Undertale yellow might have an genocide route that is actually more positive, since you kill flowey, free the others souls and probably put toriel as the new monster leader. That is a heck of lot better than whatever chara was doing in the original

The worst part is, you can leave Delv alive. If you do, he'll be furious because he thinks you're doing it so he'll suffer total isolation forever now, knowing you spared him and killed anyone he could've been friends with.
Let it also be known that if you attempt to use Acts when Monsters are in this injured state, the Monster will all act wary and scared of you and just generally be extremely uncomfortable

whenever I did my genocide run, i convinced myself i was doing the right thing since the monsters killed 5 humans, and one human soul is worth almost EVERY monster soul. an eye for an eye, or in this case, a population of monsters for a human.

Ah now i remember i did play the demo of that game some years back i remember that bat character that wanted to be alone and i remember when the demo ends after you either spare him or defeat him
I think there’s also a genius element behind Undertale Yellow Genocide because (spoiler warning) it’s the only route you can break the canon. Clover makes it out of the underground alive in Genocide, killing Flowey and Asgore before leaving with the other 5 souls despite what we know to be canon. It’s a good way to preempt any fans complaining there’s no route where Clover lives-there is! You just have to destroy everything around you to get it and the fact that regular Undertale Genocide also feels like you’re breaking the game (and ends with that literally happening) makes it match up really nicely. It also gives a reason to do Genocide besides a desire to see all outcomes-this outcome in some ways is better than the canon path given Clover lives and if you think Asgore got off easy for killing children in normal pacifist Undertale he gets a form of justice-brutal and unforgiving though it may be.
If imma be honest, I love genocide route so much. I love how they beg me for mercy until I kill them, laughing at their pitiful attempts to take me down. I love getting stronger, gaining LV in the process. In summary, I love genocide route, and it makes me laugh.

I actually find undertale to be more sad than yellow probably because of the fact ignoring player wise, the human really doesn’t have a main goal or reason to be killing the monsters, and it seems all like it’s just for fun. For yellow though, clover has a main goal and reason for why they want to grind and kill monsters, because they are filled with vengeance and want revenge, actively seeking out monsters to destroy them
I swear, Undertale Yellow feels more like Undertale 2 than Deltarune. Which I know that Deltarune more of a spin-off than actually part of Undertale. I would love it if Toby also noticed this and maybe even recruit the Dev, Master Sword, to also work on Deltarune like he did with Taxiderby for Deltarune Chapter 2. Or maybe even better allowing and supporting Master Sword to Undertale for the other souls. At the very least, it feels like the Blue Soul would be next (or more accurately, come before Yellow, since the several references of Ballad).
