I’m a little disappointed that I had to look through the comment section of another video to find out what happened to George the cat so maliciously thrown into the ocean. He was adopted by Dr. Chris and lived for another 3-4 years before dying. So he was adopted by the best person possible. I just wish that tidbit could’ve been included in the actual video compilation. I do hope his original owner faced criminal charges. If she so easily threw him into the ocean, it’s likely she did it before or after this. She has no regard for any living creature.
Bondi Vet is so addictive. I have no tolerance for animal abusers. They should be prosecuted to the fullest extent! If a person is willing to harm an animal, think what they would do to a human. Thank you for helping these animals.
very few people mention the fact that these people begin as children to hurt animals which later leads to harming people and worse. so thanks for mentioning this. keep safe :) 🐶🌷🌿🌼🌱🌷
I live in the USA. I believe that ALL animal meat farms, puppy mills, dog fighting contests and any of those horrendous operations that totally put profit over the welfare of the animals should be illegal, banned forever! High fines, incarceration/jail and banning those who have abused, abandoned any animal should NEVER be allowed to have custody of any animal ever again! There is simply NO excuse for such behavior!
Vickie. Are you on the ARA discord? It sounds like you would make a great animal rights advocate. We talk to Ages 13+ and talk about ethics, philosophy, nutrition, science, etc... Wish you all the best.
I think some meat farms should be allowed so the already starving don’t starve to death, though the animals should be better kept in a clean safe environment. So they can live life to the fullest without cruelty, maybe having more mercy than they would in the wild, instead of being held captive and butchered. That or teaching others how to hunt.
There are ethical farms that produce meat and dairy where the animals are fed high-quality natural food and live in the open air with sunshine as well as freedom with no crowed cages. which is a step in the right direction. I buy my eggs from a local free-range farm for a few dollars more which I am happy to pay
@@denasewell So then there is ethical slavery then right. As long as I treat my slave correctly and they give me the things I like. Then killing them after a few years isn't a problem. (That is what it sounds like from your mouth.)
Whoever hurt Juice is an extremely sick human. I hope they were found and prosecuted. The rescues are so sweet I cannot believe the conditions they were in. Thank God for Scott!!! Amazing vet and human. Big Hugs to you and staff!!!
It happens in the USA too, but those stolen pets wind up in research labs. Almost as horrific as being in the meat trade. Both are inexcusable, and need to be illegal. (Jan Griffiths).
Alternately shocking and tear jerking. We are so lucky that we have them as pets. When is the rest of humanity going to learn that cruelty has to stop in all it's guises. Thanks as always for what you do.
If you aren't vegan. You would still be paying for this sort of cruelty. As a consumer. We have great power with both our personal influence and our dollar. Lots of options these days to be vegan, healthy, and not contribute to this sort of unnecessary death.
I eat meat. Even wild. Deer, squirrel, rabbit. I truly love dogs, I have owned them my entire life and currently share home with 6 of all sizes. @@rebeccaconlon9743 Majority of soy is fed to livestock animals. Cattle ranching destroys the rainforest way more. Farming animals still requires plant farming to feed the animals. Farming animals take up over 65% of all farm land. Gives us 18-20% of our calories.

The fact that Juice allowed complete strangers be near him, pick him up, and touch his face, is amazing. Most dogs, even his age, would growl and bite. Also I'm sure he knew they would help but if he didn't it's still amazing. Cool dog and awesome owners.
I'm a vet tech at a general practice and this just shows me that I could never work at an ER. I lost my breath when Juice started crying, I've never heard a sound like that before. I would be in tears all day. I'm so glad there are people who can do this work at an emergency vet. The good news is, pets with one eye rarely act like they are seriously affected by it.
I went to do work experience in the small animals area of the vets. My saddest moments were when you saw a dog in the clinic, saw them getting treated, saw them going home with their owner and then you see them come back in in a body bag a few days later.
I am sure they are affected by it, they just turn it off to get the job done. I have so much respect for those who work with animals who have undergone trauma. Thank you.
I'm really over my industry and have been seriously considering going back to school for veterinarian medicine. But I've also had to ask myself if I could handle it.

The Korean rescue was so heartbreaking to watch. All the pups were gorgeous and all of them had a spirit to survive and live. I don’t understand at all how someone can do something so heartless and horrendous to these fur babies 🥺
Man if someone attacked my dog like they did juice, I would be bloodthirsty. It’s one thing to rob someone’s home but to assault their pet while you’re at it? Truly awful people.
It’s so incredible that we are still breeding dogs for food. We must stop this cruel activity. I’m so happy for this dogs that were rescued from an unbelievable journey.
Dog meat is actually very low quality and hard to ethically produce. Dogs are carnivorous animals which means they have different proteins in their muscles that makes their meat tougher and less rich in essential vitamins! Dogs were bred as a companion animal and as active hunting animals wouldn’t make good meat. Most places where dog meat farms are set up just have them because there is a high rate of poverty and dogs are much easier to get your hands on than good quality livestock animals. It’s less of a problem that they eat dogs- more of a problem that due to the conditions being so bad that they WOULD eat dogs in the first place, these dog meat farms are basically guaranteed to be inhumane, dirty, cruel places built on desperation.
@@marley7659 cows are eaten as they are the perfect meat for humans, well they where domesticated for food, humans domesticated dogs as companions and they don’t even give you much meat and the meat isn’t very good for human consumption

