    Are you kidding me? I have been driving myself insane thinking something is seriously wrong with me. I have had several tests and have been to the ER twice from symptoms that all along were caused by my scalenes? I did these massages and oh my gosh, I can finally feel blood flowing properly and I can take a deep breath again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart

    Thanks so much for these. I've been suffering with chronic migraines/ear ache and a sore throat and to my surprise my osteopath told me it stems from my SCM and scalene muscles. The acute pain has gone but the dull earache/sore throat is still lingering. However I've just tried your stretches and they really helped. Thank you.

    Fantastic. Many, many videos teach releasing the tight spots on the neck or shoulder but rarely do they focus on the base of the front of the neck, let alone going into such exhaustive detail on where to focus, where to avoid etc. Very appreciative, thank you.

      The "other issues" is probably Thoracic Outlet Symptom, of which there are a few types.

    In one video that i saw they said to do this it's like 1.5 years ago and from then till now , it hurts a lot ,i have pain tightness(like cramp), feels like something is stuck, also movement feels locked ( i can't go from up to down as my neck gets locked when i try to go down, left to right is also not free ).
    it hurts at the front side just below the jaw and it extends till the collar bone and at base of skull and also at connection the neck to my shoulders and upper back.
    I have been to so many doctors like ENT, orthopaedic, physical medicine and rehabilitation, neuromedicine , and also physical therapy where they give me exercise along with USG , IFT, TENS, Still, there's no improvement, I have did x-rays, and mri of cervico dorsal spine but there's nothing on it,
    I have no idea what to do now, medicine, exercises, I am doing it all but there's no improvement, I still couldn't figure out what is the problem, please help me someone :(

    Why do I need to stop massaging if I get referral down to the shoulder/arm?
    I’m a massage therapist and I tend to find the trigger point and move my arm, it alleviates the tension but wondering why you think I need to worry about stopping?

    Hi there! This is going to be such a long shot but I’m after some
    Advice. I’ve been watching some of your RUclips videos today for some tips to help ease my pain. I seem to have a complex case and no drs are wanting to help me. I have slipped discs L4/L5, I also have a medical device placed in my back at the bottom called a sacral neuromodulator which is for a condition called Fowler’s syndrome. It’s not well known but it’s basically where my bladder doesn’t work and I have to catheterise. Anyway here’s where it becomes complicated I’ve had to turn that device off as I’m 25 weeks pregnant. In the last month I have developed excruciating pain and can no longer walk, many trips to A&E and the drs say they think I have sacorilitis and that they can’t do anything for me. There’s a bulge at the bottom of my back, they can’t do any scans with the pregnancy and metal work in my body and I’m at my wits end. I have never felt pain like it. I’m really really hoping for some advice on what I can do to help things. I’ve been taking diazepam, amytriptaleen, paracetamol, dihydracodeine and oral morphine which is what I’ve been prescribed. I’ve seen 4 drs, midwives etc and everyone keeps telling me they can’t help me. Is there any advice at all you can give me? Thank you,

    You never use a tool in that area!!! Too many sensitive structures and can cause more issues/damage than it’s is worth. Pads of fingers only, use common sense.

    • @jfoley3484
      @jfoley3484 4 года назад

      As a massage therapist you definitely can use tools if you know what you’re doing, but caution is definitely recommended and should only use tools after you have used your fingers to feel the musculature.
