- This is Cosmosky Orchestra, the orchestra which performs music from videogames and incidental music.
*incidental music: music which is played in movie, drama, and theater.
Our Name, Cosmosky, is an coined word by putting the word "cosmos"(by meaning as expression of harmony and discipline)and a word "sky" together (pronounced as cosmo-sky).
We would like to present you our "CHRONO CROSS Another Story" from our latest revival concert at OLYMPUS HALL HACHIOJI(Tokyo) on October 12th 2015.
We are an unofficial orchestra and we greatly thank PROCYON STUDIO CO., LTD. and Septima Ley Co., Ltd. for permitting us to upload this video on RUclips and deliver it to you.

クロノクロスを超える体験をさせてくれるゲームには数多く出逢いましたが、このゲーム音楽を超える作品にはまだ出会ったことありません。
この愛に溢れたコメント欄が、いい作品だって証だよね( ⸝⸝⸝⁼̴́⌄⁼̴̀⸝⸝⸝)
自分の好きな作品がこんなにたくさんの人に愛されてるって、なんて言ったらいいか分からないけど簡単に言うと、すごい嬉しい！
光田さんの曲はなんでこんなにも心に響くんだろう。自然と涙が出てくる。
ゲーム音楽の凄いのはみんなが共に過ごした世界だから。こんなにたくさんの人に共通する世界（場所）なんてどこにもない。愛と勇気と希望、失敗とチャレンジ。これを聴いて自分の旅を思い出すんだよ。

How amazing is it that us gamer's find such passion in the music in these games that decades later we're searching for them
And finding full on orchestral medleys to boot! You already know without any doubt; the maestro himself took heavy inspiration from Cross in the same way the rest of us did. I can't believe they actually added the "boinngggg" sound effect instrument from Termina. That's straight up amazing!
It's not that, it's that during the first 2 decades of gaming, most of the best Japanese composers were hired to create music for a MASSIVE amount of video games and a lot of those songs are completely out of this world, musically. Such as the Pokémon battle theme song, the entire Zelda ocarina of Time sound track is a pure masterpiece and 1000 others

素晴らしい、伝説の超オーケストラ。
観客の拍手がガチなのがよくわかる、観に行きたいね。
全くゲームをやらなくなってしまった30才です。14年くらいやってないです。
音楽を聞くだけで当時の記憶が思い出されるというのは比喩ではなく、
良い経験をさせてもらったのだと感謝しています。
今のゲームを嗜んでいる方々もそういうゲームに出会えることを祈っています。

Just imagine a Chrono Cross remake in the style of the new FFVII Remake. All of this music makes my skin tingle and hairs stand. So many beautiful childhood memories.
Final Fantasy Remake wasn't that good and it might get worse. This is the music of Mitsuda. It's timeless.
Was thinking the same thing. Wish the radical dreamers rerelease of chrono cross featured an updated soundtrack at least :/

We were envious growing up that you all got all the good games. These games are dear to my heart. After Final Fantasy 10 though the quality of Japanese role playing games went downhill. I’m glad to see Japan is returning to good form. My biggest issue right now is that the West is censoring Japanese games over here and in Japan.

やはりこの楽団の演奏は良いですね。クロスのテーマである「あの時、ああしていれば未来は変わったのか」的なことは、初見の子どもの時は分からず。大学生になってもう一度やって少し意味が理解できるようになり、改めて感動。30半ばの大人になってリマスターをやって、今までの人生でのいろんなことを思い出した。この演奏を聴きながら、あの時ああしていればと考えながら。

Chrono Cross is so underrated
Many games form the late 90s are underrated, CC is just one of them.
Its the "social web game" plague causing people shifted to network gaming and abandon great stories like this.
Eh, Chrono Cross' story wasn't the best. The plot was convoluted, motivations were muddled or underdeveloped, the original characters were killed off for no reason other than to be emo, etc.
I'd prefer the stories of Undertale or Last of Us any day.
Cyber Jackalope I loved the plot.
When the dragons revealed their true intentions, I was shocked. I still think that was one of the best and most unexpected plot twists in gaming.
I loved Trigger (who wouldn't?), but I honestly prefer Cross. It hit me so much harder than Trigger, and has stayed with me much more.
+Grey Aria Totally agree. I never liked Trigger that much though, but I really love Cross. One of my favorite games ever.
It took me years to really appreciate this game. As a huge fan of Trigger, I was hoping for and anticipating a more direct sequel, and that got in the way of really appreciating the beauty of this game. But the Dream Team didn't make a game just for fanservice--they made a passion project with incredible, immersive depth. Sure, I think there are very valid criticisms about jarring narrative pacing and unnecessary characters that add very little to the plot. But at the end of the day, through a combination of visual art, music, and narrative, certain games create lingering emotional experiences that pull you back into them again and again, not unlike the interwoven time streams of the Chrono universe.

That's the most touching part of the game. I almost cried... That dialog, that song...
It reminds me more of Dario actually.
Grey Aria the past, present, and future, represented as clotho, lachesis, and atropos (the moirai).. in the interlaying worlds, another and home, the existence of one world provides answer to problems exist in the other. This dialogue perhaps explains why the statue of the moirai (clotho, lachesis, and atropos) located in chronopolis, the same location as the dead sea in another world.

言い方は悪いけど、名曲はゲーム音楽であってもこうやって残っていくんだなぁ。創られた世界に合わせた音楽だからこそ、現代では感じ難くなった自然への畏敬や畏怖といった感情を感じさせてくれる。このオケの壮大さと合わせて最高と言う他ない。
