Amazing, i am totally impressed! The way you are using all these tools makes obvious that you learned some arts and crafts, like Udo Pipper revealed to us. The lucky owner of this LP will be happy! Greetings from Germany!
Great job but please take off that custom shop badge and Replace it with the regular Vintage style toggle cover plate. It's the first thing I did when I got my Murphy lab! I took that badge off and put on a regular plate😁
@@BrankoPichler I am not against Gibson including that badge plate with the case candy but it should not be installed on the guitar from the factory. If the owner wants it on his R9 well that is their choice, Personally i do not like it on a Historic guitar.

not a good idea, moisture gets into the wood that way. Proff. cryo is different as you might know.😊., where the temp. goes down to 180 celsius below. Thats where the amazing authentic crackles appear and the great " old " sound arises. Had some great results on my Framus Framus custom with cryo tuning.
When you see a guitar billed as "the most accurate representation ever" and see how not accurate it is, it's actually laughable. At that point when someone else has to make your accurate reissue, more historically accurate and you're still charging $7,000 usd you're a laughable company... Great work as always man, still waiting for the Jimmy Page #1/#2 series 😀👍👍
@8BombCustom You're welcome! I enjoy your work, there's guitar builders here in America that can't do what you do.I hope to one day get the opportunity to play one of your fine instruments...
Can't believe payin gibson so much money and so much was wrong with the guitar. What the hell wax dots? Three dips of glue for the fretboard? It's a fever dream...
@8BombCustom don't really think so. I would choose a japanese made guitar everytime. Iven Chinese or korean, indonesian. I'm fed up with american made.
Not sure who would be fooled into thinking this one is a real vintage guitar when the serial number alone (which is retained by the builder) gives it away….
I'm guessing you have never watched this channel before? He always puts his logo on the guitars. He's not trying to rip anyone off. I don't know how many people can afford a real 59 les paul? He does amazing restoration work, and I don't hear you saying Murphy labs are making great fakes? Hope this helps reshape your opinion. Cheers.
Calling it "fake vintage Les Paul guitar" is quite inappropriate description. The guitar is original, newer Gibson which was refinished. No mystery about it. The aging/relic-ing is a matter of taste as some people prefer it's look and feel. There is nothing wrong to this. It's like upgrading the pickups, however affecting the lacquer, not the electronics.
It's obvious that building guitars is not simply a job, brother, but a vocation! You constantly mix passion, precision, and art--a rare combination!
Thank you! It's a labor of love 😊
This is amazing! Great job on this one

That Les Paul looks like it’s a legit old school burst. That’s crazy!

I have an idea for you. Start making a relic for cases. It could be nice :)
Maybe 🤔
Yeeesss!!! I would love to see the process of relicing a case
what ink or paint are you using for serial number stamping?
Sometimes it can be permanent stamp inc, but at last time i use typography ink
What did you use to remove the laquer and stain? Great work!
Thank you. I use acetone
Do you also accept relic work for the Les Paul I have? If possible, where should I contact you?

Was it a ”Bavarian makeover” before?
it's a 2012 with a relatively late 2013 serial number?
Maybe. It's important? It is just factory Gibson R9. Actualy for me only wood and construction most important things..
Who did it? Bavarian makeover? Jäger?
That he not make it perfect, its not realy his style.
I'm assuming it's BM. At least that's what's implied...
This was cool. I don't see the value in the relic effect. It was great before the relic job.
Ok
So 12.5K plus your work.
😬 Some people just have too much money and don't even know what to do with it .
Some people know what he needs
I see what you did there 🇺🇦
😊
I put my 2005 Les Paul standard in the freezer -15 for about 6 hours.
Hardly any lacquer checking happened.
Because the nitro Gibson uses has a lot of plasticisers in it.

I’m confused.
Bro does a mint job painting this guitar and then completely ruins it
It is fun 😄
I would have stopped once it looked new again✋ These Gibsons are the most beautiful works of art when there new🎸

It is not surprised. All factorys do his things similar.Gibson make his job better than all. I mean in production guitars.

Такой канал мы потеряли на русском.. Да.. Что-то не то с нашим обществом. Я и у Гибсонмании это наблюдал. Комменты реально разные.
WTF are you scratching and dinging it for?
For fun
Not very clever (or ethical) emiting the R preface in the serial number.
What you mean?
yikes
You don't makeover Les Paul! Les Paul makeover you.
Absolutely
Take the Gibson logo off while you’re at it because it’s far from it now.
Sometimes i do it
Obviously you're a skilled builder, so why spend your time making fake vintage Les Paul guitars and ripping off some unsuspecting buyer?

for both front and back side of the guitar?
Thank you. I use heat gun for back side and acetone for top ans cleaning.

Your work is amazing. One more question
Does acetone damage the binding or not??? @8bombcustom
@alihabibzadeh16 Thank you. Yes, acetone softens plastic, but it depends on the time of exposure.
