So basically mind is quite already.. it is your thoughts, your desires, your likings which are disturbing it. Leave youself behind for a sec take a deep breath and here it is.

The mind is quiet but it can absorb or receive energies from the surroundings. If you are in a negative atmosphere automatically your mind turns into such a negative mode how hardly you try to be positive still negative thoughts generate automatically like anger, doubtful questions, hate such kind of mixed emotions may arise. Humans already lost individuality and humanity long ago .

If you are walking through a crowded shopping centre, and you have to navigate from one end to the other, with people, young and old, walking in all directions.
Are you assessing every person around you?
    Such as -
    This person is good looking.
    This person is a troublemaker.
This person is a different race.
This person isn't looking where they are going.
Or maybe just running over the things you want to buy.
    All this is thinking.
What happens if your intention is simply to find the exit, without bumping into someone?
If you just OBSERVE your necessary physical route.
Does that process of OBSERVATION require thinking?
You have an immediate obstacle and you have to get past it.
    Such as -
OBSERVATION indicates that you have to sidestep this way or that way, it is so simple, it doesn't require thinking does it?
So now - Your INTENTION to move carefully is communicated to the people approaching you - they instinctively understand and are in agreement with you.
You are not flirting, you are not challenging, you are not assessing others.
You are observing and letting the observations be your guide.
    You are awake.
BUT the comfort of familiarity is no longer there.
Because what you are doing is entirely NEW, you have never navigated that actual route before.
If you do assess others, can you just observe this assessment, in the same way that you observe your movement through the crowd?
    Is there thinking in observation?
    IS OBSERVATION TOTAL?
    With no accumulation of knowledge.
There is no knowledge that can help you with the next navigation.
    You don't require more information.
This action doesn't contain the drama of trying to achieve something - so endless thinking is not necessary.
This process is open to everyone, it doesn't require a special faculty.
The mind has to be awake and the body has to be agile.
But the entertained mind has to take a back seat.
The serious and careful mind, doing the navigation, is quiet.
    Edit -
Just as OBSERVATION of your route brings TOTAL resolution.
Similar OBSERVATION of your 'passing problems' also brings TOTAL resolution.
You step immediately in the right direction.
Similarly you know immediately what to do with the passing psychological challenges.
    Being Careful assures this.

Why so much care about all this and why so much of thinking & nomenclature in the name of making oneself quiet? The very simple solution of everything is if one can completely understand that there is nothing yours in this world, you came alone, will be going alone, need not to fear anything, anyone, nor a seeker or a teacher, nor a thinker or observer, may be just a traveller.

Understanding the process of understanding applies to everything that you do, even just remembering to reply to a letter, because remembering what needs doing - - brings order.
This whole process brings order into your life.
      Order removes disturbance.
When you are not disturbed then your mind will be quieter.
When your mind is quiet and you know how to understand then you will not be frightened.
You can observe what is happening RIGHT NOW and know what to do.

What I take from this, and my own personal observations working on myself, that the more aware we become of our contexts and nature, and begin to come aware of our patterns and nature of thought process, the more we are able to distance from them, as they appear like continuous recycling of experiences in various combinations, giving rise to imagination and uncontrolled thinking process at times.
But realizing how long it has been going on, and no existential purpose served with these years of imagination and contemplation, forces one to understand that, are my thoughts really mine at all (or is it what i have seen and heard from outer world and applying my own remixes on?).
This view has made me a little not so appreciative of my thinking process as I once was, and I do find myself in more peaceful state quite frequently. But what to say, the life continues, so does the journey to make ourselves grow and evolve.

