You can find every single horse on this list at the Little Creek River area. Set up a camp and reload until you get the horse you need. I even got the Hungarian, American Paint, and Nokota horses in this area. You can also approach slowly from a distance after calling out to the horse. I did all of this during Chapter 2. Hope this helps anyone :)
You might get them all at little creek but you’d be exceedingly lucky to in a short space of time. Most players will waste days if they try only one location, you have a much better chance of you move around probable spawn points.

So I Rode up there and found one exactly where they said it would be...no problem. Trying to find another one in the same location for the Horseman 10 challenge...BIG PROBLEM! (Still hanging out in chapter 2)

That is unlucky - normally they’re as common as mud. Unfortunately that’s the problem with rng with the game, sometimes what you want won’t spawn. Best you can do is save and reload to try to reset the spawns in a spot it’s likely to spawn.

Got all the horses in chapter 2 with not too much effort. Big Valley only got me the Appaloosa and the American Standardbred and nothing else. The Nokota and Tennessee Walker can be found just north of Blackwater along the beach in West Elizabeth (South-East of the Lone Mule cabin). The American Paint can be found in Ambarino (West of the Mysterious Hill House)
Thank you for this guide, saved me a lot of time again. I found all the horses quite easy and fast. If the horse was not in the location i saved and reload and after 1-2 reloads the horse you want, spawns. I found that is more easy to spawn the horse in the morning. As for the hungarian halfbread i found a location on youtube by accident, is near flatneck station,in the area with the stranger mission with the first treasure map,and is a flaxen chestnut. I found him at my first try, but if you dont find him just reload, it will spawn, depends on your luck,hope this help. Tkx again for this guide, and your other guides, they are gold ❤️.
The Hungarian Halfbred also spawns right outside Emerald Ranch. At least it definitely does in Chapter 4, but I can't confirm for sure whether it spawns there in other chapters. Give it a shot, though. I found mine literally right on top of the right side of the 'D' in "Emerald Ranch," (not Emerald Station,) right outside the little graveyard there. Initially I had heard that it spawns just southeast of the 'N' in "Hanover", and west of the triangle formed by the railroad tracks north of Emerald Station and I was on my way there, but I didn't even have to go that far. Try that spot too.
For me, I got the Hungarian as the first one while looking for a Kentucky Saddler in the heartlands. The one that took a long time for me was the Paint. The location shown in the video for the paint is not its main spawn area; I think the author got lucky. They spawn west of the Mysterious Hill Home, but even there I had no luck. So I figured I would try to get into West Elizabeth where many more spawns are, using the chapter 2 mission where you rescue the reverend. I didn't even have to get to W.E. because I found spawns of the paint at the base of the train trestle right away!
I've found every breed except for the mustang in the valley between Watson cabin and the black bone forest, all in about a half hour, just by running up and down with my horse from one side to the other. Once you get to know the spawns you can just run away and run back and there's a good chance there'll be a different breed in one of the spawns.
If you don't see a Nokota spawn anywhere. Just sleep for the next morning at Lone Mule Osten. There's should be a couple of horse along with the Nokota spawning near the river
Easiest way to do this as Arthur is to get a bounty in the great plains. Then kill all pinkertons if they pursue and set up a campsite. It'll keep you in the great plains. Sleep for the longest time possible and when you wake up bounty hunters will be looking for you in the area. Kill all except one of the bounty hunters and get him to follow you around as you look for the horse. No pinkertons spawn while bounty hunters are in the area and they are way easier to deal with than the police. If the damn Halfbred just wont spawn (took me like 10 tries) lose or kill the bounty hunter and set up camp again repeating the process. Eventually the horse will be yours! Works on 1.00
This may be useful for some of you: I found the Hungarian Half-bred at the Little Creek River in chapter 5. I had already had the other horses tamed except American Paint and Hungarian Half-bred, and the Hungarian spawned right after I tamed the American paint in the same location.
i used reverand svenson mission to get blackwater area it was so much simplier istow svenson to your horse go to great plains find one tame one go back to horseo overlook complete the mission challenge is done final and the most important step take your legend of the east outfit and play poker at saint denis
Legend of the East Outfit for Arthur accomplished!! In the video the Nokota is already on the run. A good spawn for Nokota is the shoreline of Flatiron Lake South East of Lone Mules Stead. I found 2 there. I spooked the first one by riding straight at it and it swam into the lake never to be seen again. After a few game reloads I found a second there, and had learned to approach it riding along the shore line.
I did this same thing just now the first one I got was the Hungarian halfbreed and the Kentucky saddler afterwards I tried using herbivore bait to hopefully bait horses in and a perfect moose spawned
@@leeduke9518 I looked for them there, and everywhere, I finally found one near the trapper by Owenjila, had my laso sights on him and chased it into a grizzly bear, then in the chaos of that it despawed I think, couldn't find it anywhere, so I re-did the ch 2 mission and carried the good reverend into great plains and got one there.
DUDE! I couldn't find the Hungarian near the tracks by Emerald Ranch, tried to redo the mission when you save Reverend Swanson from getting ran over by the train but messed it up (long story.) I ended up doing the Chelonian mission where you bring Jamie to Mary at the Valentine station, and took him with my on horseback all the way to West of Blackwater. Found the Hungarian and as I was breaking it in, Jamie hops on what I thought was my horse (Silver Dapple Pinto Missouri Foxtrotter) and it somehow got duplicated!! All that frustration really paid off, I have my broken in level 4 Foxtrotter and now have an identical level 1 sitting in the stables if anything ever happens. I couldn't believe my eyes, the Silver Dapple Pinto is my favorite horse in the game by FAR!
Damn I feel so lucky. I pulled up the the little creek river area for the first horse on the list in this video and there were 2 Hungarian halfbreds just chilling there.
After hours I found it kinda near creek river but IN Valley View on the 11th line off the trail. ( the spawns for the horses themselves didn’t seem random) Version 1.1.9

