He's talking about psychological conflicts. He has no problems because he has no psychological conflicts. Of course, as he himself said, he needs food, clothing and shelter, but he does not make these material needs a psychological problem. Some people have "everything", but are still unhappy: psychological conflicts, which can only be dispelled with self-knowledge, with understanding one's own mind.

@@pleasesave5948 Hi , most of our activities are result driven, when outcome is not as per expectation, we dismayed so the question is can we live with our being constantly not glued to desired results , more so , psychologically.
I did just that...my sister and I took our jackets and walked out of our home after my mother and father died. It has been a rollercoaster ride ever since. But and a beeg but. I fully understand, and it happened countless times with me. The ending of this disappointment is: We have to take full responsibility. @@traudilepse4251When one gives unconditionally it is actually more like them sharing themselves, their true self. I think what the original commenter means is that 'giving' becomes more about a process of demanding things from others. 'Sharing' has an openness to it and there is not attention drawn to events, objects, and capabilities but instead attention can be drawn to the people's own selves and the Life and Love that brings them together, that creates the experience. Its not that you don't care about life, relationships or making a living, Its the metal process he is talking about, When we expect and desire outcomes in our minds, its creates conflict and suffering. We can live creatively without attachment to a certain outcome.
He means that suffering comes from demands, so first step i would say is becoming aware of our constant demands , then gradually they will vanish and some day we might become like him, not demanding anything from anyone nor from life, and his is peace.

You must keep up with your duties, because if you fail with them, how are you supposed to lead a good life? Because of this, many times advice given to monks or people who have renounced family life is not literally applicable to people in charge of a family. However, in this case I think if you have faith in God (or Life, etc.) and you do each day what you need to do (you are not negligent towards your duties), you can live in complete confidence towards what is to come, "not minding what could happen", trusting that whatever it is, God will help you, and even in the worst case you will have done what was possible to you, so you can accept it and offer any pains that you or your family suffer to God.
