Is that her in your profile pic? She's a beauty! What a coincidence that she and Cricket had a similar start in life. I adopted a stray - a _lil' black kitty_ that a co-worker found in a laneway, that kept returning for a few days, meowing loudly. She was tiny, and had a still-born, black kitten one week later. I wept, then buried it in the back yard. Jezebel was with me for 17 years. I've had 4 black cats - and 1 fluffy, white and tabby girl - over 25 years. It's time to adopt a couple, after a few years without any.

I was thinking the same, boys often aren’t let/taught nearly well enough how to be gentle and empathetic. Good on this mom and on her boys for taking time to not only rescue Cricket but check up on her.
Agreed! Mom raised her kids right and helped teach a valuable lesson on empathy and the rewards of seeing things through. Cricket was very lucky and I'm glad she was given the chance to keep her leg. I was so happy to hear her grumping as she woke up. It'slike hearing a baby cry for the first time. Such a relief. And Cricket being up and active 12 hours later. What an amazing little bean. Her lil splotches are so cute.
And cricket needs toys - lots and lots of toys. Chris is going to be soooo busy. 😂😂😂😂 I wonder if he knows he will no longer be master of his domain. 🤣 Good luck Chris. And enjoy your new home cricket. 💖
Any kitten no matter what is more precious than anything in the world. And the fact it was a tuxedo kitten is what hurt my heart, I have a really soft spot for tuxedo cats.
It absolutely breaks my heart to know someone just put her in a box with her toys and left her. I'm sure (or at least i hope) they had the best intentions and hoped someone would find and help her but the odds of that not happening...she just as easily could have died in that box. It's not right. I'm glad she was found and got a new home ❤
I would've hoped that they'd find a pet shelter to give her to but at least she had a blanket and toys. At least there are some things she might find comfort in.
@@eleanorcooke7136 A lot of shelters ask for exorbitant fees upfront to take animals in, so... unfortunately, it isn't a viable option for a lot of people. I suspect that her previous owners saw the injury and figured that there wasn't much they could do since they couldn't afford the surgery and costs of keeping an injured animal, and nor could they afford a shelter. They likely just.. wanted to send her off with some of her toys and other things.
I have a feeling that there were two different people involved, one who cared, but may not have had much power, like a child. And the other, who didn't really value the cat, and didn't see much point in finding a better solution (parent?).
Cricket knew that Chris saved her life and she wasn't about to let him go! She pulled out every cat trick in the book, but she achieved her goal. She got the best dad in the world!
I love this doctor. He is soooo sweet and decent and kind. If only all men were like him. Watching him carry that tiny little kitten into the recovery room just melts my heart.
I love this dr. Too and its keeps growing bc Dr.Chris went and adopted a dog from a shelter last year his name is Buzz! And he stipulated tge dig has to get along with his bossy cat😂❤
I've seen this video a few times and it always brings a smile to my face. That said, I can't understand how anyone could have abandoned Cricket in the first place. Still, she ended up in the best possible home with Dr Chris. I'd love to see how she's doing now.
We have 6 female cats and right now we have 3 Tom’s visiting our farm, lol. It’s a riot. There is a lot of slapping going on. We don’t mind some kittens as the keep the rodent population down and our granddaughter spoils them.
I couldn't stand to be a vet. Either I would be constantly heartbroken for all the patients I couldn't save or I would want to adopt about every stray kitten or puppy I came across.
