The instrumentals in this are really unique and make this stand out from other CoT mixes. I like the progression from the intro into the main melody a lot--it goes from mystical to somewhat upbeat and funky, yet retains the beauty of Mitsuda's composition while also doing something different.
There can never be enough CoT mixes. Moar CoT please

I continue to wish for a Chrono Trigger remake. These excellent OCR CT tracks continue to fill me with nostalgia.
Why? Chrono Trigger is perfect as it is, it doesn't need a remake.
They touched it up a bit and released it for the Nintendo DS. I absolutely loved the treatment it got. It's the original game with the touch screen being used for menu/map functions. I know that someday when I want to play it again, for the third time i'll be getting the DS version back out as opposed to playing it on the tv.
Incompetechnicalities The only thing I don't like about the DS version is that they changed Frog's speech, otherwise it's better than the original.
Incompetechnicalities Sad to say the sales weren't too spectacular for Chrono Trigger DS though. It sold decently yes, but not on the level the SNES version did. However one should play CT in any form they can acquire; yes, even the PS1 version that annoyed everyone with its "load times".
necrogenesis1981 I think a lot of folks would disagree with you there. It's not necessarily better than the original in a lot of people's eyes. Some folks think it was a sad cash cow attempt on Square's part (and in some ways it was, as it didn't add anything particularly substantial).

In the vast sea of "Corridors of Time" remixes, this one stands out. Just a little bit. :)

corridor of time has been remixed so many times now just by oc remix alone and damn, each new remix is a great new experience to listen to i love every single one u guys created.

Ah yeah, just suggested that to someone a few minutes before seeing your post. I highly agree, it's amazing.
Egh, maybe I should give it another shot. I tried it and I was extremely unimpressed with it.
Maybe I picked it up in the wrong place since it was a beta? My experience was an opening dungeon with Magus by himself where I had to grind on monsters just to get out of the first area.
My twitch followers recently asked if I could stream that, I may do CT then CT:CE :D
