No . Quinoa is not a millet

peral millet is bajra. we can make roti or khichadi with it. Quinoa is a grain imported into India. Pearl millet is home grown and is a staple part of the diet of mahrastrians and gujjus - gluten free, high protein, food of the poor and keeps you full for hours. being a complex carbohydrate it takes time to digest, induces good gut bacteria, and we have to eat it smeared with Ghee and curd as the accompaniment. Adding coriander chutney kicks it up a notch :)
