If i wanted to use as a daily but with airbags is there a way to easily engage and disengage airbags. Like a switch or something. (Im just getting into this please be nice👍)
@@SmokeyDrift I was quoting you LOL just forgot the quotations. Hella funny 😂 anyway, thanks for the tutorial! I'm considering drifting either a 350z or a wild pre 1975 build to be smog exempt, since I live in California
Our local tracks dont allow airbags as most cars drift without a bumper cover on the car which exposes the front airbag sensor. If you hit a large cone or plastic barrier hard enough it will deploy all of your airbags
@@mariovalladares9055 The only thing in this video that wont apply to you is the VDC button. Airbags still need to be deleted as well as the rotor caps, bump stops, and tire rotation
Smokey Drift i don’t know what my 350z is base or track but my 350z has the TCS button but it doesn’t have that yaw sensor box under the center console is there another way to fully delete traction control
man I really hope you go all the way threw with the 350Z tutorial. I think the 350z is making a comeback!
Levi Lucio it most definitely is especially now that they’re selling at an all time low

Me after disabling airbags in my daily drift car: *chuckles I’m in danger*
@Ali Marley nobody cares now shut up bot
I have a base model Z. I got it for 5,000 with 80,000 miles on it. With brembos. Only exterior damage. A little body work and she’s all done
But thank you for this video it helps a lot. I’m 16 and can’t wait till I get my license soon to drive it. AKA drift it;)

I’ve been wanting to start drifting and I’ve been saving for either a 240sx or a z
Good stuff. Wish I had found this channel sooner
No one gonna mention the crack rock in the center console in the beginning 🤣
What? Where?
Idk if it is lol just what it looks like and it's in the begining next to the e brake
@@joeldockery2610 haha i see where your talking about it was a bottle of Cerakote he is a custom gun Cerakoter
Smokey Drift so it was crack?

You would have to plug the 3 yellow plugs in when you want airbags and remove them again when you dont want them
Thank you for the content!
Will I need to replace the blinker fluid
Just a pointer, i would say that an LSD is great, however the VLSD in these cars suck lol.
Hey man, really appreciate the video, but i got a question. If the Z is a base model, does it have the same power (like horsepower)?
Identical yessir
@@SmokeyDrift Alright thanks man
Wish this included how to delete ABS, and enable left foot braking by cutting the one wire
Thats what my other video is for. Thank me later

by remove the vdc and all those airbags, does the brake light still working?
Yes every light works the same it does not affect any lights.
@@SmokeyDrift so if i do that, i can do drift but no stand burnout right?
@@siepenbecks Yes if you want to do a standing burnout find my new video called cutting pin 101

@@claydough18 naw it wasnt but def looks like it 😂😂
What clutch would you recommend for drifting
Action Clutch stage 3 with lightweight flywheel. Its all I run in all of my drift cars
is there traction control always gonna be off, even when on the regular road
Yes
Good shit bro
Why do you need to unplug the airbags for making it a drift car?
Our local tracks dont allow airbags as most cars drift without a bumper cover on the car which exposes the front airbag sensor. If you hit a large cone or plastic barrier hard enough it will deploy all of your airbags
@@SmokeyDrift makes sense.
what year is your 350z
Can I do this to a g35?
What would be better? A welded diff or a LSD?
Welded diff all day long
Lsd
but if ur on a budget then weld it
@@stunxna LSD would be better for daily driving/drifting once in awhile. Welded if its a dedicated drift build
@@SmokeyDrift You'll have more wheel speed and control with an LSD
@@stunxna Not when drifting lol transitions will be impossible
Can u do this to a auto z
You could but it would almost be useless to try and drift an auto
Doesn’t track editions come in leather?
Not always
Why would you weld an lsd differential
You can weld an LSD but wouldnt want to. You swap it to an open diff then weld it.
Why does this Z rust so much?
yewei li can be a number of reasons but most common reason is it was driven on a road that had salt.
It has no rust. Wheel hubs always have surface rust because of the material. But the car is rust free.
Not on base🥺
Some of this still applies but a base saves you alot of work. My personal Z is also a base model