Seeing her up and sassing a few weeks later is so dang cute and heartwarming. And Chris adopting her is the best! George passing was sad, but I'm glad Chris had room in his big heart for Cricket. Cricket is a very lucky girl in the end. I wish her start hadn't been so rough, but Im glad she found her furever home.
"Do you know how to relax?" I have two 1 year old cats and whenever they're doing Zoomies or getting into trouble (knocking stuff off the counter, getting stuck in an open cupboard while the dishes are getting put away *ugh*) I say the exact same thing to them. This video is beyond adorable and I'm so glad Cricket found a great home!
I have 4, 3 year old huge boys! They have broke every lamp that has been on the end tables running a muck!! Had no clue they were going to get so huge cause we rescued them from outside, mama was small LOL
Our cats adopted what we thought was a stray kitten. Only to wake up one morning with her having kittens. So sad only one survived but with support she is a great mama. Our cats said they couldn’t be the father since both fixed. LOL
Cricket is a very sweet kitten, considering how scary and stressful the whole situation is, and how much pain the she must be in. POOR BABY. I’m so glad she got the best rescue, the best help, the best home, and the best Daddy. ❤ ❤❤
I know, with her "moustache," precious lil' black _toe beans_ and sassy personality - who could resist her? 🐾 I'm glad Chris opened his heart & home to another cat.
I found two kittens abandoned in my backyard in 80 degree Fahrenheit weather and they were less than a month old. They were hot, skinny, lethargic. They’re now a year old and chunky happy kitties!
I love that the vet adopted this cat. Watching this kitten get use to his new home was so cute. Even though the vet kept telling him to stop scratching the furniture and carpet, he said it so patiently and said that his house might not look the same again. That is why I was so lucky when I adopted my cat Lulu from the animal shelter. She is an older cat so she only cost me $25 to adopt, but it was the best decision of my life. I think because she is older, she is mature and has never done anything destructive to my house and is such a mellow cat. People tend to adopt the younger cats, but they should really think about adopting an older cat.
This is what more people need to appreciate about adopting a pet: That little life depends on YOU. It's not a toy. It's a living creature with needs and feelings. It's not something you take in on impulse and get rid of when it's no longer convenient. It's nice to see Yvonne teaching her boys what a huge responsibility having pets is.
Awe, love the family who had such big heart to take the time to take Cricket to this incredible loving veterinarian. So glad that he has adopted Cricket. They were destined to be together forever. ❤❤❤
@BondiVet I knew when you saw her the next day after her operation that you were going to adopt her. I could see the relief on your face and love in your eyes for this precious little kitty girl. She's definitely a trooper, and she's got the cutest little face. I really enjoyed watching this. I love a happy ending. I couldn't see the complete title on my phone at first so I got to watch it and be surprised. LOL
Cricket will keep you busy, but ironically I've really come to believe that things do happen for a reason. I believe she was meant to be your girl. She's already imprinted with you. Thank you Chris. Now it's time for a few cat scratches lol. ❤
Way to go mom. I love this so much. Mama and this incredibly compassionate doctor have taught these young boys the most amazing lessons about being human.
This is beyond cuteness!! She's so chill !! I am owned by a Tuxedo cat! And I've just found a lump on her left front leg. An appt is coming up. Please send cat prayers to Cricket and my Tuxie.
@Joanne Murdock This cat has the skill set of Harry Houdini. The appt had to be rescheduled. And since she goes under the bed, the only place I can't go, she's got the whip hand, so to speak. This Thursday she will be finding herself in the bathroom. Please keep us in your prayers.Thank you so much.

