Regarding the thumb indentation, I put a Babyliss clipper band on my lo pro, that way I can put my thumb anywhere I want without feeling like I need to put my thumb in that one spot, plus it feels secure in my hand.
The lo pro is by far my favorite clipper!

i got the red one and i feel it has more power than the black lo pro, you can feel it, also the blade lever extending to 4.2mm is excellent

Idk ive never really cared about how hot a clipper gets as long as it doesnt get hot within 5minutes you should be fine unless you are a beginner. SPray cool care which you should do before you start any haircut anyway will help it stay cool also. On top of that even if your clipper gets hot you should be done with the skin portion of your fade after like 2 or 3minutes anyway so the client wont feel how hot it is with a guard on anyway. If its really a problem and you love the clipper just buy 2 of them

The truth is you will enjoy, fading, and forgiveness from the wedge blade. However, you might have some difficult lines to remove. That would be best with a fade blade.

theres no best tbh there always a negative, personally i recommend this lo pro and the sc instinct or rebel, try to get 2
JRL 2020 c is the best clipper it's almost silent and 72,000 RPM which is pretty powerful and the blade never get hot,and it says 4 hours run time but actually last 5 hours when it shows low on the led screen it's actually take you 1 hour to cut off ,all around my preference is JRL 2020c and a lot of people agree with me
@@Rezamajedi What Blade do you have on the JRLs? I replaced the taper blade it comes with, with a Wahl senior blade and cutting blade, just curious how you have yours set up
@@Blazefadezz no don't do that you can keep the stock blade or put JRL fade blade on it with the stock cutting blade as it's already come with the best cutting blade I ever used! And it's ceramic blade by the way!

@RUclips BARBER ACADEMY honestly yes because stylecraft/gamma have the same issue with blade getting hot on instinct clipper especially I already replaced faper gold blade and cutters to the black dlc and still gets very hot. But hey in the end is preference right.
@@mannyDification if you got the instinct when it 1st came out return it. Mines dud to but the one they have out now don't trum as much rpms so on the newest one they cut the power bk so it doesn't get real hot
