    Most intense and active thunderstorm I ever saw with my own eyes was on July 3rd 2001 which was producing in excess of 80 lightning strikes per minute and dropped nearly 2 inches of rain in two hours but this storm you recorded here tops it and then some. Hugely impressive.

      Job 36:27-37:5
      27 “He draws up the drops of water,
      which distill as rain to the streams;
      28 the clouds pour down their moisture
      and abundant showers fall on mankind.
      29 Who can understand how he spreads out the clouds,
      how he thunders from his pavilion?
      30 See how he scatters his lightning about him,
      bathing the depths of the sea.
      31 This is the way he governs the nations
      and provides food in abundance.
      32 He fills his hands with lightning
      and commands it to strike its mark.
      33 His thunder announces the coming storm;
      even the cattle make known its approach.
      1 “At this my heart pounds
      and leaps from its place.
      2 Listen! Listen to the roar of his voice,
      to the rumbling that comes from his mouth.
      3 He unleashes his lightning beneath the whole heaven
      and sends it to the ends of the earth.
      4 After that comes the sound of his roar;
      he thunders with his majestic voice.
      When his voice resounds,
      he holds nothing back.
      5 God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways;
      he does great things beyond our understanding.

    The best and most powerful severe thunderstorm that I've ever seen was on September 16th of 2010 here in NJ where I live. I was still in high school and just got home prior to the storm striking. It was a ridiculously strong storm system that moved in and headed east into NYC. In both Brooklyn and Queens two separate tornadoes were reported. Two people were killed by the storm. One was a man who died when a large tree crashed into his home and the other was a lady who was driving and was killed when another tree landed on her vehicle.

I also experienced a series of 3 destructive thunderstorms that ripped through AZ in July 10-12 of 2021. To anybody reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind may clarity replace confusion. may peace and calmness fill your life.

    This is a classic severe thunderstorm. Very frequent lightning and thunder, hail, very high winds and extremely heavy rain. Storms like this can lead to flash floods, lightning, wind and hail damage.

    Not much beats watching a thunderstorm roll through the suburbs at night

    I very fun to see Lighning strikes on camera but it better to see it in person. I heard that camera doesn't do it justice you have to be in the area or near the area where the storm is to experience the lighning show!
