Prisoners of Fate (06:40) is a song that makes me almost cry everytime I hear. The song itself it's already perfect, but more than that it makes me remember the scenes from the game and the explanation of who is Serge really. Chrono Cross is a very sad master piece!

I could never place it above Chrono Trigger, but it is definitely one of the best. My main problem with it, like most people's, was that it wasn't as good of a sequel as it could have and many felt should have been. However, it's still a great game in its own light. I just wish they'd tied up all the loose ends. Instead, it felt like they created so many more. Maybe it was all lost in translation, but they left out a lot about how Crono and friends got overpowered in the first place or how the hell Porre became some giant military entity. In fact, if I remember correctly, Porre was gone by 1000 AD, wasn't it? Then there's the whole thing with Magus being originally planned to be involved, but then they just cut him out almost entirely. Lucca's letter to Kid kinda hints at "janus" being around, but that's it. Chrono Cross just asked too many questions and didn't answer enough. I guess that's what Chrono Brake was supposed to be for, but we never got it, so we'll never know...
***** CC has never been a sequel to CT. Perhaps you're one of those people who misunderstood the creator's intention. And if you follow the story in CC without comparing it to CT, you'll already have all the answers.
I listened to every version available on RUclips and was mostly dissatisfied with interpretations. Some people just can't hear the marvel of Mitsuda's work that "happened" in and for CC. There's a clear difference between fanboying and utter respect. It's easy to make a cover, it's not easy to breath life anew. And I was so afraid to hear what Cosmosky did with Scars of Time, so afraid. But it turns out Cosmosky understood the song. The interpretation is top notch, the play with silence wonderful; the solitude is here, and so is the striving, scars and magic of adventuring likewise. Thanks for respecting the original.

This is absolutely one of the best Chrono Cross medleys out there, and one of the most beautifully performed pieces of music I've ever heard in my life. Every time I listen to Scars of Time I get chills, but this brought tears to my eyes. There's something so haunting & ethereal about hearing some of these melodies performed by a choir as opposed to the instruments that usually play them.. Amazing job. I would love to see this live.

I've always wanted to know what Cross music would sound like in concert. It's even more incredible than I imagined. The use of the choir is phenomenal--not just on obvious pieces like "Garden of the Gods", "Grief", and "Radical Dreamers", but also on "Prisoners of Fate" (and I thought that song couldn't make me weep any more than it did!), "Scars of Time", and "Time of the Dreamwatch". I also loved including lesser known bits like "Beginning of the Dream" and "Arni Village" (so very wistful!). And the humor of including "Nap" as well. The version of "Between Life and Death" is epic, better than the game's, the electric guitar and overall instrumentation on "Magical Dreamers" is jaw-droppingly good, and while I wish "At the Dream's Shore ~ Another World" had been in it, at least we got to hear some of it in "Time of the Dreamwatch". But by far the best part was the brilliant move to have the choir vocalize "Radical Dreamers" during the Chrono Trigger main theme portion of "Dreamwatch", as well as "Scars of Time". I gasped and burst into tears at the beauty of it, and was bawling by the end. Perfect, epic...just what the soundtrack to a movie version of Cross would sound like. (Let's hope it cut out a bunch of the characters and helped make the plot make more sense. :P )

That section with the choir at 11:31 is incredibly beautiful. Sounds kind of asynchronous, but really isn't. It's Radical Dreamers harmonized with the Dream that Time Dreams. And then the drums start *another* melodic line with the Dream that Time Dreams - time-shifted :) I had no idea they could be blended together like that...

I love Chrono Cross but hated I couldn't hear the violin run at 5:38. It was most likely only given to the first chair or first few violins. But something you have to know is you have to do what sounds best which means change what the composer or arr. wrote. It's not a major change but they should have given the part to more violinist. Would have made a big difference and would have sounded more like it should've. But still enjoyed the song.
Incredible. I am so glad you did a medley dedicated to just Chrono Cross rather than mashing both Trigger and Cross together. I think both have amazing soundtracks and deserve their own individual medleys. Whilst all of it was outstanding, I particularly like Arni Village and Magical Dreamers. I love Chrono Cross but hated I couldn't hear the violin run at 5:38. It was most likely only given to the first chair or first few violins. But something you have to know is you have to do what sounds best which means change what the composer or arr. wrote. It's not a major change but they should have given the part to more violinist. Would have made a big difference and would have sounded more like it should've. But still enjoyed the song.

I am so glad you did a medley dedicated to just Chrono Cross rather than mashing both Trigger and Cross together. I think both have amazing soundtracks and deserve their own individual medleys.
Whilst all of it was outstanding, I particularly like Arni Village and Magical Dreamers.

The battle theme sounds a lot more epic that in the game.

The Wind, Star and Waves is the best music in Chrono Cross game and one of most epic moment of the all times in games!

The flashback was too strong and happy, I cried. This is one of the most amazing music vids I've ever seen. As a musician, I also feel like this was the perfect tribute to a fantastic OST.

One of most incredible and moving pieces I've ever seen. Some movements seemed awkward, but I CRIED listening to this...My favorite game of all time being performed like this just pierces the heart like nothing else can.
I like the ending of scars of time when the choir comes in.
I loved it all. Though i was hoping they would had played the song that plays during the fight with the moon dragon. I think it was called Dragon God.