Damn. I sell my horses at bond level 4... I found a Hungarian Halfbred in the Heartlands near thr Oil Fields. Didnt know it was rare since it was my second horse and I sold it.
You sir, are a genius! I got all but the Hungarian Half bred in about 30 minutes and spent the next 5 hours trying to find the Hungarian. No luck. I checked out every video, every reddit post, nada. This is my third playthrough and I didn't have any trouble with this before. All I needed was the HHB and I'd have 10 health in Ch.3. I saw your workaround and honestly thought it would have probably either been patched out or simply a huge pain in the rear to pull off. Went to the Strawberry stables, shot the barn, got a vandalism charge and went across into New Austin leading a single lawman with me. It took me a minute to find the HHB, in fact I had to lasso 3 horses to get the HHB since I couldn't use eagle eye or my binoculars. Once I got him it took about 10 seconds to break him and since only 1 lawman was shooting me I only had to pop a few tonics. Ended up riding out of Blackwater with a 5 dollar bounty and a complete Horseman 10. It was very easy and there were no health shredding gangs of Blackwater lawmen to make it difficult. Just a single Strawberry lawman plinking away at me with his revolver. I think as long as I kept that lawman near enough so he couldn't pursue me and I didn't let the "Wanted" status expire i could have probably gone and picked the herbs i needed as well. Spent the whole day trying to get the standardbred. Gave up and went hunting with Charles and found a Hungarian halfbred! He was already my favourite character besides Arthur before this but now hes just my god.

