    Good job on bending the aluminum. The heat shield came out very nice. Just as a cautionary note aluminum can fatigue over time and the vibration from pushing the car could cause cracking at your bend points. Although not super likely it is something to keep in mind and you may want to check it every once in awhile. Keep up the videos your doing a great job!

    Btw, your videos rock, man. Very detailed, but not overly (most videos gloss over vital details all day). Coming from an extremely detail-oriented person (detailing, mechanical, etc.), your videos I've seen are absolutely sufficient to get the job done with confidence. Very motivating as well. Hey Chris I love watching your videos and doing jobs on my moms and my grandmas car. The two vehicles have scratches and little dents in the car, and both cars haven't really been fixed or had any oil changes so as I get older I'm really starting to like cars and I love to work on them not just to work on them but to save money for the whole family. My name is Philip I'm 14 years old I was watching your tool video and I just wanted to ask what is a good company to by from thanks. Philip

    I have a 1980 Yamaha G1 golf cart. I'm trying to make it into a drifter just for fun. It's yellow with black stripes. I don't if this has been attempted yet, but if it hasn't this will be the first properly built drifting golfcart. It has the original 215 CC 2 stroke engine, when I get the money I'm gonna get the engine fully rebuilt or I'll get a bigger engine that makes more power which is what I might do because there aren't many performance parts for my particular golfcart, all I found was a bigger carburetor, light weight clutch, and a loader exhaust that is lighter than stock, all of that won't do much but the clutch will be a big help. It does have a quite long wheel base so I don't think I'll have to worry about flipping over much. I'll try to make a video of the golfcart for you, you'll really like it.

Before I know it, 45 minutes has passed and I'm late for whatever I'm doing. With that said, it was the best 45 minutes of my RUclips life.

    @szarinamusic 5 лет назад

    A lot of people thing “why use thredloker??1” threadlocker helps keep the bolt in place, and it’s kinda important and makes it safe to use. It’s important for drifting too
    also tow hooks are SO USEFUL!!!!!!!!! chris ur car is now really safe because if your in the desert and your car breaks down you can just attach it. Best invention ever.
    The fire extinguisher under the seat is amazing, because one time my brother was on the track and the front caught on fire and so he immediately just took the fire extinguisher out and went to the emergency
    helmets are good because it protects your head, like in a bike. If you get in an accident, without your brain, you could not eat, hold anything, write, speak, basically anything that requires thinking. Drifting is kinda hard and if you get in an accident at 40 mph, you could seriously get hurt.
    This is to express the importance of racing rules, and why you SHOULD follow it. I agree with Chris with no skipping, because it has to pass safety.

    • @crysiscontained4421

      ya if he want to explode the case and buy a complete new diff, in all seriousness dont ever cheap out and weld the diff unless you have the money to keep replacing it case an all just get a decent LSD they are a shit ton cheaper to just rebuild and last a whole lot longer but the roll cage is definitely a must if you are going to be drifting a lot

    • @Imaboss8ball
      @Imaboss8ball 8 лет назад +6

    • @chrisfix
      @chrisfix  8 лет назад +2

      That is how all of the SN95 Mustang owners attach the tow hooks. I thought the same thing but they told me they have been yanked out of the mud and sand with no problems from the front. Unfortunately, there is not frame on the mustang. it is a unibody design. The front unibody isnt thick enough until the engine k-member which is pretty deep into the car and not realistic to tow from.
