Undertale Yellow- Sparing Decibat and Dalv in the Genocide Route

Fun fact, if you kill Dalv after Sparing Decibat in the genocide, your overworld genocide sprite reverts to normal. This is most likely to solidify that you aborted the genocide by sparing Decibat earlier but it's funny that it happens right after you kill Dalv.

The number of different dialogue sequences Dalv has is honestly quite impressive

I found out you can skip Decibat, spare Dalv, backtrack to the room you would find Decibat and find yourself in his battle, spare him, and then expend Snowdin's enemy count to continue the genocide route. This only works as of 1.1 as the return to the Genocide route after sparing Dalv was only added in that update. As for why sparing Decibat AFTER Dalv allows you to continue the route? I'm not sure.

What? Decibat wasn't even there in my genocide run.

Most likely if you kill all monsters before reaching Decibat, they just disappear. Just like with the Napstablook in the original UT

This is actually pretty neat! Kinda wish I knew about it when I did my Neutral Run. In that run of mine, I only killed Decibat, Guardener, and Axis. I do have a question though, was this unique dialog in the demo?