Got the law on my tail, crossed the river... bam no Pinkertons and the subject of my ire grazing gently in the field! It even ran towards the river! I actually broke him in West Elizabeth as the search ended! Ahhhhhhhahahaahaha!
There's hungarian halfbreeds in little creek river.. Funny thing is, I got the hungarian near Beecher's hope.. Then i went to the little creek to search for other horses, then there are 5 hungarian halfbreeds there and it keeps spawning.
You can get them in the unrestricted areas of the map, it’s just in my experience they are very rare and you’re lucky if it happens. My advice is to get all the other horses first as shown and if you’re lucky the Hungarian Halfbred will show up in one of these spots. If one hasn’t shown by then I’d always recommend going to Beechers hope as they are very common there - otherwise it’s very possible to spend 3-4hours searching elsewhere and have no luck.
@@Jimbatron I know the issue.. This game stops spawning horse breeds everywhere ONCE you enter horseman 10.. After you get the specific horses they will spawn everywhere again.. That being said I just got mine as Arthur near the edge of great plains in a specific set of trees (by scouting the area from the other side + reloading the game to spawn them). I didn't do the glitch and just rushed through it, lassoed it short range to quickly mount/break it.. Luckily I escaped great plains without getting detected by Pinkertons (through luck). They spawned right when I was about to exit the main road in that same direction, but I was able to find a different route.. Did this before doing the rescuing Sean mission which is marked near Blackwater.
Got everything first try, even the Hungarian halfbred (it was just hanging around with morgans at little creek river) except for the appaloosa by the Wapiti Reservation. I found a million of them there when hunting and tracking the Legendary Wolf, but as soon as I’m looking for it, it’s nowhere to be seen. Typical
I spend almost 4 hours straight still can't find nakota and American paint. This is my last challenge to get legend of the east outfit for arther. Pls help🙏
Unfortunately there is a random element to it. So you just have to go around revisiting locations. Sleep to advance time or fast travel using the train to revisit locations and generate new spawns. For the American Paint try by Little Creek River or South of Wapiti, for the Nakota, try east of Fort Riggs or South of Wapiti. Sleep to advance to the time of day shown in the video.
This will be the forth day and 1000th attempt of trying to find the American Paint. I have Search several area and no luck, I will also mention that i have found 12 Halfbreds in my search so wish me luck. Edit: Welp I give up. No legend of the east for me.
ive found everything except the Paint, at this point im convinced the game locks you from being able to get Horseman 10 with Arthur, ive look west of the mysterious hill home, ive look near the creek north of strawberry and ive even looked close to the trapper above the "V" in Hanover, where apparently there is meant to be a guaranteed heard of Paint, im close to giving up, the game hasnt spawned a Paint on my map for a week now
@Dar brother, if you remember the mission you did when Javier took you to rob a house north of Valentine, the one where the people in the house spoke funny, that house has a paint hitched up right outside, otherwise if you dint find it there look for a youtube video that shows you how to glitch out of the map, you'll know it's the right video if it tell you to go into a cave somewhere north if Strawberry. In that cave you gonna have to drink a bunch of moonshine to get drunk. Find that video, glitch out if the map and start looking for horses, the first few you fins should be American paints, hope this helps
Is the America Paint only available after completing a certain part of the game? I'm doing a red run and am only in chapter 2 but trying to get as many challenges completed as I can before I progress and Arthur gets sick (was so fed up of his energy drain and time wasting dizzy spells lol) Just really struggling to find a paint... Anywhere!
Afaik they are all available from CH2, but it’s quite likely at least one will be a pain to get to spawn, and there’s an element of luck. Consider doing some other tasks and coming back again later.
Don't shoot the stablemaster in the leg or else he can't run and get help, or at least it's gonna take a long time. If you shoot his barn he'll run and get cops for vandalism. That seems to work much better for me. Just a tip. Do whatever works for you though!
Clearly it can do because the video shows it. Obviously which horses you encounter might vary slightly due to the random element in spawns. So you might find two horses in swapped positions shown the video. These spawn points should allow you to find all horses however.
@@Jimbatronif it can then the spawn rate is very low. Because I’ve not seen that horse in that area even after 9-10 times of trying. Then I’ve collected it from little creek river.
@@subat682 little creek river is on the general list of locations to be fair. But it’s not my experience that it’s particularly rare. Sometimes things just don’t show up and you get a bad run of random results. As long as you do a round trip of all the locations shown you should be able to get every horse.
the anti-pinkerton spawning thing works brilliantly but i spent 20 minutes in the great plains and couldnt see a single horse the entire time. Is that just unlucky or has it been patched
@@Jimbatron I must admit I'm having the same problem. I've been all over the great plains and have found no horses on either occasion. Bison is all. After a while the pinkertons spawn as well. Any other locations where a Hungarian can be found?
@@michaeltattersall6766 occasionally to the east or north of emerald ranch but it’s rare. Or try the far south west corner of big valley past lake Owanjila. I’ve seen them there but very rarely compared to Beechers Hope where it’s about 50/50 whether one spawns for me.