Can we please take a moment and look how much they care about all the animals that they take care of even if sometimes they pass away. Amazing video by the way!❤❤❤ WOW! 200 LIKES!
I showed the videos to my sister and said have you ever seen a Vet kiss someone else’s pet I never had until I watched Bondi Vets. They are awesome ❤❤❤
I think it's important to remember that they are in that profession because they love animals. I think it's probably very hard to not go completely ham on kissing and cuddling a lot of them, but I also think that is just what they do behind close doors. I had a "chief" vet look at one of my bunnies that were sick. He picked her up and started cuddling her and gave her some kisses. I thought it was very cute. After a while when the check was over and he had to take her back to do some investigating, he picked her up, looked at her with adoring eyes and dropped "YOU are mine now, cutie. I will steal you home with me!" and then went out of the room. Even tho it was very clear that he was very infatuated with Nova, I was slightly panicking thinking I would never see her again. She was such a sweetheart. Looked like a small grey and white sheepbunny. Was very relieved that I got her back but it was not without struggle for the vet as he had many "nurses" coming to say goodbye to her. I stood there just looking. Was very sweet and with all of my animals I've never had such an intense show of affection for my animals before by a vet.
Those sweet, scared kitten meows. I was walking my husky a year or so ago and I had headphones in and it was dark out. I noticed Jax perk up and scanned the area with my flashlight…and caught a tiny pair of very scared eyes. I took my headphones out and heard those screams. We tried to get her to follow us home to no avail…but thanks to my awesome neighbors we were able to safely trap her the next day. I named her after my grandma Mildred…she’s the first and only little girl I’ve welcomed into my home and she is the sweetest soul I’ve ever met. When we save them…THEY👏🏻SAVE👏🏻US👏🏻❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
My heart just melted when Chris said "You've been through so much. Don't give up now". 🤗 Thank you for caring and thank you for your commitment and your dedication, Chris. ❤️ I know that Cricket will have an amazing life...and will be spoilt rotten! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I knew he wanted her😂❤❤and so glad he adopted her. She’s in the best hands, with love and everything she could ever hope for. Bless you Chris and Cricket ❤
Chris and Cricket are the purrfect match, but Yvonne and her boys also deserve credit: it's tempting to think they should have adopted Cricket, but Yvonne put head over heart, which is the responsible thing to do. Far too many people adopt pets out of sentimentality when they're not ready for the responsibility. Yvonne and her boys can still be forever proud that they saved Cricket's life 🥰
Something very similar happened to me once when I used to live in the UK. My neighbour knocked my door and she handed me this tiny redhair kitten she found in a box close to our houses. I took him straight to the vet because I could see there was something wrong with it. I came back to check on him and they said to me he had a broken leg and it was dehydrated. After he was good enough to go home a nurse of the vet clinic adopted him and called him Thor! I was so emotional I cried of happiness when they told me😊 He's now 4yo and a very happy kittycat🥰
Cricket is going to have the best life ever with her new dad! 🎉 Her markings are so beautiful! I have a soft spot in my heart for tuxedo kitties and ginger babies! ❤
I had two orange tabby kitties once. As well as a tortie and a mix: blue-gray-cream-tabby-tuxedo. the tortie was the mom of the male orange tabby cat and the sister to the female orange tabby cat. I miss them dearly.
Dr Chris has such a big, soft heart! It’s not unusual, in my experience, for veterinary staff to adopt patients. Especially ones that tug at your heart strings like this. The hospital I worked at was contracted with the city and county animal control, so we saw a lot of sad cases.
I would have taken her in a heartbeat. She's DIVINE. Beautiful nature, gorgeous face. I would have loved to spend the next 20 years with her. I lost my beautiful boy a few days ago, just waiting for his ashes to be returned, and it feels so empty without the pitter patter of little paws around the house.
Cricket is so funny. Couldn’t stop laughing at her antics. Know those little boys really wanted her but I was overjoyed that she is yours. She reminds me of my calico just as feisty. Within one hour of coming home she was up on the dining room chair onto the table while I was washing dishes. Out of the corner of my eye I saw her reaching up to the chandelier. In a nano second she was riding around the light like a carousel. What joy they are. Guess scratch pad and post are next huh?❤
Poor baby! This little kitten was left alone at risk of dehydration and has no food or care. They need our help. You can’t leave a kitten out by itself. That’s horrible! It’s good this kind lady and sons found her.
The previous owners were so absolutely selfish. They dumped the poor SICK kitten under the sun with NO FOOD AND WATER…. Like why not just drop off at a shelter or vet clinic . Some people are just disgusting. THANK YOU TO THE VET❤
What a good mum who brought the kitten in, her boys have learnt love and empathy and I wish all parents taught this to their kids, I feel there would be less cruelty in the world.
A couple passing by my grandson , threw a kitten about this age onto the street without stopping the car... the kitten flew up in the air and fell back into the street . the couple kept going without a second look. My grandson could nt believe what they had done. the kitten was on the street in a daze. My grandson took him home.. They already had a cat so Vincent call me and ask me to help. I went immedidately to get the kitten and brought him to a vet.. He checked him over and he seemed all right . the kitten was treated for fleas and I brought him home.. I still have '''FEARLESS '' to this day and he is the sweetest animal I ever had. At a moment , he seemed to have breathing problems so I brought him to the vet . they took an x ray and we found out that some of his ribs had been broken.,.. He survived this , aflter all that happened. He is now about 9 years old.. and is okay....
How can people abandon animals like that? I'm crying for the ones who are not found. Weeping actually. My baby Dexter was abandoned and I rescued him just in time. I just can't with people like that.
I found a tiny kitten stuck high in a bush, crying. I took him home and rang up the vet who told me to bring him for a check-up. Unlike Chris, he just looked into the carrier and told one of his assistants to give him a quick check up : result was that his tummy hurt and his eyes were runny (probably coryza). I had just "lost" my last dog and wasn't really ready for a new pet. But the way the vet treated little Alfie, or didn't bother to check him out properly, made me mad - I took him home with some food and since then I adopted another young cat - we are now are happy family !!!!

