- It's been a long time since I've customized clippers! Today we're going to be making my very own Seancutshair Tomb45 green Influencer Edition Lo Pro FX. I customized my clippers from one of your old videos. I think this method is probably better because the cool car would just eat the paint . Curious to see how these last.
Mine always hold up pretty well. Never had a cool care problem. Just try and hit the blade not the clipper

Yes but would need a plastic adhesion promoter instead of metal self etching primer

Hey Sean since you like taper blades , do you prefer the shape of SC taper blade or the babyliss taper blade ?
Doesn’t make a difference. I use Babyliss on Babyliss stuff and SC on stylecraft

Nah it wasn’t all that much paint. I’ve done whole car bumpers in the garage with respirators this was nothing 😂

Im at the point in my career where i ask myself “how many new clippers do you actually need” but i guess when you get it free skys the limit.. when my channel gets to that point im just going to give el all away!

I painted mine then used epoxy as a top coat then used clear coat imo with cool care the clear coat isn't strong enough.
That’s definitely gonna be tougher. I haven’t had too many issues with the regular clear though. Holds up as long as some of the original finishes
Can you review the Style Craft “The One Precision” Slim Blade
I did a video on the whole pack of one blades. Don’t have a precision anymore but it is solid!
Last time I painted my clipper they looked good when I was done but as they dried some bubbles formed. That was so annoying
Dang gotta spend even more time on prep than paint
@@Seancutshair yeah facts. And make sure I was waiting in between coats. Plus for some reason it never fully dried
Make sure your weather outside is right and your not mixing different paints, bubbles happen for many reasons also can happen if you over paint it at one time, do 3 to 4 coats at a time in not too hot weather if working outside and you should be fine, also make sure there is no wind drafts if your working outside in the heat or cold

How long do you wait for every coat?
I have some detailed painting videos but usually 15-30 minutes

Yes won’t use self etching primer though. Find a plastic primer
Yo... I have the good stuff. B. Taught me. Air compressor 2 stage catalyst clear high end automotive paint. What would have set these bad boys off to the top would have been klutch or t45 Stencil. Use removable vinyl from Walmart. And a exacto knife. Thats how the koncreate custom clipper was made. Black/clear/decal/red or green or gloss black/ paint. Flash then thin stage clear coats. Sand. Boom.

Yea it is. But it comes out amazing. I can make you up a tomb 45 stencil with removable vinyl for either adding black or reverse stencil. I will DM you a pic of it tomorrow. I'm actually getting good at it.