Every time i go for the Hungarian Halfbred absolutely zero horses of any kind spawn then the lawman i lead along despawns and im surrounded on all sides by Pinkertons On the flip side of my luck i managed to get the Few Spot Appaloosa on my first sighting so
Dude I found a Kentucky Saddler, Morgan, Appaloosa, Nokota, Mustang, American Paint, and Hungarian Halfbred while trying to find one American Standardbred.... Edit: all in the same spot btw
Easiest way to get the Hungarian Halfbred in my opinion is to replay the mission "Without Sin". Once you have Swanson on the back of your horse just go to the area in the video (you won't get law on you), if it isn't a halfbred cancel the mission and try again. Took me a handful of tries before I got one.
That’s a good alternative way to do it. It’s certainly safer, the only thing I would say is that it’s probably not as quick because it’s quite a slow mission.
Sitting here watching this while riding in cinematic mode to wapiti and I look up and a damn bull moose I’ve been trying to find for days just HAPPENS to be crossing the road in front of me damn near gave me a heart attack.
@@Fascinating- I was definitely in chapter 3, determined to get the Legend of the East outfit with him, which I did! 🏆 I personally only interneted each horse’s general location and prayed they were there. If not, I reloaded and prayed to the gaming gods even more. I didn’t go once to Blackwater and New Austin.
@@jeremiaszu6774 well it’s just kind of irritating you have to find another one. Not sure if you have seen the wider guide linked at the end of the video, but it orders all the tasks for 100% so that you do them when the right challenges are active etc.
This was done in Chapter 4 I’m not sure about Chapter 2 but I would expect so as animal spawns broadly don’t seem to change that much. It seems particularly critical to turn up at mid day in sunshine to get the mustang to spawn but there is still a randomisation to it. So I wouldn’t keep trying to get the mustang here all day long, it’s better to rotate across these locations getting all the horses. If the one you want doesn’t turn up the first time you’ll probably be able to cross another off your list. If you’re in Chapter 2 it is obviously hugely helpful to have upgraded Arthur’s tent to unlock fast travel to quickly alternate between these locations and break all the horses.
Rockstar are sons of bitches. When it's time to look for specific animals, those specific animals are "magically" very hard to find. The game is programmed like that to expend durability. So don't trigger your hunt lists before getting all the animals in advance. For horses, you don't have the choice sadly. It took me a full week to get the last one, the American Paint... I went everywhere and NOTHING, sleep, save, reload, no matter what... Total BS.
If that’s the case, the trick is to ride slow enough so they keep up with you. Even if it means they hit you a few times - but if you have tonics with you to swig you’ll be fine. But if you outrun them and they disappear the Pinkertons spawn who are far more deadly

Other possible locations to check are due north and south of Emerald Ranch. Whilst you can find the Hungarian Halfbred, in the unrestricted parts of the map, it's very rare. I wouldn't recommend trying, you could spend hours hunting and not get one. They are however incredibly common near to Beecher's Hope on the Great Plains, but that area is still being patrolled by Pinkertons. However, the Pinkertsons won't spawn if you have law pursuing you from Big Valley. So I find the best way to do this is to get a wanted level south of Strawberry and have the law follow you across the border. They might shoot you a few times while you break the horse, but if you take a health tonic in advance the damage should be minimal - where as a group of Pinkertons would probably finish you off before you can complete the challenge. Very nice guide! I have been looking to find the hungarian half bred (I already did 2 years ago in a previous gameplay), but can't find it in the open parts of the map. I tried your advice of being followed by a policeman to blackwater, but the damn hungarian wont spawn... I did it for 6 hours already, will continue tomorrow
@@soyunruso thanks. Sorry to hear is being a pain and not spawning. There is a random element so sometimes you’ll get unlucky and there won’t be one. But you can observe safely from the other side with binoculars to confirm they are common there. If you don’t get one, reload a previous save as it should mean you get some different spawns.
@@Jimbatron I guess I'm being pretty unlucky: every time I load a save, I see only Morgans, Tenesses ans Kentuckys... Will try more after a couple of missions, see if anything changes...
@@soyunruso that does sound lucky, I find them there virtually every time on PC and Xbox. It is likely to be mixed in with other horses, so being able to spot it is important (unfortunately with a wanted level the binoculars seem to stop displaying information about the animal). Also this shows the more precise location, which is difficult to visualise with the law chasing you and the horse running away - but don't watch beyond 0:18 in this (first bit just shows the map) if you don't know how chapter 6 ends: ruclips.net/video/bK__plefZ_0/видео.html
@@soyunruso Replay the "Who Is Not Without Sin" mission, take Reverand on your horse to Blackwater and then you can tame one without issue. Took me 3 tries to find the Hungarian Half Breed, about an hour.
Best advice I can give it..dont go to this locations expecting to find the same horse he finds..you might find a different one..and if you dont find something you want..save the game..close it and open it again..and a new pair of horses will spawn..and do this few times on each location