Chris has to be the most wonderful big hearted vet in the world. I wonder how many vets here in the UK would have done the surgery out of kindness and love? I am subscribing now in the hope of following Cricket's beautiful journey through life with the best vet in the world! ❤❤❤
Most vets near me in the uk are just money money money. Heartbreaking as it must often stop people taking their pets or give them up We could definitely do with a Chris over here
What an amazing job he did of mending her wee arm! She was running about at the end there as if it had never ever been an issue. She's going to bring him a lot of smiles over the years, they make a lovely wee family.
I feel like not only did Dr. Chris adopt Cricket (that's such an adorable name btw ;v;), but Cricket also adopted Dr. Chris as her human. This was so sweet and heartwarming ❤
I found a puppy in a shoebox. Her muzzle was shut by a thick rubber band wrapped around it so that she couldn't cry for help. Her muzzle swollen and ruined. it took several expensive operations to make it somewhat normal.
people are so horrible. Like not only do they abandon pets, but they do so in ways where the pet is more than likely going to die. At least let them lose if you cant get them to a shelter ffs
She is adorable., just taking everything in. She must not have been mistreated . She doesn’t seem afraid at all. Goodness, it’s like micro surgery. I’m always so impressed with Veterinarian’s skills. They are Primary care, Orthopedic, Cardiac, etc. So much knowledge is needed. Awesome job, Dr. Bondi. My son and I got a cat when we least expected it. She had been a stray for a year at an apartment building in town. The manager said he was getting rid of all the cats (that didn’t bode well), and winter was coming. So, Nala came to live with us. Pictur8ng this small cat outside in another New England winter was too much. We’ve had her 6 years now. I can’t imagine life without her.
Thanks to Yvonne and her sons for rescuing Cricket. I am glad that Chris has adopted little Cricket who clearly has a zest for life. There will not be a dull moment. She is a little fighter, and I was confident that she would respond well to the surgery and she was not going to give up her life without a fight. I am sure that she will be happy in her new home, she gave a good indication of how happy she was about being adopted by Chris from the very first day she entered his house. Once again, thank you Chris. Live long and prosper little Cricket.

