started making machined parts in house. It’s one of the reasons I purchased the firearm.
