Thanks for the video. I see a lot of creators showing us WHAT they make but not HOW they make it. A video series on burrs/bits and how they are used would be very helpful. Things like what bits to use when making eyes, or hair/fur, or feathers. We appreciate all the info you're sharing. Thanks again!
Thank you 🙏
Got a dremel for my birthday and bought a load of shaped bits. Cant wait to use em. This video helps visualise how each part can help gauge, carve and detail your model. Thank you for this video
Glad it was helpful. If you need help just let me know.Thx
Thank you for this video - to see the rotary burrs in action - doing their various roles. This is surely a helpful video.
Glad you like it. Thank you.
Очень красиво и оригинально сделал. Это видео дало мне понять что можно сделать красоту из всякой мелочи и безделушки. Спасибо мастеру🤓
I gotta say, you make it look sooo easy!! Well done sir!
Thank you
Hello friend
Lajos this was a great tutorial for people to see what to use. Awesome job on the carving love it my friend. See you on the next one. Great sound track also.
Thank you. Glad you like it 👍
Thank you for sharing this helps alot, nice job on the woodspirit
Glad to help
Ok, I'm inspired. I just went and bought a dremel with the flex shaft. I'm 62 and always wanted to carve something. Hoping I'm not too old to try. I'm going to try some fishing lures. I have tried my own flies for years. Blessings
That’s great to hear. Of corse you never to old trying out new things. Have fun wear eye protection and dust musk. Happy carving 👍👍👍👍
You've gotta be careful, depending on which model you bought. Some of them have in-built safety sensors to detect if the tool is being held by a child, in which case the tool will not be able to start. However, a specific component of the sensor array called a "Streppleprump-Buckshank incapacitor" can be extremely dangerous. Somehow, the sensor array malfunctions if it detects a person OVER a certain age, 60 i believe. Rather than disabling the tool as it would with a child, your tool will run seemingly normal. For a while, that is. Suddenly and without warning, your tools Peenock processor will determine your age based on how much Age radiation your hand emitted while holding the tool. If it detects that its user is age 60 or older, the tool will without warning explode extremely violently, killing the user and maiming/disfiguring nearby family members. This makes using certain Dremel models a game of Russian Roulette, and unfortunately there is no recall, fix, or anything else. The best you can do is to learn your tool model ASAP, and not use it for ANY reason until you can determine how heavily your body emits age radiation. This is a life-or-death scenario
That was very useful. I found bits in some jewelry and wasn't sure what they were for. Cleared that up. Time to play, thanks
Glad you like it 👍thx
This is _such_ a good idea, demonstrating them like this!
Glad you like it 👍
That was a very useful demonstration off your favorite bits. Thanks, and best wishes.
Thnks for watch
ERES UN ARTISTA.......HACIA 20 AÑOS QUE NO TALLABA MADERA Y ME COMPE LA DREMEL 4000, UN A MARAVILLA...TENGO UNA DUDA COMO CEPILLAS LAS ESTATUAS CON QUE ACCESORIO? TE FELICITO POR TU TRABAJO ME HAS INSPIRADO Y LO AGRADEZCO
Thank you
Wow what a great way to demonstrate your talent and the tools to you. Thanks for your passion.👍😇
NEEDED THIS VIDEO, THANK YOU
Glad to hear that 👍👍
Thanks for the demo, that was VERY informative...but those same blades react VERY differently on the OPPOSITE side of the wood grain. It would be helpful to demonstrate how to use those when going AGAINST the grain (and rotation) of the various bits. I've had some difficulty controlling the Dremel/bit when I am going in either the opposite direction or on the other side of the face...thanks!
It’s the same. Only reason I showing one side this time because If I do the opposite side it will be up side down and looks not good on a demo video. Also harder to follow the steps. Thx
Very cool! I always wish I had nice small tipped burrs like these, are those diamond burrs?
some of them diamonds and also a few carbide ones too. thx
Wow thanks for sharing your talent .great way of showing us what to use .👍😇
Yooooo thanks for replying to my comment! Much appreciated lol
👍
My hands can do this. But I don't understand how you can see that in the wood when you start carving. Is it just experience or is that a natural skill?
I have a picture in my head but what o wanna do and during the carving process it’s changing sometimes. Just start your carving and you will see what’s going to happen 👍
Lajos, great tutorial as always 👌 my proxxon shaft had a problem it's given back for repairs ( sad) 😄. Thank you so very much 🙏
😱 what happened with the shaft?
