Saturn is a great guest and a truly good hearted guy. So happy to see he's now clean and healthy. The business really did him dirty too so he deserves a second chance so I'm happy to see him doing interviews etc. He'd be great asset to up and coming wrestlers too for learning and advice. If he continues to stay clean, WWE or Aew should hire him to work with young talent. I don't mean in a physical sense necessarily as I know he's not physically able to train others anymore but more just verbal coaching etc

Could watch that over and over and never get tired of it . Underrated in WCW and WWF imo . Glad to see he's doing well.

You can tell that despite the hard times and some bad decisions, Perry is a really bright guy. His speech sometimes struggles to convey it, but you can tell when he talks about understanding the psychology of wrestling and how to work with difficult guys and have them believe that his idea is "their" idea. It's great to see him doing well.

Both come from that billy robinson school of pro wrestling, I see sakuraba more than barnett, he beat 3 gracies through skill and sheer willpower alone, his fight with cro cop he was up and ready to go again after the ref stopped the fight. Haku was only the toughest guy in the bar, sakuraba was the toughest guy in the world.

I am legitimately curious as to how you were able to get in contact with Saturn to book this interview. At this stage in your career you probably have connections but seeing that you were able to book Saturn is a genuine surprise.
some WCW commentator maybe Henan maybe Tenay compared him to a gargoyle. I think that is a badass comparison. I marked when he showed up on Nitro as Raven's enforcer. First saw him in the Summer of 96 on ECW late night t.v. during the House of Pain "Jump Around" promos. glad he's still around when others from his generation didn't make it and knowing he had his struggles makes it even sweeter that he is a survivor.
I watched these couple clips with Saturn and they are great. He comes across as very genuine and down to earth. I don’t know the full details on the story, but I heard he was on very very bad times a little while ago. It’s great to see that he is seemingly doing much better now and hopefully he is with us for a very long time.
Good to see Saturn so lucid and doing well. The last I heard of him was that he was suffering from CTE and full blow, early onset dementia. After listening to a few of these clips, this is not a man suffering from full blown dementia. I don't know what the deal was. Misdiagnosis..overly medicated for other ailments...or what...? But he seems pretty good. There is no doubt that he does/could have CTE, just like the majority of wrestlers will eventually have. ...as they take decades of blows to the head. But he seems really good. Good for him. Of all of the famous wrestlers we watched, Saturn has had some of the highest highs and the lowest lows in his life. It is good to see him appearing to be relatively healthy and happy.

To being an all around worker who could fly an do technical an power moves should have been a World Champion at least once. That's why 123 kid was such an upset against Razor Ramone. That's also why the hurricane vs the rock was wrong in every sense. Hurricane should have been finished if the rock so much as looked at him funny.

I don't know much about his WCW run in general but I don't think it was that dominant compared to his ECW run (could be wrong)
