Hello! Tetrimino is back in full throttle!

We decided to cover two songs from one of my personal favorite games, Kingdom Hearts! This is a mash-up cover of "Simple & Clean" and "Dearly Beloved". In order to spice things up a bit, we've chosen to take a more "groovy" approach to both of these songs.
One of the main things that this game has taught me is to value friendships. Even though we all may have some "darkness" in our hearts, whether that may symbolize our deepest troubles or the fights and disagreements we may have with our friends, what matters most is that we hang onto the "light" that keeps us together. As Sora said, "My friends are my power!"

All I want is this bassline playing over my entire life.
At the start of this video i was like "kingdom hearts grove, what could this be?" For the first 30 seconds they were holding back their potential and i was "ok cool cover not really a unique composition" but then 0:28 happened.
Holy shit this sounds like if Smash Bros. had a Kingdom Hearts Remix. Nice job! Keep up the good work!

Forever a classic. I remember when I first discovered this band.
its odd to think that such a crummy pop song has managed to give me the chills, but somehow the combination of nostalgia for the game, a truly heart warming story, and this wonderful arrangement has given me goosebumps all over.
Please tell me I'm not the only person who cried because of this music. So beautiful.

Incredible. This is hands down the best Kingdom Hearts cover I have ever heard. The way you make it fast paced and catchy, but still make it feel like the original song is amazing. You guys have some serious talent! :D

I'm not a huge fan of revealing my last name publicly on RUclips, but yup it's Nachtigall (German for nightingale as you mentioned). My dad and I would whistle together constantly when I was a kid just so he could compare us to those lovely birds xD

I always love Kingdom Hearts covers due to my obsession with that series. Normally it sucks that people only cover these two songs from the series, but you guys dominated with a very groovy cover!

Also, props to the violinist for those slight appoggiature here and there, really adds to the groovy feel of this song IMO. I dunno how difficult it is to play this but it was really cool!
Nice work on the arrangement everyone, it sounds so right, so natural. It's always so awesome when you hear a remix totally different from the original, in a way you'd never imagine, and it sounds so good ^^

This is truly the biggest step up in every aspect you guys have had, bassist back and has great feel for band playing, creative medley making, smooth violin and piano solos, just really the best you guys have so far.
If there was a kingdom hearts themed track in a mario kart game - this would be the soundtrack playing in the background during a race. Yeah, I know that idea is absolutely weird and probably would never happen, but that's what popped into my mind as the groove came in. And I really like that groove. Awesome work as always :)

Incredible! Simple and Clean - to - Dearly Beloved was the coolest transition ever. Those piano and violin solo lines had awesome mind-melting melodies, and the bass and drum solos were funkadelic and groovin' to the max. Nice work, the lot of you!
This is the second song I've heard by you guys and I love it by the way especially considering the fact that Kingdom Hearts is my favourite franchise of all time and I'm in love with you guys whatever you're doing keep doing it because you're doing it right.
I feel like this should be the bgm for one of the new KH-original stages in Kingdom Hearts 3. It's fantastic!

Kingdom Hearts is something I've always held near and dear to my heart, and the same goes with its music. And you guys definitely did the songs justice. When I heard the switch to Dearly Beloved from Simple and Clean that just did it for me. As a massive-mega-ultra final form level Kingdom Hearts fan I can truly say job well done, and please keep them coming.

5 years later and the story repeats itself, came here from OCR and i am not dissapointed in the slightest, this is just peak perfection, and it almost brought a tear to my eyes when i first listened to it, KH is a franchise i am new to but one that trapped me like a moth to a lamp, awesome work and just hope 2020 hasn't hit you all too hard, good luck and keep on grooving

Agreed on that. It's my favourite bass, hence why it's the only model I currently own so far. That is unfortunate about the neck, though. Rickenbackers are one of those basses that needs to be in top condition to bring out its full potential. There's nothing better than the punch of a trebled out Rickenbacker, I tell ya Also excuse my stalker tendencies but I noticed you like progressive rock! I should've known with how you construct your bass lines. It's a noticeable blend of Geddy Lee, Chris Squire, Jeffrey Hammond + some jazz fusion influences. That's at least the vibe I got, which is a darn good thing in my opinion!
Awesome!! Thanks for stalking me... haha. I do have some Rush and Yes covers on my channel with the Rick... Prog Rock is definitely one of my favorite genres and plays a major role in how I approach writing bass lines. But yeah... I would play my Rick a loooot more if it was in good shape. I'm most likely going to sell it, then track down another one some day...