I think that was staged 😛 But I'm sure they determined in some way that he was suitable 😆
It was all staged come on. If dr Chris a competent veterinary and a compassionate human being is not suitable to adopt an animal, then nobody is.

Agreed. This is a great lesson for those boys.
Cricket is absolutely precious, I'm so glad Chris adopted her. 🐾🐱💙
And cricket needs toys - lots and lots of toys. Chris is going to be soooo busy. 😂😂😂😂
I wonder if he knows he will no longer be master of his domain. 🤣 Good luck Chris.
And enjoy your new home cricket. 💖
Any kitten no matter what is more precious than anything in the world. And the fact it was a tuxedo kitten is what hurt my heart, I have a really soft spot for tuxedo cats.
I’ve just watched this again (and again). You’re doomed Chris. 🤣😂🤣😂
Love it. 😼
@@adenlaible7066I have the same soft spot for calicoes
@@digiviceboy really? The shelters in my country are pretty much free.
I have a feeling that there were two different people involved, one who cared, but may not have had much power, like a child. And the other, who didn't really value the cat, and didn't see much point in finding a better solution (parent?).
Well, there you have a cute one who will give you an excuse to buy new sofas, carpets etc In no time...😂
Cricket knew that Chris saved her life and she wasn't about to let him go! She pulled out every cat trick in the book, but she achieved her goal. She got the best dad in the world!
I find it very cute and funny the way Cricket tried to pull out the button on Dr. Chris's shirt and tried to make unnecessary phone calls.😂
Dat jawline too
And good looking. 😁
@@rutabega2039That jawline is one of the world’s great sights…
So many men spend their best energy…trying to look big. Nothing makes them look smaller…
I've seen this video a few times and it always brings a smile to my face. That said, I can't understand how anyone could have abandoned Cricket in the first place. Still, she ended up in the best possible home with Dr Chris. I'd love to see how she's doing now.
Owner clearly didnt want it. Not very hard to understand as this a common way people get rid of cats
@@Feltzy- I know. I've been doing cat rescue for 40 years and why I've got 10 cats, 8 of them rescues.
We have 6 female cats and right now we have 3 Tom’s visiting our farm, lol. It’s a riot. There is a lot of slapping going on. We don’t mind some kittens as the keep the rodent population down and our granddaughter spoils them.
probably the injury and the owners didnt want to pay it, but they at least left her somehwere where someone can find her
I think this may be an old video. I think I heard that Cricket had died.😢
I couldn't stand to be a vet. Either I would be constantly heartbroken for all the patients I couldn't save or I would want to adopt about every stray kitten or puppy I came across.
I had considered becoming a vet tech but I know I couldn't deal with bad owners. I'm just too impulsive to not catch a charge 😅
Kudos to the family for knowing when to say no. It takes a responsible person to know what they can and can't handle.
Shows they will be fantastic pet parents when the time is right for them.
She's a film star! How cute is she.
Sweet kitty from a tragic painful lonely start to going to the best carer and adoptive owner Ever ❤
My boyfriend's cat is about a year old, does the same crazy stuff. Young kitties just can't sit still!
They really can't sit still but you gotta love them anyway! 💙
LOL
I think it’s funny when cats and dogs get the zoomies… I always stop what I’m doing and just watch… it’s funny
Cricket is a very sweet kitten, considering how scary and stressful the whole situation is, and how much pain the she must be in. POOR BABY. I’m so glad she got the best rescue, the best help, the best home, and the best Daddy. ❤ ❤❤
Such a beautiful and kind kitten with a new equally kind and beautiful owner! 💙
I know, with her "moustache," precious lil' black _toe beans_ and sassy personality - who could resist her? 🐾 I'm glad Chris opened his heart & home to another cat.
Her coat is one of the most beautiful I’ve seen, and her eyes match her name perfectly
@@Epic11705 Agreed .
Agreed! Kittens are super cute but older cats are where it’s at
This is what more people need to appreciate about adopting a pet: That little life depends on YOU. It's not a toy. It's a living creature with needs and feelings. It's not something you take in on impulse and get rid of when it's no longer convenient. It's nice to see Yvonne teaching her boys what a huge responsibility having pets is.
OMG, he’s such a hunk and a cat lover. It’s a win, win! Thank you for fixing and adopting Cricket so she can live a full and healthy life! 🥰
Ohhh yess.
he sure is gorgeous I admit and makes me wish I were 40yrs younger!!!
Awe, love the family who had such big heart to take the time to take Cricket to this incredible loving veterinarian. So glad that he has adopted Cricket. They were destined to be together forever. ❤❤❤
It's a match made in heaven 💙
This kitten has hit the jackpot. A great home and a great owner!

A good life lesson for her two boys . Heartwarming compassion.
She was an exceptional parent…those boys will never mistreat a pet.
I don't know Chris, but I would trust him with all of my animals. He's very passionate and kind and I would trust him.
She knew she was at the only home she wanted to be. She could smell his scent throughout the whole house. He is her family ❤
Way to go mom. I love this so much. Mama and this incredibly compassionate doctor have taught these young boys the most amazing lessons about being human.
True, being compassionate to the most vulnerable defines your humanity
This vet guy has it all. Smart, handsome, kind and just overall a nice guy. Glad he adopted Cricket
Abandoning an animal is never the answer. That is why we have shelters.
The way the vet smiled when he said there was another candidate that was keen on adopting the kitten because he knew it was him 🤣 So cute! ❤
This is beyond cuteness!! She's so chill !! I am owned by a Tuxedo cat! And I've just found a lump on her left front leg. An appt is coming up. Please send cat prayers to Cricket and my Tuxie.
I will. I hope your sweet baby is ok.

A proof of a huge heart Chris. You are truly an amazing person
i love that as soon as cricket got home she was just ecstatic, having a vet as a dad is a total win for cricket.
Can we please take a moment and look how much they care about all the animals that they take care of even if sometimes they pass away. Amazing video by the way!❤❤❤
WOW!
I hate to burst people's bubble but they're on cam 😂.
@@MH-df6zx so?

