      Worse, the bail was because he hit her with his vehicle, exactly what he did to the parade. So because she didn't pay his bail for a crime (against her!) he went and REPEATEDLY committed the same crime. And this time actually killed people.

      He was also pissed because she wouldn't drop the charges. He had his mother calling her trying to force her to drop the charges. He called her telling her that he loves her that they would get married if she drop the charges. When she didn't do that he called her & threaten her. That's how he ended up with a witness Intimidation charge.

      She isn t a strong mother. DB is a waste of space, but she is not the outstanding strong women people now make her to be. She has a long way to go, lost herself. Not parenting not even 1 of her kids. I think his biggest frustration, how insane in those circumstances is that she was as lost, living on the edge of society as him and now been made as a strong, admirable women.

    In the UK, if you represent yourself you’re not allowed to question or cross examine a witness who you’ve been accused of committing domestic violence against. You have to ask through an advocate and your questions have to be vetted. Pretty insane he was allowed to question her despite one of his charges relating to violence towards her

    This young lady was amazing in her testimony. She didn't waiver and she was clear in her testimony. I don't know anything about her or her personal life, but she did a fantastic job here, and has my respect.

      I have testified multiple times. It is completely common to remember some things and forget others while being questioned. Also, she wouldnhave been allowed to re read her statement from the time of the incident and for SURE that statement would have been detailed.

      The judge wanted him to bury himself. Giving him every opportunity to defend himself so there could not be a mistrial or an appeal. So he was allowed to press the boundaries beyond the normal for a lawyer/defendant. He is hanging himself.       They're giving him EVERY opportunity possible, so that he cannot appeal later or call for a mistrial under the excuse that he had ineffective counsel (aka himself). So if they afford him more leniency than what would normally be afforded to an attorney, it's only to give him enough rope to hang himself.

      @@Blyndir I think ALL these stunts he's pulled during this trial (starting from firing his defense attorney until arguing with the judge regarding his closing statement and bringing up jury nullification) were calculated moves on his part to get a mistrial declared. He will probably ground his appeal on the basis of not having an effective defense attorney and hopefully whatever judge he says that to reads him the riot act.