Allright, I will not consider him as a teacher however great and very, very extraordinary he is but I always consider him as my own father. May I? @Tripti Mehra similar to how you fall asleep. You don't seek to fall asleep, right? The moment you seek to fall asleep, you can't fall asleep. If you seek something, then you are necessarily stating that you don't have it or that you are not that. So you let sleep happen to you. Now, if it isn't obvious, what Krishnamurti is stating is more complex than sleeping.
If you haven't tried it yet, do the wim hof breathing that you can find on youtube. When wim hof states "10 more left", you do your very best to breathe as hard as possible :) Then you just let yourself "fall asleep" into this lucidity without trying to understand it. Your body understands it and can deal with it, so you let it take care of that, the same your body understands how to fall asleep without your help.
There will be an increase of awareness of your body with this exercise, but only momentarily. What you want to do, is to learn how to become more aware, whether it is your body or your mind. This may include stretching and/or physical exercise, eating like you care about yourself and/or others, always being loving/caring whenever love is in you, and so on. If you think of each of these as activating awareness to some degree, then what you end up with is your whole body's intelligence becoming active at once. Let's say you accidentally fall into cold water, then a part of your body becomes aware, perhaps one you had no idea or had forgotten that you had and that you could be aware of - or you could be threatened be a person with a weapon and your nervous system wakes up. My point is that there is a whole lot to you then just your thoughts and impulses.
Okay, this will be tricky, but the more aware you become, the harder it gets to stop being distracted by your thoughts and impulses. It will be like riding a bicycle never having learned how to do it :) You will keep falling over and over again. But you must keep getting on it, and always trying to be aware of your awareness, as often as possible. The more awareness in your body, and the more it is tamed, the more intelligence you will have to use. Now then, if you, while being very aware, try to just sink into reality, as if falling asleep, you will notice that there is a place or direction where your mind is not used to going. It might even feel nauseating (at first) but also familiar, and alike to falling asleep where your body may jerk suddenly like feeling a bolt of electricity, your body will have a resistance to becoming one with the entirety of your awareness. So you want to sink into this awareness, and not seek it, but just align yourself to it. If you manage to do it, you will feel like you are truly the owner of your body and mind, and if you can be on top of this, then you will find happiness in this state. There's more to this, but if you get this far, then it will happen by itself.
Always pay attention to what your mind is doing on auto-pilot, and whenever you lose control of yourself and go into auto-pilot whether you enter incessant streams of thoughts or go into emotional states. Can't you stop yourself? Isn't that a sign perhaps that you are crazy and perhaps unhealthy? Wouldn't a healthy mind be able to stop all that? :)
I write all of this, but it's hard for me personally to keep this up in a consistent manner because of my current occupation. The more distractions in life, the harder it gets to achieve. A routine that makes you feel good is always an advantage - remove all that which distracts and puts you in auto-pilot if you are serious about this. Once you have had some practice with awareness, you may listen to Krishnamurti again, and perhaps then, you will realize that you recognize that Krishnamurti is trying to say more than what he possible is able to. How do you speak about something that language doesn't allow to be spoken of? Good luck and take care~
Edit: a tip could be to attempt to go vegan. What will happen is that you will enlarge your circle of care to be more than just humans: you will include animals and nature. Another thing that happens is that you gain control of your actions whereas your actions will be consciously aligned with your morals in all possible situations of life rather than fragmented/contradictory. You will then understand all types of opression and violence. A third thing could be that your health will improve during that first and/or second year. Krishnamurti didn't eat animals, and while I don't know if he was vegetarian or vegan, it really doesn't matter because he had appropriated his own morals and not adopted them from the society he was born into.

Krishnamurti one is drawn to him by his interpretation of illusions, that the "ego," the "I" is. What is it that self-chatters always is self-talking to oneself? Ah, ha!!! How does one become present in the now? When one looks at the tree, a mountain , a pond with water lilies, what happens? I will give it two examples.
    1. When one sees a rattlesnake and one nearly steps on it unknowingly, how is the mind working? Are you saying to yourself, "I better move now." Did the mind tell you to do that? Or was it an instinct? No, one moves.
    2. A child is eating cotton candy, and it is all over her mouth and fingers, and in her hair? She is just with that cotton candy totally, There are no likes or dislikes. She is in the moment. The present. ❤️

@@Nobody-sb6gf The "you" is the doer, so a quiet mind can never be forced ro be quiet. So no methods or rituals can do it. It becomes quiet when the searching has stopped.

Very easy, train your mind to be more logical than emotional, train yourself be more emotionally intelligent, there will be naturally much less chaos in your mind.

But I need to debate one point - when seeing of the mountain absorbs you, it can not put away the "me" within. What happens is, with every new attraction put away all the previous attractions temporarily. So a feel of vacuum inside. There is the feeling that the me is put aside. On the other hand not all humans have a "wow" experience with a mountain view - it may be a bird, sunset, beautiful girl, a dance, a magic show, game of cricket and many wow experiences. It is a fact that a new attraction put away all previous attractions & create some kind of vacuum inside. That feeling is everywhere, in every human being. How many wow experiences do we get during a single day. On the other hand, a quite mind is effortless mind. It is like nature, The nature has no effort or authority. It builds on its own. JK is looking at Buddhahood, it is the blossoming of nature inside the human mind. No one can try to achieve that, it is in itself like a flower blossoming.

The answer is to step out of the automatic behaviour, automatic thoughts, as you step out mentally and release emotions the mind feels free.

The word choice is unfortunate. Everything is made of silence, because everything is made of sound, vibration and frequency. But what is sound made of? Silence. Sound is a condensation of silence and sudden release. So our true nature, essence or whatever you want to call it, is silence. You don't have to "make" silence. It is already in you. All you have to do is to find it and dive into it, like in an ocean

The mind never becomes quiet, you just stop identifying it as "me" and, As Consciousness, merely Witness arising phenomena as a non-separate, non-binding modification of the Radiance of Consciousness.
