Love the understated comment at 3:10 - getting fairly close - LOL Hell of a lightning/thunder display there, man. Glad you managed to capture that. EPIC !!
That was wicked! I haven't seen a good storm like that since the mid 1990s. Everytime I move somewhere where there are good storms, nothing happens for years. Soon as I move away, they happen 😞

My grandma had a house on a hill and I remember spending a few weeks at her place during the summer when I was a kid.. my bedroom had an amazing view, but storms like these were a nightmare for me ahaha You could see every lighting and feel the house shaking. I’m still scared to be outside during storms and I blame my fear on those nights, but these videos are pretty cool ahah
When I was a kid and we would get a humdinger storm like this in the middle of the night, I would pull the blankets over my head and hide under the blankets....Otherwise, the lightning would be so bright, I'd see the flashes with my eyes closed. It would usually be a hot Summer night so my room windows would be open and I would be too scared to get up and close them.
I bet when you finally came out from under the blankets you were so hot & sweating like all hell?? I know you were because I used to do the same thing when I was a kid,but as an adult now, I'll stand out there no problems, love it.😉⛈️⛈️⛈️
Thanks for this, I remember recording, then I saw a huge strike, and it was like 3 or 4 individual bolts before the main one showed, and the thunder has the cracking sound

I agree with your neighbour. I live in uk and the last storm I so like this was 1966. since then in northern England they have been garbage. this one is awesome. where is this one bro
I’ve recently discovered that at night during a thunderstorm especially full of thunder lightning rain wind and hail I go out the back with my phone and put on bad romance by lady Gaga and I just sing and watch the lightning it also makes the lightning strike more
I wish the videos for sleep included this awesome thunder and lightening. Most of them, you can hardly hear the thunder. I want that crazy, Georgia/Florida-hour-long thunder… for 10 hours. 😃

March 29th 21. Drove up north about an hour from my house. Left interstate. Saw a big big bolt of lightning. And even some rumble. Drove a few miles to friends got out off my van. Gathered some stuff to put in my buddies truck 1/4 mile away close one. Buddy comes out. Told em. Better move it. That strike was close. He was like yea I heard it and saw the flash. I hopped in his truck. He ran closed his shed door. Ran back 15 ft to the truck. As he closed the door. Lightning at least 4 flashes. Hit the tree just behind his shed. Not even 10 seconds before that. We were 15 20ft tops standing in frt of his shed. Was there like 3 minutes. 8:03 in the a.m. after I drove 56 miles to get there. Lol. Strange morning. But cool. If I could share the pics of tree. It went through one tree and down and hopped to another right next to it.
Great! Relocated against my will from NJ to Bridgeport CT. Back in Jersey used to get storms like this. Where I live now they'd steal the lightning before it hits the ground! Nothing like this. Count 1001, 1002 from the flash of lightening until the thunder. That will tell you how close the storm is. And the more lightening, indicates the atmosphere is becoming more severe and producing tornadoes.
One time when It was raining I tried to go outside and the thunder almost got me it was so close to the door it was scary but luckily I backed up cause it was scary and also these thunderstorms catch me off guard
