George Michael wrote that sax solo and the music. He said it was his best creation of his career (at least at one point he did). I had the cassette single of this and i wore it out on my little dual cassette boom box (JVC with xtra bass) when i was in college. I just loved the music and his voice and the song was bittersweet. Wow, I just found that same cassette single in a box in my closet. Forgot it was Wham. Had Careless Whisper on one side and Careless Whisper (instrumental) on the other. Please listen to his songs "A Different Corner" and "Kissing a Fool" both are very moving, but in very different ways . Really, anything you choose by him is fabulous. Oh, you MUST also check out his duet with Aretha Franklin, "I Knew You Were Waiting". You will 💗💗💗!
I'm a kid of the 80ies, born in 1970. Sometimes I feel all the good music has already been written. George Michael, and Wham!, are two of my life soundtrack. I terribly miss those years.
No doubt a lot of good music was written back in the 70s and 80s, but good music is still being written nowadays if you know where to look. Sincerely sir, from a 2000s kid🙏
One more Try is my favorite song from him.
Not sure I even have a working cassette player now. I am sure it still plays, but all those run throughs probably wore off some of the material from the tape.
George Michael was very suave. His voice was super smooth and his style was very fine. It is very obvious why he became a pop icon in the 80's.
Loving that sway 🤣👍
Such a beautiful voice
I am a metalhead but that song is my guilty pleasure song. There is also an extended version that's really cool
Wonderful song by a very talented guy Rip George
Great review guys!
This was massive in England in the 80s when I was a kid, school discos etc many people had their first dances and other things to this! Probably most kids and young adults for about 20 years after aswell Lol 😅🏴
This song was huge when I was in HS and incredibly ground breaking for its time. The girls were especially swooned by it. Lol RIP George.
