Spike was the ‘truth seer’ of the series. He always said what everyone else was thinking. That’s why he’s so cool. Spike just doesn’t give a f$&k.

For those who are confused about the guy who had his head cut off, and Spike was there, at the end of the Buffy Series, someone had brought Spike’s soul up into that medallion he was wearing when he died in Buffy. And he was a Ghost for a while. The man who got decapitated was a Necromancer. He was going to switch Spike into Angel’s body so that he would have an ally inside of Wolfram and Hart. Instead, Spike possessed his body and stopped him. But he fought Angel anyways because he was having fun kicking his ass.

I felt like something was missing from Spike in season 7 and I finally realized what it is! The eyeliner!
Most interesting character in that he changed radically over the run of B & A, but he also DIDN'T change. Kind of like a cut gemstone in that he presented different "facets" over the show. Like "vampire" was just one of what he was, not the CORE of himself.

Having studied acting 🎭 I can tell you that Sarah is absolutely fkn incredible… without her perfect comic timing like when Spike is chained in Gile’s bathtub, Sarah toys with that dialogue in a way that another actress would’ve made It CRINGE CITY 🛁⏱ it wouldn’t have been the same show without her… She nails it: and Marsters nails it back; he’s an excellent listener and just as bold & creative; he reacts perfectly as do all the cast members-Best actors in a show… You can put any two Buffy characters in a scene and you get pure lighting in a jar magic!🫙✨
