Yeah what a class guy, especially when he cheated hundreds of times on his wife and later tried to defend it with lies like "It's better than doing drugs like the other wrestlers" even though he was a massive coke head as he later finally admitted in 350 days lol

Perry Saturn and Chris Benoit were the only two guys that I knew that had websites with a message board back in the WCW days where they would actually answer your messages sometimes and so I always felt a connection to those two.
I even stopped watching wrestling for several years after Benoit dropped the World title in WWE lol... boy was I in for a surprise later on

@bigshot0987 I'm much more into wrestling ability than I am mic skills. I love a good promo, but hate when the main eventer only has like 3 moves. Saturn and Storm can do it all: power moves, high flying, and technical wrestling. All around perfect packages.

@bigshot0987 I loved Storm's run in WCW. Always felt Saturn actually was decently pushed and won multiple straps in WWF but it was the crowd who didn't seem to care. Even when he was "punished" with the Moppy angle, that ironically was the most "over" he ever got with the fans in singles action, so it helped him. 🤷♂️
Lance Storm is the #1 underrated wrestler.
Saturn, Sabu, Terry Funk, Taz, Justin Credible, RVD, New Jack… y’all really had to be there 🥲
Saturn was amazing. Epic moveset, legit, Radicalz should have been top tier in WWF. Perry had one of the most epic top rope elbows ever.
Thank you! If you know, you know. Saturn had literally the greatest move set ever imo. He could do it all. Martial arts, high flying, high impact suplexes and throws, amateur wrestling pinning combinations (something NO ONE does anymore), submissions, brawling, etc.
Maybe the most underrated dude ever. I put him right up there with Benoit.
Radicalz were on top for like five minutes, unfortunately their main storylines also featured rock foley austin and hhh so they kinda got forgotten about

@@ComicBookGuy420 WCW was prime Saturn, imo. He got too juiced up in the WWE imo and lost mobility. And I’m sure injuries contributed to that as well. Konnan was another dude with a cool move set back then. Both would use cool pinning combinations like cradles and bridges that basically no one does anymore unfortunately. Shit like that added a realness to the match that has all but been lost today.
I remember Saturn got popular during the big internet boom of the late 90s where everyone had to have a cool personal website. And Saturn would post his movie reviews onto his site. 😆 It was just such an odd thing that worked great with his oddball character.

Much, much respect and love for Perry Saturn! One of my all-time favorite wrestlers. Very versatile in-ring performer. Glad that he's doing well. Also, one of my favorite wrestlers to play as on WCW/NWO Revenge.

@@Oldschool1943 he was fighting drug addiction and was homeless for several years he disappeared during that time his family didn't know if he was alive or dead I've heard he might also have post-concussion syndrome like a lot of wrestlers I guess

he used to live in my town in MN. maybe still does. would see him at the gas station ,freaking cool or what, he would always say hi,. sat in jail for months w/work release, friends would record the Mon. night wars on VHS so I could watch it on my lunch break, Perry of course one of our favorites. Perry, brother, ya helped me thru some shitty times b4 ya ran into your own.

Raven told Billy Corgan about Saturn's plight on an old pod. Corgan's networth is 150 million! He wouldn't sacrifice a red cent. Corgan had the nerve to stay quiet while Raven begged patrons for a couple of bucks. Corgan could have sorted the situation out, then and there. His good deed.

I believe he’s missing teeth. He probably can’t afford dentures, as he’s been dealing with a lot of other health issues.
He suffers from complications of CTE. He was twitching bad a few years ago but other than his missing teeth, he is the same.
i watched interviews years ago from like 2010ish maybe and this man was missing/hiding and just didnt want to be in the public eye... so happy to see him doing good, this man is a legit hero hope he found his new terri/moppy lol he deserves to be happy... il never forget him beating the ish out of a jobber working stiff on sunday night heat to lol you dont test saturn!

Perry looks so good here. I mean... all things considered. Last video I saw surface of him a few years ago, he was definitely on crack or meth and looked horrible. He looks clean and sober here. Glad to see because him and Booker T were my favorite wrestlers in 98-99, and Perry is a legitimate badass hero, and a combat veteran of Mogadishu.
Perry had a tough life after wrestling. He’s a fighter and I’m glad to know he is still with us. I wish him well and hope he keeps on.

Probably the most coherent I’ve seen him, he seems a lot better than he was in previous interviews. He looks quite healthy considering what he’s been through.
Perry was a performer I alwaaays enjoyed watching on WCW. He wasnt one of my favorites but I loved his move set and always paid attention when he wrestled.