"I'm giving my cat a good death" BY DROWNING IT?! omg I hope they suffer. That cat deserves much more.i bet they just didn't want to care for him anymore,The disgusting people.
These stories reminded me of a two of my friends who found an abandoned rabbit in a field. It was the middle of winter, so the poor guy was freezing to death. Luckily my friends sprung into action, taking the lucky Ferdinand into they're care and ultimately saving his life. He ended up living a happy and surprisingly long life thanks to the two of them, he deserved it after all he went through. It takes a disgusting and vile person to just leave their own pet to die such a slow death scared, cold, and alone. I know they probably never got charged, so I instead wish and hope they end up stuck out in the freezing cold one day, so they can go through the same thing that they put Ferdinand through. They deserve to feel all the fear and despair he must've felt when they abandoned him.
I dont understand how people dont like cats...they are animals and they react to however your treating them. Its never the cats fault..because they are animals and they react how every animal would if you’re treating them wrong
I think because cats are more independent on average, and not as easily managed. whereas dogs generally give/receive a lot more affection. Dogs are kinda like teddy bears, but cats can be kinda scary or standoffish. They're both nice though.
I hate cats. Don't put me in a room with one, don't put one near me. Still wouldn't let anything bad happen to one on my watch though. People are just evil.
We have three of the sweetest girls and they all had rough starts as kittens. First was found in a dumpster and rescued by the Humane Society, One was brought back to the shelter after two months by her previous family, and our youngest was found under my in-laws’ porch. All of them were between 2-3 months old when they went through it. I can’t stand that our first and last were abandoned so cruelly and that our second probably felt so confused why her first family couldn’t keep her, but now all three live with us, lots of love, and a lot of cat trees.
Ally is an angel on earth; so very compassionate! Scott knows several ladies like Ally: the cat lady, the border collie lady (their names escape me right now). A grateful thank you to all the rescuers!!!
@@marley7659 Honestly the dog meat trade is sadly worse..They're kept in worse conditions, the meat often tastes bad because they don't care about the quality or health of the animals but instead the quantity, there are NO good dog meat traders, the dogs are often abused physically and verbally, the dogs have never been out of a tight crate and they breed them reclessly often just tossing dogs in together to breed and if they fight or kill each other they allow it. The problem is..At least other farm animals have a CHANCE to be treated nice, there are some decent farms out there for them, but dog farms are cruel to the bone with no good sides.
Chickens are great pest eaters. Had a severe tick problem yet those mini velociraptors had a buffet. Thanks to the chickens the dog is tick free and I didn't have to use any nasty pesticides
They are also living garbage disposals. My mother had about 2 dozen at any given time and besides always having fresh eggs, she gave them all the kitchen and table scraps every day. Her sink did not have a garbage disposal and the chickens were the replacement.
I also call chickens mini velociraptor! I care for them and every time they are pellets and i have to handle and check them: their claws always freaking cut me up!
They make the BEST security as well. My uncle had his chickens trained to chase off scrap metal thieves. There's more uses for them besides just dinner.
I've said this before but must comment again, "the more I know of people the better I love my dog." Thankx to these owners & the Veterinarians I still hold out hope for humanity. Prayers for Juice.
I'm surprised they didn't show Jack, another rescue dog. He looks mostly Beagle, and was probably someone's stolen pet. His story was in another episode. He was adopted by a family who have a Basset Hound. (Jan Griffiths).
The dog was probably trying to protect the owners - my dog did ! And lost a leg! So I feel for "Juice" the dog ! So glad the family is safe too. I hope. The catch the creeps
Such heartbreaking stories. God gave us dominion over the animals. That means we are supposed to take care of them. Yet mean people hurt them every day. They will face him one day to give an accounting of their actions. Thankfully there are people like the wonderful lady running the shelter. And, awesome doctors like Scott and Chris helping save lives.
The dogs from Korea is so sad. My aunt has a rescue dog from Korea named mojo and has a few deformities but he is just the sweetest thing. The story touched my heart. He was from a rescue and likely discarded onto the street after a breeder didn’t want him for looking funny. But despite having little to no lower jaw and some extra toes he’s such a softie I’m glad he has a home even though it took him all the way to Canada.

If you think that is bad. Broiler hens live for 7 weeks. Baby boy chicks killed on first day of life( either in macerator or suffocated in a bag). Rescued egg laying hens usually die at 1-2 years. When hens should live around 8 years. They die due to systemic osteoporosis and all sorts of health conditions brought on my excessive egg laying. Hens should only produce 15 eggs a year. Now they produce over 250 a year. Do the math on that one. Where is the nutrients to make those eggs coming from? That is right. The bones.

Animals are so precious and trusting, people who hurt them are heartless
There are people who do the same tk other humans, see human trafficking (modern slavery), genocides in Turkey, China etc.
@@denasewell So then there is ethical slavery then right. As long as I treat my slave correctly and they give me the things I like. Then killing them after a few years isn't a problem.

Yes, he will be perfectly all right. He lives with humans, so he doesn't need depth perception to hunt and survive.
Thank you.

Dogs are tasty tho. Why do you eat cows?

Your friends sound like great people. Kudos to them for their efforts/actions.
It's amazing how this show makes simultaneously hate and respect people.

I mean its the same as any other farmed animal. What is the problem?
This thing happens to pigs and other farm animals everyday. All meat trade is this horrendous 😭
