I always am amazed at how sculptors can see the object in depth before starting. New to carving and I'm hoping the skill comes with practice but if there are any videos you can create to help train in the process that would be great. Will check out the rest of your videos. Maybe it's there already. Thank you for sharing your time, talent and inspiration.
Time Enuf I glad you like it have fun practicing dot give up an let me know if you need help
I recommend getting familiar with wood spirit carving as there's some good videos for it and you start to get a feel for what the wood wants to do and seeing the little patterns. Best of luck

Not yet but I tried ebony. Oh my I love the deep dark color but impossible to carve it . I made a simple ring out of it anyway 😉

Juan Manuel Perez Hello from Florida 👋
I didn't know my Dremel could that? Some mighty fine work there Sir! New sub, I have a lot of catching up to do on videos.
What did you think it was for?
I liked your work very much, you could still make place for candles at the top.
I've just bought dremel 300 so wish me luck :)-
Good luck 👍
I'm new to Dremels, but this thing has been great. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxfPgcZ5_Cl0HDUKkMJAKde11YKQZVgMoR The variable speed is awesome and the cordless aspect makes it so easy to work with. I am constantly finding uses for it that make tasks easier. Recently I put in a new deadbolt on one of our doors. I knew I had to enlarge the hold where the deadbolt goes into the door frame. At first I thought I would have to get a big router and figure out how to use it for that, but then I rermembered we have the dremel. I was able to enlarge the hole almost as easy as if I was drawing with a pen. It's also great for grinding our dog's nails done and so many other household tasks.
It sure is
I want to do this! It seems like great therapy!!! I would wish he would suggest the tools he is using
All in the description below
I really like this video. Great video
Hermoso trabajo!!!
You make this look easy enough even for me to try it!!!!
You definitely have to try it. 😉🙏
@@carvingandsuch Thanks for the reply. It appears that you may be using one of the Slow Speed Mandrels that I make. Calvin Rocky Bosarge told me he sent you one. I wonder if you might be interested in another sanding product that I make as well. it is a soft rubber contour sander that goes on my mandrels. If you would like to try it I would be pleased to send along one for you to try. At no cost to you of course. If you would like to try it all I would need from you is your mailing address and I can pop one in the mail.
Thank you. I’m more than happy to try.
Please send me an email to Carvigandsuch@gmail.com and continue from there. Thank you
An excellent peice... Thank you.Just one thing so we can learn better from you... Make a list & Link the "Specific Kutzall Burrs" you use during the carving? ... Shape Name... + Texture Exterme, Coarse, fine etc.? - And the make & Model of wood burner you use... I know it is a little more trouble for you, but it will be very helpful and informative for carving beginners and "newbees" who are slowly putting together the tools and accesories for woodcarving. ... Thanks again.
Jay C I already did something similar
