A severe thunderstorm moved into Lido Key Beach very quickly on thursday afternoon causing beachgoers to evacuate very quickly. Many people were running away from the storm on foot. Winds were around 50 mph

Those little short storms like that just clear out the parking lot so the locals can go to the beach in the afternoon.