I've found every breed except for the mustang in the valley between Watson cabin and the black bone forest, all in about a half hour, just by running up and down with my horse from one side to the other. Once you get to know the spawns you can just run away and run back and there's a good chance there'll be a different breed in one of the spawns.

If you don't see a Nokota spawn anywhere. Just sleep for the next morning at Lone Mule Osten. There's should be a couple of horse along with the Nokota spawning near the river
Easiest way to do this as Arthur is to get a bounty in the great plains. Then kill all pinkertons if they pursue and set up a campsite. It'll keep you in the great plains. Sleep for the longest time possible and when you wake up bounty hunters will be looking for you in the area. Kill all except one of the bounty hunters and get him to follow you around as you look for the horse. No pinkertons spawn while bounty hunters are in the area and they are way easier to deal with than the police. If the damn Halfbred just wont spawn (took me like 10 tries) lose or kill the bounty hunter and set up camp again repeating the process. Eventually the horse will be yours! Works on 1.00

I found the Hungarian Half-bred at the Little Creek River in chapter 5. I had already had the other horses tamed except American Paint and Hungarian Half-bred, and the Hungarian spawned right after I tamed the American paint in the same location.
i used reverand svenson mission to get blackwater area it was so much simplier istow svenson to your horse go to great plains find one tame one go back to horseo overlook complete the mission challenge is done final and the most important step take your legend of the east outfit and play poker at saint denis
That’ll work, but it’ll be slower.
This method is better IMO. It took me like 5 mins to get one I tried for a while with the bring the law across the border method

Legend of the East Outfit for Arthur accomplished!! In the video the Nokota is already on the run. A good spawn for Nokota is the shoreline of Flatiron Lake South East of Lone Mules Stead. I found 2 there. I spooked the first one by riding straight at it and it swam into the lake never to be seen again. After a few game reloads I found a second there, and had learned to approach it riding along the shore line.
I found a few mustangs south of emerald ranch if your having trouble in the heartlands

I can't believe how lucky I was, I went to the Heartlands to look for some basic breeds and found a Hungarian Halfbred on my first try.
Yeah with random spawns you’ve got to be opportunistic and take the luck when you get it.
I did this same thing just now the first one I got was the Hungarian halfbreed and the Kentucky saddler afterwards I tried using herbivore bait to hopefully bait horses in and a perfect moose spawned

Yes you can get it in non restricted areas - but it is rare, can easily take 2 hours plus trying to find one in New Hanover unless you get lucky.
agreed best way is actually the super risky crazy way new austin pretty much gurantees a hungarian do not try finding it in the east.
DUDE! I couldn't find the Hungarian near the tracks by Emerald Ranch, tried to redo the mission when you save Reverend Swanson from getting ran over by the train but messed it up (long story.) I ended up doing the Chelonian mission where you bring Jamie to Mary at the Valentine station, and took him with my on horseback all the way to West of Blackwater. Found the Hungarian and as I was breaking it in, Jamie hops on what I thought was my horse (Silver Dapple Pinto Missouri Foxtrotter) and it somehow got duplicated!! All that frustration really paid off, I have my broken in level 4 Foxtrotter and now have an identical level 1 sitting in the stables if anything ever happens. I couldn't believe my eyes, the Silver Dapple Pinto is my favorite horse in the game by FAR!
Damn I feel so lucky. I pulled up the the little creek river area for the first horse on the list in this video and there were 2 Hungarian halfbreds just chilling there.
Gotta take your luck when the game rarely gives you a kind spawn.
After hours I found it kinda near creek river but IN Valley View on the 11th line off the trail. ( the spawns for the horses themselves didn’t seem random) Version 1.1.9

Damn. I sell my horses at bond level 4... I found a Hungarian Halfbred in the Heartlands near thr Oil Fields. Didnt know it was rare since it was my second horse and I sold it.
If it makes you feel any better you have to break a wild one after the challenge activates - so owning one you got previously wouldn’t have helped.

