- This is a big one. Without a doubt the biggest project I've ever taken on, I'm going to attempt to rescue this extremely rare Iconic Volvo 850 T-5R and get it back on the road where it belongs. It's going to need some work, but saving this one from the scrapyard had to be done.

Great cars. I replaced the same wing on mine - an 850 I've owned now for the last 30 years.
So far I'm really impressed with it. Needs a few repairs to the inner wing but we're well on the way.
Take radiator out and use a hydro porta-power and push off opposite side to straighten it

Nice one, would recomend to rebuild front struts tho, bump stops have deteriorated and sepparated from washer, so either they were never out of the car or they were rebuilt a long time ago.
Also look out for front radiator cover on junkyards :D

Just watched this video and glad you got the old girl and making her look her best 👍 if it was me I would get somone to pull that front over on a jig… if u drill them spot welds your be drilling for hours as they multi layer inner wings on them that’s why there very strong if u need any help let me know I travel the uk looking after all 850’s for my customers 👍
I'll definitely look into getting it sent out. I could probably sort it but I've plenty of other projects to be getting on with! I'll probably be in touch.
@@Classic_and_Retro or u could get that trolly jack handle and inside rail and a ratchet strap and pull it over maybe lol be worth a shot lol… same as me few to meny projects lol

I think it might need a new headlight wiper blade for the drivers side, might get away with it though. 😅
