So he hit her because she didn’t bail him out for his prior arrest???? What a waste of space and sorry excuse for a man
Threatened her with a knife too and earlier in the week struck her with the same car and broke her foot
Worse, the bail was because he hit her with his vehicle, exactly what he did to the parade. So because she didn't pay his bail for a crime (against her!) he went and REPEATEDLY committed the same crime. And this time actually killed people.
Exactly. He was mad that she didn’t bail him out after he was arrested for running her over with the same vehicle!!!
He was also pissed because she wouldn't drop the charges. He had his mother calling her trying to force her to drop the charges. He called her telling her that he loves her that they would get married if she drop the charges. When she didn't do that he called her & threaten her. That's how he ended up with a witness Intimidation charge.
She is answering just as quick as he does, and with just as much attitude and he can't jump up and hit her. I know that's pissing him off 😂
Oh for sure. Imagine what he’s like in a relationship, behind closed doors. What a nightmare. If he gets this angry at a judge, in Public in front of a crowd and he cannot control his anger- seriously imagine the damage he does to everyone in his personal life. In the UK, if you represent yourself you’re not allowed to question or cross examine a witness who you’ve been accused of committing domestic violence against. You have to ask through an advocate and your questions have to be vetted. Pretty insane he was allowed to question her despite one of his charges relating to violence towards her

This young lady was amazing in her testimony. She didn't waiver and she was clear in her testimony. I don't know anything about her or her personal life, but she did a fantastic job here, and has my respect.

I have testified multiple times. It is completely common to remember some things and forget others while being questioned. Also, she wouldnhave been allowed to re read her statement from the time of the incident and for SURE that statement would have been detailed.

Anyone with half a brain would have read those police reports and created some questions BEFORE the witnesses are on the stand. But nooooooo. Not Duh-rell. He's gonna go into every cross-examination blind and make everyone wait while he reads some of the report. Then ask a garbled, convoluted, unintelligible question. Then read some more. The judge wanted him to bury himself. Giving him every opportunity to defend himself so there could not be a mistrial or an appeal. So he was allowed to press the boundaries beyond the normal for a lawyer/defendant. He is hanging himself. It’s part of the court process to always refer to litigants and witnesses by their surname. This is to eliminate unclarity that may arise when just using pronouns.

They're giving him EVERY opportunity possible, so that he cannot appeal later or call for a mistrial under the excuse that he had ineffective counsel (aka himself). So if they afford him more leniency than what would normally be afforded to an attorney, it's only to give him enough rope to hang himself.
All of his witnesses harmed his case more than helped him. Literally ever person he introduced either testified to seeing him in the red SUV the day of, spoke ill of him, and provided more detail into his violent nature than was known before. He’s a pure idiot.
I suspect because they know he's going to throw an epic tantrum when he gets the chance to appeal. So they are bending over backwards to make *ABSOLUTELY SURE* there is nothing he can point to and claim, "I was treated unfairly," because if there is then this entire painful process has to happen all over again.
@@Blyndir I think ALL these stunts he's pulled during this trial (starting from firing his defense attorney until arguing with the judge regarding his closing statement and bringing up jury nullification) were calculated moves on his part to get a mistrial declared. He will probably ground his appeal on the basis of not having an effective defense attorney and hopefully whatever judge he says that to reads him the riot act.
It must be really frustrating for him to have to communicate with her through his words, instead of his usual love language.

He's not "the alleged defendant", he is the defendant. Before the verdict was read he was the "alleged murderer", but he's always been the actual defendant. There's no "alleged" about that fact.
The degree to which he seems so unconcerned with murdering 6 people is unreal to me. He has been such a trash human being for his whole life: this was his one opportunity to have the stage. And he managed to make himself look like more of an insufferable dumbass than he already was.