You sir, are a genius! I got all but the Hungarian Half bred in about 30 minutes and spent the next 5 hours trying to find the Hungarian. No luck.
I checked out every video, every reddit post, nada. This is my third playthrough and I didn't have any trouble with this before. All I needed was the HHB and I'd have 10 health in Ch.3.
I saw your workaround and honestly thought it would have probably either been patched out or simply a huge pain in the rear to pull off.
Went to the Strawberry stables, shot the barn, got a vandalism charge and went across into New Austin leading a single lawman with me.
It took me a minute to find the HHB, in fact I had to lasso 3 horses to get the HHB since I couldn't use eagle eye or my binoculars.
Once I got him it took about 10 seconds to break him and since only 1 lawman was shooting me I only had to pop a few tonics.
Ended up riding out of Blackwater with a 5 dollar bounty and a complete Horseman 10.
It was very easy and there were no health shredding gangs of Blackwater lawmen to make it difficult. Just a single Strawberry lawman plinking away at me with his revolver.
I think as long as I kept that lawman near enough so he couldn't pursue me and I didn't let the "Wanted" status expire i could have probably gone and picked the herbs i needed as well. I'll have to try it sometime.

Spent the whole day trying to get the standardbred. Gave up and went hunting with Charles and found a Hungarian halfbred! He was already my favourite character besides Arthur before this but now hes just my god.

Got the law on my tail, crossed the river... bam no Pinkertons and the subject of my ire grazing gently in the field! It even ran towards the river! apparently the Hungarian halfbread is rare, found it by accident in big valley
In The Heartlands, you can find the hungarian halfbred, tennessee walker and kentucky saddler if you are lucky
I actually found one on the dakota river aswell for anyone still looking
The Hungarian halfbred was honestly the easiest for me, I got it in big valley in northern west Elizabeth.
There's hungarian halfbreeds in little creek river.. Funny thing is, I got the hungarian near Beecher's hope.. Then i went to the little creek to search for other horses, then there are 5 hungarian halfbreeds there and it keeps spawning.
You can get them in the unrestricted areas of the map, it’s just in my experience they are very rare and you’re lucky if it happens. My advice is to get all the other horses first as shown and if you’re lucky the Hungarian Halfbred will show up in one of these spots. If one hasn’t shown by then I’d always recommend going to Beechers hope as they are very common there - otherwise it’s very possible to spend 3-4hours searching elsewhere and have no luck.
@@Jimbatron I know the issue.. This game stops spawning horse breeds everywhere ONCE you enter horseman 10.. After you get the specific horses they will spawn everywhere again.. That being said I just got mine as Arthur near the edge of great plains in a specific set of trees (by scouting the area from the other side + reloading the game to spawn them). I didn't do the glitch and just rushed through it, lassoed it short range to quickly mount/break it.. Luckily I escaped great plains without getting detected by Pinkertons (through luck). They spawned right when I was about to exit the main road in that same direction, but I was able to find a different route.. Did this before doing the rescuing Sean mission which is marked near Blackwater.

Unfortunately there is a random element to it. So you just have to go around revisiting locations. Sleep to advance time or fast travel using the train to revisit locations and generate new spawns. For the American Paint try by Little Creek River or South of Wapiti, for the Nakota, try east of Fort Riggs or South of Wapiti. Sleep to advance to the time of day shown in the video.

This will be the forth day and 1000th attempt of trying to find the American Paint. I have Search several area and no luck, I will also mention that i have found 12 Halfbreds in my search so wish me luck.

