Hearing a performance so well done, in tribute to a shared life experience that was unique to each player, and somehow broad enough to suit everyone that embarked on that adventure... that is a rare thing! The music brought that world to life while also making deep emotional connections so that you felt welcome in that world. This is such an excellent performance and the cosplay is legit!

The only modern game that comes close is Omori in my opinion. It's whimsical, funny, deeply depressing, intriguing, compelling, and the music fits the artwork beautifully... all the things I loved about 90's RPG like chrono trigger and earthbound.
'To Far Away Times' is such a timeless masterpiece. Like a warm blanket on a cold winter night. Thank you for such an amazing job with the entire soundtrack!

Absolutely incredible Kara! I listened to a lot of these individually as you posted them and really love to see the finished product of them all coming together. I can't even imagine how much work you and your team put into this, but it really shows. I'm loving the arrangements, your playing of it all perfectly true to the original, the cosplay, the video edits, the sound engineering that brought it all together. If anyone hasn't clicked the links in the vid description, you really should. I especially enjoyed the making of page. I was thinking you were playing some electric organ like a Hammond or something, but this is like a legit full on pipe organ with all of its tuning woes and all. It's about doing the right thing but saying goodbye to your friends forever knowing that everyone has a important role to fill throughout history. You both worry and miss them but their marks across time are unmistakable bringing a sense of comfort but loneliness and longing for those days to return. Such melloncoly washes over me every time. Sure we can replay the game, but it's something that must stay the same in the past (and future) at the end. Having both lost a family member and moving across the ocean in the late 90's it hits close to home, but also helped give the courage to move forward. I was miserable and depressed missing my first girlfriend and my friends, having trouble making new connections when this game fell into my lap. This, among many other reasons, is why Chrono Trigger is my favorite video game of all time.

it has to do with the pipes being out of tune with each other, that piece was probably one of the last played in a long day of recording in the heat. Organ pipes are very temperamental to changes in temperature!
I have never seen anyone perfome all of Chrono Trigger!😍 It's wonderful. I listen to it every day because it's so comfortable. It's also good to hear a reproduction of the laughter in "Confusing Melody."😂 The dog is so cute, sleeping and waking up!💕 As a Japanese, I'm proud that Japanese game music is loved overseas as well!🇯🇵⛩

I once went to Disneyland and spent all day riding all the roller coasters and rides and attractions, and it didn't come close to the roller coaster of emotions I felt while listening to this all in one go. A roller coaster never made me tear up like you did when you brought it all home after Last Battle and all the way in to To Far Away Times.

Absolutely incredible Kara! I listened to a lot of these individually as you posted them and really love to see the finished product of them all coming together. I can't even imagine how much work you and your team put into this, but it really shows. I'm loving the arrangements, your playing of it all perfectly true to the original, the cosplay, the video edits, the sound engineering that brought it all together.

It's about doing the right thing but saying goodbye to your friends forever knowing that everyone has a important role to fill throughout history. You both worry and miss them but their marks across time are unmistakable bringing a sense of comfort but loneliness and longing for those days to return.
Such melloncoly washes over me every time. Sure we can replay the game, but it's something that must stay the same in the past (and future) at the end.
Having both lost a family member and moving across the ocean in the late 90's it hits close to home, but also helped give the courage to move forward. I was miserable and depressed missing my first girlfriend and my friends, having trouble making new connections when this game fell into my lap. This, among many other reasons, is why Chrono Trigger is my favorite video game of all time.

I can't help but noticing something odd in boss battle1. Is there microtonal thing going on for special effect?
it has to do with the pipes being out of tune with each other, that piece was probably one of the last played in a long day of recording in the heat. Organ pipes are very temperamental to changes in temperature!

We love seeing all the Japanese comments. We always want Kara to be known more in Japan but never know how to make that happen. We tried uploading to Nicovideo but didn't have much success. I think her cosplay and videos of her performing would be well received by Japanese people.🇯🇵 It's common to see other channels with Japanese in the title and song titles to make it easier for Japanese to find them. I once went to Disneyland and spent all day riding all the roller coasters and rides and attractions, and it didn't come close to the roller coaster of emotions I felt while listening to this all in one go. A roller coaster never made me tear up like you did when you brought it all home after Last Battle and all the way in to To Far Away Times.
