That alpha-wave in the beginning (the quote-unquote 'droning note' in the back/foreground) put me off the track at first, but I am very glad I stuck with it. Once the melody kicked in, even further use of the alpha-wave stuff worked just fine. Keep up the good work guys.

Nice to see the oft neglected Secret of the Forest get more love. I know the area itself is nothing remarkable by story standards (as it only serves one story purpose anyway), but it's nice when attention is given to one of the more easily forgotten tracks. This track is particularly gorgeous; it makes me think of a peaceful yet lonely forest that rarely gets visitors.

I hear that, though this piece gets a particularly awesome treatment in Mitsuda's CT arranged album: The Brink of Time ... soo good. This rendition is most certainly more gloomy for lack of a better word, but the BoT version is very groovy as opposed to this one.

AngusBull2112 I still need to hear Brink of Time. I recall RPGFan saying you're only buying half a CD's worth of good music as some of the tracks are poorly arranged, according to them.

Very rarely have I bought a CD that I don't skip at least a few tracks. Irrespective of that the music that is good on it is well worth the listen /money. Matter of fact I downloaded BoT before I bought it. The tracks I liked were well worth it.

Very nice. I always loved this track and it rarely gets attention. I am still waiting for a mix that hits those wondrous low notes like the original! The song always had that gravitation for mystery and a strange familiarity. Such a great track to start off their adventure through time in a world they thought they knew.