Those sweet, scared kitten meows. I was walking my husky a year or so ago and I had headphones in and it was dark out. I noticed Jax perk up and scanned the area with my flashlight…and caught a tiny pair of very scared eyes. I took my headphones out and heard those screams. We tried to get her to follow us home to no avail…but thanks to my awesome neighbors we were able to safely trap her the next day. I named her after my grandma Mildred…she’s the first and only little girl I’ve welcomed into my home and she is the sweetest soul I’ve ever met. When we save them…THEY👏🏻SAVE👏🏻US👏🏻❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Cricket is not just 'clawing and biting'. She is scenting the place. She played you and God Bless your surgeon skills
Thank you Yvonne and boys for taking her for medical treatment. ❤

She’s in the best hands, with love and everything she could ever hope for. Bless you Chris and Cricket ❤
❤ I'm so happy Chris adopted Cricket, she's so freaking adorable, she's going to love her new home!😍🐱
Yvonne and her boys can still be forever proud that they saved Cricket's life 🥰
This makes me cry all of my cats have strays that were abandoned and she looks like my cat Monkey who sadly passed a few years ago.
This is a real man ❤
It's always fun to see when Bondi adopts one of his patients lol
I got my tuxie from the pound when he was one. He's been with us 12 years so far and living his best life. Love him to bits.
10:01 thank goodness for the blurring of the kittens blood. gore makes me nauseous, but im so glad this kitten got the help it needed
So amazing kids and woman and Chris thank you ❤such an amazing thing to do ❤❤❤😊
Dr Chris has such a big, soft heart!
It’s not unusual, in my experience, for veterinary staff to adopt patients. Especially ones that tug at your heart strings like this. The hospital I worked at was contracted with the city and county animal control, so we saw a lot of sad cases.
It seems to me that Cricket was rewarded for her patience and the pain she suffered early in her life. She could not be in better hands.
Chris really has a heart of gold. What a dream home for Cricket.
Chris is an awesome hero He helps the kitten and keeps her
This my favorite video. Chris Brown is awesome🎉
Chris Brown is an Angle God's sent him down to the earth for all kind of animals ❤
It must feel so nice knowing that you saved her leg and allowed her to be so spunky!
I just love Cricket's story. I never get sick of watching it.

The previous owners were so absolutely selfish. They dumped the poor SICK kitten under the sun with NO FOOD AND WATER…. Like why not just drop off at a shelter or vet clinic . Some people are just disgusting. THANK YOU TO THE VET❤

I find it so adorable for veterinarians to truly care for their patients!
What a good mum who brought the kitten in, her boys have learnt love and empathy and I wish all parents taught this to their kids, I feel there would be less cruelty in the world.
I agree, my philosophy is that practicing kindness and love to animals sets example to do it for people, too.
As a tuxedo cat owner myself, I can emphatically confirm, black and white cats are bold, sassy, and utterly irresistible ❤
After the surgery the way he connects to the little kitty just melts my heart
This vet is a REAL animal-lover...His house must be a mini-zoo ...Just my type of guy
She is such a pretty little kitty and has such a sweet disposition.
I am amazed she remained so calm. The trust she has.
How can people abandon animals like that? I'm crying for the ones who are not found. Weeping actually. My baby Dexter was abandoned and I rescued him just in time. I just can't with people like that.
The ending is so heart warming
I found a tiny kitten stuck high in a bush, crying. I took him home and rang up the vet who told me to bring him for a check-up. Unlike Chris, he just looked into the carrier and told one of his assistants to give him a quick check up : result was that his tummy hurt and his eyes were runny (probably coryza). I had just "lost" my last dog and wasn't really ready for a new pet. But the way the vet treated little Alfie, or didn't bother to check him out properly, made me mad - I took him home with some food and since then I adopted another young cat - we are now are happy family !!!!
BTW, I have since changed vets .......
My gosh! Cricket is so freaking cute!!! No wonder he took the cat home 😊

This is so sad that she was abandoned but out of everyone im glad chris chose to adopt her, i cant think of a better owner😻🥳😊
