    Hi Dr. Nitro did you see in the Andertons interview that the Murphy Lab was doing fake scalpel lines until it finally ‘discovered’ how to crack nitro with temperature changes. Which makes no sense because Tom Murphy said he knew about cracked guitars staying in a cold car overnight. It was bizarre.

    Just curious. I noticed on a previous video that you would use a heat gun before you would take a (I think) abrasive 0000 pad to it. I’m assuming it’s to dull the gloss of the paint.
    My question is why do you heat it first?

    I am going to DEFFINATLY give you a "Thumbs Up" You deserve it. Like myself I grew into becoming Obsessed with 50'S LP's. But, Originally born & raised in Miami FL. ( USA ) &, I SERIOUSLY can't believe I'm 60 !!! Somehow... Allmost 0 Grey. & have been in to rather extreme sports. & younger HOT Girls ! ( It goes with the touring in Bands ) < Legal> of course! If a girl is "Vacant" upstairs... I don't have time for that. I got married @ 21, for all the Right reasons & Divorced... for all the Right reasons. I was truly blessed to have, After moving back to Miami, 3 Bands with Record deals pending & 1, Signed W/a Major ! I'st gig, A HUGE outdoor event, was trial by FIRE ! 1, 86 LP W/ PAF'S & the other "Right stuff" but still... Not "Great" I must tell you, I bought & sold vintage guitars since 79. ( The New stuff was Horrible ) I know this will probably drive you Crazy. But @ pawn shops, small music stores, Antique stores ect, Pre CBS & Old Goldtops were $350 -$400. Max. @ some yardsales, Goodwill, $50. !! Burst, from the few who knew what they had... $1,500. Max. !! & I would complain because 57' or other Goldtops were $500 to $750 !! AMERICA @ that time, 100% Freedom !! Not so much now... No Internet, & Cellphones. ( Surveillance devices) as they are Privately owned. & can Bypass Government restrictions. Then when parts became valueable. Guitars like ES 175's.. ect, parts were "Swaped" W Clone parts, W/PAF decals, added to PU's. ( people into 175's. ) weren't into PAF'S Soo much. Also Much fake "Fender, Pat pend, fake saddles & Perfect Decales. Hand ball routed body's, & there's still a good supply of Duco ( GM ) lacquer in custom colors!! Sooo many fakes !! I acquired many Original cases from The Hard Rock Venue & restaurant. ( Now called the vault ) Free or $20. ?? They were an account of mine. Insane !!! & the cases had many tour stickers ect. That came to an abrupt end. I Apprenticed under an Amazing guy, Who Apprenticed under Jimmy D aquisto. Who studied under John D Angelico !' ( Steve Carr ) Who had a shop in NYC. & then, Moved to the Orlando area. Upon first meeting him. It seemed impossible the famous names he worked for/& With. So he brought me to his Unbelievable shop. & had many old Picture Albums. WOW ! LEGIT ! I Apprenticed under him 4 years. But not nearly enough !! He designed the CS 336. & Built Archtop's for Gibson. ( They sent new case's W/ Case candy ect. ) I don't believe they like to admit it. But 100% REAL. Steve, Jimmy & John Died of Lung cancer. So, please be Very careful W/ Proper exhaust. I was Blessed that he would pay me In various vintage guitars ppl traded for Guitars & repairs. There is a US Documentary by his wife. But was never released. & their is an Australian film Co. Doing a proper Documentary. Sorry for the LONG Post ! I still have a late 59 that is UNBELIEVABLE ! & a MKII 50w 72, That is dynamic & Unreal ! 4 input, Non Master, but I don't say "Plexi" because those were early, & Litterly had plexiglass front panels, like a JTM 45 & overall less "Gain" Peace be with you in Belarus! Beautiful country ! Amazing work you do. & Primarily self-taught. & ethical !

    Buy a Epiphone 50'sor 60's standard, sand down the back of the neck and round over the edges of the fingerboard, upgrade the electronics and hardware wherever required for your personal taste and you'll have an awesome Les Paul for the money, especially since the Epiphones are already killer guitars if you like the weird D-shaped neck and don't mind the urethane finish

    • @8BombCustom
      @8BombCustom  Год назад

      Yes. Have you tried it?

    • @wilhelmtheconquerer6214
      @wilhelmtheconquerer6214 Год назад

      @@8BombCustom not yet, but I've seen enough Gibsons on RUclips (and tried a fair few dull ones in person as well) to know that they're way overpriced for what you're getting. If I'd ever want a Les Paul or SG it will be by another brand (probably not Epiphone though, since that weird D-neck definitely isn't my cup of tea. Great bang-for-your-buck otherwise, though)

    • @8BombCustom
      @8BombCustom  Год назад

      @@wilhelmtheconquerer6214 It can be worth. Especially with ES models. Epiphone product more quality wood base sometimes then Gibson. But kills this with plastic rinish and cheap parts. Polyester finish very hard to remove. But when you achieve this and change parts and pickups, then guitar can be better as Gibson CS. I have tried this several times. It works.
