I like that life’s big questions aren’t a problem they are just a mystery. You don’t have to solve it it’s just a mystery. The fact that it is a mystery keeps you intrigued and keeps you going.
Embrace the mystery. If the mystery wasn’t there then you would top of yourself because you’ll be bored.

The purpose of the universe is to provide a vessel for intelligence to express itself.
The purpose of life is to increase intelligence in the universe.
The purpose of humankind is to discover and deploy technology (the application of knowledge).
The purpose of each individual human life is to serve the betterment of our world.
The purpose of knowledge is to improve the human condition.

      Universal God:
My thought: God is our explanation for the causation of reality.
Since we do exist in our reality and God is our vision for the creation of reality, then God does exist. We just do not have knowledge of the nature of God.
With that said: humans have differing opinions on God. That is a fact. But, that fact does not establish the truth about God. Our beliefs about God should serve to improve lives not cause conflict among humans. So we need to redirect religion to serve the best interest of both God and God's creation.

Everything is subject to the point of view of the beholder. Meaning is fleeting. It is simply created conditionally as it is formulated. If I'm learn to be good at something. Then meaning grows with it. We literally grow meaning into our lives by way of our decisions. What we decide to do as we go along trying to figure out what we are doing

At 86 I think that Tolstoy's impasse was his early happiness at 50. To have everything that he had missed in early age, and conquered in his life toward 50 was his problem. An abyss of life without challenges and possibility of success, a form of living death, that he could not hope to change. He was a living death until the end. The only consolation was found in forgetting himself and thinking about the life of other people, mostly poor people. P.S. We are in reality eternal through the formation and dissolution of our atoms. Life and death in an eternal exchange. The only consolation is the appreciation of the beauty of the world, while we are temporarily alive in our form or any other.

This is very good. I would add that faith in something larger than oneself can also bring a real sense of belonging. Our culture has us believe that we are individuals only. We are by this estranged from not only others but from the world we live in and nature. Faith is not the same as belief. Faith in something larger that oneself does not need the name we give to it; God or what ever. The happiness comes in seeing that our life's quality comes from being in reciprocal relationships with others, giving and receiving and not only considering our own interest.

We (and every other living being) are here simply to live, and ideally pass on our genetic code through procreation - that’s it. In short, “the meaning of life” is life itself; everything else is merely decorative: pleasing to ponder perhaps, but ultimately superfluous to the nature of existence.

  • @SurajAdhikari

    Meaningful life? A fleeting quest,
    Chasing shadows, seeking rest.
Is it ignorance we wear as a cloak,
Laughing at truths with each silly joke?
    Pleasure calls, a siren’s song,
Yet its promises don’t last long.
Moments fade; we’re left to find,
A void that echoes in the mind.
End the silly jokes, break the chain,
Of passive resignation, dulled by pain.
Life’s purpose waits, a higher call,
Beyond the trivial, beyond the small.
In trials faced and paths we trod,
We anchor our hearts with Faith in God.

Ultimately he found faith. It may have worked for him but for many it is not necessarily a philosophy or faith that maintains contentment on life. It is a profound sense of you not attaching yourself to anything or anyone. Just being you. He had money and gave it away. He came from a different perspective it would not be the same for all humans but it worked for him .

When a product no longer serves it’s purpose it’s thrown away, to be replaced by another that actually does what it’s supposed to. So because many of the humans never really tried to understand who created them and why he created them and what he wanted from them as many of them believe that everything just happens by itself not even bothering to understand that nothing changes without action. That when a simple thing like a washing machine can’t neither create itself nor wash without someone actually does an action as this they’d understand pretty well but when looking within themselves or the universes then they think that it’s just there. So Ofcourse it’s no surprise at all why they’d suffer because by you not trying to find out who your creator was and what He wanted from you, you’ve done a massive injustice to yourself so then why do you complain when you’re system starts to backfire against itself

If u question life and don't want to live then question death
There is no reason to live nor a reason to die
Belief is an escape from suffering but acceptance is the solution
So option 1 - eat 5 star do nothing
Option 2 - if life is meaningless create your own meaning ( do whatever you want ) set goals accomplish them and move forward
What is life ? - 0 and 1 at the same time

Christ said a lot of things which believers still can't make come true. John 14:12-14

'I don't know why we are here, but I'm pretty sure that it is not in order to enjoy ourselves.'-Ludwig Wittgenstein. Misery is a constant in the human experience, and humans on discovering that we are at the mercy of a materialist world wish it was not so hence Religions, Ideologies. But these belief systems are the result of human minds, a materialist creation of biology, and I'm afraid that Darwinism still holds true, and religions and other beliefs are merely our imaginations working overtime.
