Bondi Rescue follows the work of the elite professional Lifeguards who patrol Australia’s busiest beach. This is Australia’s real life Baywatch! Taking the viewers on their journey through mass rescues, drownings, resuscitations, shark sightings, and all number of the weird and wonderful experiences Bondi Beach dishes up.
In ‘Bondi Rescue’ the audience sees the action through the eyes of real characters and lifeguards like Hoppo, Deano, Reidy, Jesse, Maxy, Whippet and Harries, as they catch thieves, perform CPR, make drug busts, break up fights, and even handle a navy bomb that washes ashore one afternoon. Every year throws up new and completely unexpected challenges, and how lifeguards adapt is what makes Bondi Rescue a show that’s about much more than swimmers being saved in the surf.

That’s actually because they’re super docile, they don’t attack humans, from what I looked up a whole back, science claims it’s misdirected courtship. Snakes tryna have sex 💀
Apparently sea snakes are less likely to attack humans. Wouldn't advise anyone to do it but I've seen divers handle them without much issue. It's almost like they don't care when they are picked up.

They’re super docile, even more so than our pythons. The only time people are bitten is when they actually GRAB the snake and squeeze as they try to catch it.
You can swim amongst them without worry, they’re not concerned at all.

@@TheUltimateBohab, and incase anyone else is wondering, what they have said is true, the majority of sea snakes are not harmful to humans. If you go to amedee lighthouse/island in New Caledonia, there are literally like 3 sea snakes every square meter, and most people arent even worried about them, as they are too small to bite humans. Yes they are deadly venomous, but they generally don't attack humans unprovoked.
When you think about it, the lifeguards actually have a multitude of jobs. Surfers, rescuers, paramedics, crime investigators (the thieving, the missing children), crowd control, and now pest control.
You’re right, and I would definitely say that they aren’t pests most of the time, they’re just lost animals far from home

It was a baby wobbegong, it wasn’t going to attack anyone and was more scared of all the screaming kids than they were of it. Even full sized ones rarely attack people but have on occasion attacked divers when provoked or scared.
Same with the Port Jackson shark, they are considered not dangerous to humans

I love how Australia has some of the most deadly creatures, but they also seem to be so caring and forgiving towards them. I can’t say for sure, but I feel like where I live, if there was a deadly sea snake swimming near people it would get killed; definitely not rescued AND rehabilitated. So nice to see.

RULE : Rat In The Skater Bowl
To catch a rat in the skater bowl u must get a bucket and a jacket (that is not urs) then scoop the rat up into the bucket and watch the rat jump onto ur face (quickly dodge it with ur skills). Once u have done that scoop it back up again and put the jacket that is not urs over the top of the bucket and call it a day

Australians are on a next level. I'm watching this from Germany and I'm so shocked how y'all are so chill when it comes to sharks, sea snakes and sting rays. I would freak out if I would see sth. like that in a sea or a pool beside me lmao
Bruh it was a wobbegong shark they don’t even bite people. Sea snakes are really timid and so are sting rays. Sting rays are like bees because it is painful for them to sting and it takes ages to regrow the barb
Yk it isn’t as bad as you think, I’m on the GC and you rarely see stingrays or Sharks, if your lucky you’ll see a cool looking jellyfish

I live in the province of Ohio. We used to have rattle snakes here, but not anymore. And, that's _Not_ because we picked them all up and asked them nicely to leave!