@@carvingandsuch when it's stretched it works and when you try to change the position it stops spinning 😬. I think the inner coil has a problem , the distributor has taken it back and promised that they will repair it - about 1000kms from where I live 😃 thabks Lajos for inquiring about it 🙏
You are very smart and creative
Great video thanks, it helps so much to see you sculpt to understand what these tools are doing exactly. I use mainly olive wood which is a very hard wood. I find it takes so much time to carve, and I probably have the wrong dremel bits... That's why I'm looking 😊 Do you think I need to use a higher speed?
I never carved olive wood. But I did some drift oak. Also hard and the higher speed just burned my Kutzall bits. I bought a powerful foredom tx and at mid speed with that high torque solved my problem.
Hope this helped. Thank you and happy carving.
@@carvingandsuch thank you so much for your reply and advice. Drift wood is also very dense and hard!! But beautiful. Take care and keep up with your work.
Brilliant just brilliant, thank you.
Grande sensei. Cada vez que bajas un video aprendo mas .Muchas gracias por compartir tu don 🥂🇨🇱🤟💖💐
Great to hear that. Thank you 👍
Artist!
Thx

@@carvingandsuch Thank you, I already have. What is the last finishing tool called? or where can i get? Please send me a link or a name. I live in Poland. Maybe I can find it
@@carvingandsuch 8:15 Please write me what this bit is
Great video, awesome carving
très joli résultat.
Hi. Tank u for this amazing video. What's wood name?
Thank you. It’s hard to tell what type. It’s an old table leg 😉
Brilliant, thank you.
Very nicely done.
Great video.😊
Thanks for watching
So cool 😎 where do you get your dremel bits from?
Usually Amazon or Lowes thx
Very beautiful. I wanted to buy a rotary. Is Dremel 3000 good enough to do such beautiful things? Did u have experience with using other brands rotary? What could u advise for a beginner?
I believe you gonna be more than happy with the Dremel 3000. I have the Foredom too , very powerful end great tool when I using harder wood.
Thank you
@@carvingandsuch thank u for your advice 💗
Beautiful work and wonderful machine! It looks like to work with pencil.
Yes that’s why I like it. Thx 👍👋
What kind of this wood??
U R real artist 👌🏼
I really don’t know. Some old parts of a furniture . Thx
@@carvingandsuch thanks
I have a Dremel tool I use to use for cutting ho railroad track and tips of nails and screws flush with wall or wood. I have never carved with it. Would like to learn. Where do you get your wood to carve on?
I use cedar or poplar from local hardware store. Or just look for furniture on garage days and grab the legs😉. Online you can buy cottonwood bark. Hope this helps. If you have questions let me know 👍
Magnifique
I didn’t see a speed dial on your dremel. I have been whittling and thought about using my dremel just never used it for wood and not sure what speeds are good for carving.
Usually between half to full speed also depends on bits, and wood hardness but you will figure out easily
@@carvingandsuch thanks going to experiment on some different wood pieces tonight
Erik, the speed gauge is on the actual main body if the Dremel - that's the flexi-shaft he's using.
Amazing.
Hello friend, it was very top, my congratulations, I'm from Brazil and your video arrived here
Glad you like it. Hello from Florida 👋
Do you use or own a Micro carver such as a Ram etc. ? Is you son learning to carve?
Never used a micro carver. My son so busy has no time sitting with me and do any woodwork. 😢😁👋Thank you
Very cool
👍👏 Wowww cool. Thank you 👏👍I just subscribed your channel.
Glad you joined 👍thx
I looking for a wood carving set that fit in my dremel, can you help me i bought a set but bits coming out,... I have kutzall but for the finner work I looking for a set
thank you for your help I have a dremmel with a flex connected
You can use a chuck to if you have different size bits and makes the changes very quick and easy. Beside my Kutzall i like to use carbide bits and just a few diamond bits for finishing up.
@@carvingandsuch thank you so much 😊 I precede this a lot :)
If you need help don’t hesitate and shoot me an email
Bravo
Please, could you tell me what do you use at the end as liquid. Thank you.
Sure I can. Tung oil.
Very nice ! I speak bad english, pourriez vous me donner les noms des 3 embouts utilisés please ? I try can you give me the name of the tree woods you utilize with the dremel to sculpt ? thanks
The threes are I using mostly cedar and poplar.Started carving cottonwood bark not long ago. Hope this helps
@@carvingandsuch Hi, I think she was asking about the name of the drill bits that you use to carve.
Donde puedo comprar un equipo como este?
