Thank you, I'll check the tools
The link with the tools is expired :/
Also I don't understand, when I search for these tools there are some kits that look like knives and others that have some pretty wide tools
Interesting, this may be a regional issue. I chatted with the folks from Schaaf Tools a bit about regional availability and they were currently only releasing to the US due to tool availability and logistics.
I'm going to review my research on good options for other countries I did a while back and will update tools options when I get good info for you. Just another place to improve on my end.
My daughter will LOVE one of these! Thanks for the tutorial!
Yay!! you are most welcome!!
My grandson is into Pokémon. He will enjoy one ❤Thanks
I really like the pictures you added on the left side. That helps a lot.
Yep!! I know I like that stuff myself and wanted to share them with yall too!
I have been SO excited for this video! ❤ Great job!
Yay! Thank you!!
Noice, and with a change if paint and slightly bushier tail you have a Flareon 😊
Been looking forward to seeing this, thank you for sharing the process
You're welcome!!!

You're welcome! I'm glad to help you learn :)
Love this! Can’t wait to try it!
Thanks!!!!! Hope you have fun!!!
Amazing, I want to learn wood sculpting/carving and this is really cool
Give it a shot! But before doing the Eevee project, I highly recommend doing my fox project first. This way you build some experience in the cuts and how to work with the wood before going into a bit more of a carving with more details.
@@CarvingisFun sure! I just have to check which wood and equipment I have to buy first
Love it! ❤ Pls give us more step by step Videos! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Worken on it!
It does take me a looooong time to develop, refine, plan, film, and edit. We are looking at anywhere between 20 and 40 hours of work per video to get it to the level I want.
And we appreciate your work very much! 🤗🤗
In your opinion, would it be useful / possible to add Evee legs? Or is it too risky? I don't want to screw up my first one, which is already finished 😂
You are more than welcome to do so!! I didn't for simplicity of the video.
I cant wait to get to my house and grab my tools!! Thx for the video :D
Have fun!
Красавчик молодец.
This is awesome! You have such an amazing talent! Please could you carve a charmander next? It's fine if ypu don't want to!
Thanks!!!
It is on my list to do, buuuuuut it's not going to be as simple as this one. It's gonna be a bit bigger. Thinking a 2x2x4 block of wood here.
Ok, sounds good thank you so much for replying!@@CarvingisFun
I finally found it
Cool 😅
Is this a beginner tutorial? Should I do some practicing before I try this?
I want to make this for a friend who is a huge pokemon fan! And his favorite pokemon is eevee. Are you a pokemon fan or eas this a request?
Howdy!!
I would recommend trying my fox tutorial first as it is similar in shape so you can get a feel for working with the tools first.
And yes, I have been playing the pokemon games and collecting the cards since they came out!!
@CarvingisFun I love the fox video! It's very cute. I really appreciate you making these videos. I find them very relaxing and a great dopamine boost!
Couldn't you also make a cat with that style?
Yeppers! This one in particular was actually an alteration to my fox tutorial :)
@@CarvingisFun I noticed that, but I thought the same as I watched the fox video
I love the project, but why did you skip out on the pattern sizes?
I prefer having those and saving them for future use. Can you just give us the pattern like you used to please?
Oh I will eventually, just have a new graphic artist to help me make them nice looking again and setting up a new process. It wasn't ready by the time I wanted to have the video up so I just bypassed it and planned on putting the pattern on my pattern templates page that I'm setting up this month.
@@CarvingisFun I thank you for that. This Evee looks too damn adorable not to make. I'm carving one right now, but I just prefer having a pattern to work from, even if I change things along the way. Like giving it a longer tail, kind of like with the fox.
So you've only done ONE actual video in a month! Shorts do NOT count as far as i'm concerned. If that's all you've got, I will unsubscribe!!
Feel free to do so!
Wtf, are you even paying them?
Bye
Why dont you make better ideas, like fun ones, ive got some if you need, if you have discord or anything
Well, I kinda want to do what I enjoy too!
Feel free to post your ideas here if you want, I dont use Discord anymore.
@@CarvingisFun like humoristic stuff, an santa elf with a gift hidden under his hat for example
@@CarvingisFun what do you enjoy making?
Mostly animals, figures, and objects.
I do lots of stuff off camera in wood and stone. Some fun and whimsical, others simple and comforting. Basically, stuff that makes me happy.
@@CarvingisFun oh i see
