30 years later and Chrono Trigger is still one of the best JRPGs ever made.
Mmmmm, maybe I should play it. I feel like I had it for the DS but never finished it and can't remember much about that time.
For me, it's the best game ever, even after all these years, and I'm pretty sure a lot of people feel the same. This is the power of Chrono Trigger
Most JRPG's were too slow paced for me so I never got into them but Chrono Trigger was fuckin amazing! SNES and Square were the best!

Awesome! Music can be frustrating, but it can be super rewarding as well! A lot of folks get dissuaded by age, but if you're 37 now, by the time you're 60 you'll have 23 years experience; still a pretty dag gone long time to master the craft.
600AD is a song stuck in my head for over 25 years now.
Right!? It's not the flashiest, but its just so tied in with the game, and has just a beautiful slow melancholy to it! :)
Secret Of The Forest , 600 AD , Corridors Of Time , Chrono’s Opening Theme , and Battle are probably the most mesmerizing ost’s in CT & CC

When I was 12 I'm 37 now
I can see the pendulum swinging and hear the kittens meowing in the house every time I come back to this video. It's my favorite thing to listen to when I want to decompress and time travel 30 years in the past to when I was a kid playing this game.
This is truly remarkable piano talent.
Nearly two decades since I last played this game, the music still has that timeless effect on me.

I'm American and same here! I didn't know anyone who played games like FFVI or Chrono Trigger. But after living in Japan I have met many and it's nice! My Japanese friend has a huge tattoo on his arm of the final boss in FFVI!

Chrono Trigger is my favorite game of all time. Im 30 now and I still go back and play through the game once a year to relive the memories. I still know every item location in the game. Time travel always fascinated me as a kid and the music and story to this game is some of the best thats ever been done and still near unmatched to this day. I had it on Snes and PS1. Did every ending, max lvled all my characters (magus takes the longest), beat lavos solo with each character. This game is my childhood. Thank you for the beautiful medley. It brings back so many happy memories hearing you play. I hope life treats you to something special.
I would always hum Chronos theme to calm my son to sleep when he was a newborn. It was a joy to play this game with him when he learned to read. Then to see his face filled with accomplishment when he was able to beat it on his own. These songs will always hold great memories, from my youth to the magic of seeing my son experience the same elation! Thank you for these beautiful covers.

Yet it feels as if Crono has been tossed into the End of Time where it has become nothing more than a memory in the hearts of those who it touched.

Everytime I find a Chrono Trigger compilation, my favorite track changes. In this case, the Trial theme at 26:00 is so well done here, reminds me of a Disney villian's theme.