There isn't any horse that specially spawns in new Austin. So all of em can be broken by Arthur before epilogue !!!
ive found everything except the Paint, at this point im convinced the game locks you from being able to get Horseman 10 with Arthur, ive look west of the mysterious hill home, ive look near the creek north of strawberry and ive even looked close to the trapper above the "V" in Hanover, where apparently there is meant to be a guaranteed heard of Paint, im close to giving up, the game hasnt spawned a Paint on my map for a week now
Did you ever find one the last one I need is a paint and none of the spawns have had one yet
@Dar brother, if you remember the mission you did when Javier took you to rob a house north of Valentine, the one where the people in the house spoke funny, that house has a paint hitched up right outside, otherwise if you dint find it there look for a youtube video that shows you how to glitch out of the map, you'll know it's the right video if it tell you to go into a cave somewhere north if Strawberry. In that cave you gonna have to drink a bunch of moonshine to get drunk. Find that video, glitch out if the map and start looking for horses, the first few you fins should be American paints, hope this helps
Is the America Paint only available after completing a certain part of the game? I'm doing a red run and am only in chapter 2 but trying to get as many challenges completed as I can before I progress and Arthur gets sick (was so fed up of his energy drain and time wasting dizzy spells lol)

Afaik they are all available from CH2, but it’s quite likely at least one will be a pain to get to spawn, and there’s an element of luck. Consider doing some other tasks and coming back again later.

The Mustang 🐎 is the only one I can never find
Don't shoot the stablemaster in the leg or else he can't run and get help, or at least it's gonna take a long time. If you shoot his barn he'll run and get cops for vandalism. That seems to work much better for me. Just a tip. Do whatever works for you though!
The American standardbred doesn’t spawn in that area.
Clearly it can do because the video shows it. Obviously which horses you encounter might vary slightly due to the random element in spawns. So you might find two horses in swapped positions shown the video. These spawn points should allow you to find all horses however.
@@Jimbatronif it can then the spawn rate is very low. Because I’ve not seen that horse in that area even after 9-10 times of trying. Then I’ve collected it from little creek river.
@@subat682 little creek river is on the general list of locations to be fair. But it’s not my experience that it’s particularly rare. Sometimes things just don’t show up and you get a bad run of random results. As long as you do a round trip of all the locations shown you should be able to get every horse.
the anti-pinkerton spawning thing works brilliantly but i spent 20 minutes in the great plains and couldnt see a single horse the entire time. Is that just unlucky or has it been patched

@@Jimbatron I must admit I'm having the same problem. I've been all over the great plains and have found no horses on either occasion. Bison is all. After a while the pinkertons spawn as well. Any other locations where a Hungarian can be found?
@@michaeltattersall6766 occasionally to the east or north of emerald ranch but it’s rare. Or try the far south west corner of big valley past lake Owanjila. I’ve seen them there but very rarely compared to Beechers Hope where it’s about 50/50 whether one spawns for me.

Every time i go for the Hungarian Halfbred absolutely zero horses of any kind spawn then the lawman i lead along despawns and im surrounded on all sides by Pinkertons
On the flip side of my luck i managed to get the Few Spot Appaloosa on my first sighting so
I literally got 7 of these horses around pronghorn ranch lol

It could be used to help get past the Pinkertons but I don’t believe it will cancel the invisible sniper once you cross into NA.

Easiest way to get the Hungarian Halfbred in my opinion is to replay the mission "Without Sin". Once you have Swanson on the back of your horse just go to the area in the video (you won't get law on you), if it isn't a halfbred cancel the mission and try again. Took me a handful of tries before I got one.
That’s a good alternative way to do it. It’s certainly safer, the only thing I would say is that it’s probably not as quick because it’s quite a slow mission.

I personally only interneted each horse’s general location and prayed they were there. If not, I reloaded and prayed to the gaming gods even more. I didn’t go once to Blackwater and New Austin.
This must be patched tryed it a few times no horses spawn until I scouted from fort riggs side of the river looking across to blackwater
What if I broke down the Heartlands Mustang before this challenge?

This was one of the easiest challenges. I did it in chapter 2.
Will the Mustang spawn in the Heartlands while still in Chapter 2? This is the first post I have seen that shows the Mustang outside of New Austin.
This was done in Chapter 4 I’m not sure about Chapter 2 but I would expect so as animal spawns broadly don’t seem to change that much. It seems particularly critical to turn up at mid day in sunshine to get the mustang to spawn but there is still a randomisation to it. So I wouldn’t keep trying to get the mustang here all day long, it’s better to rotate across these locations getting all the horses. If the one you want doesn’t turn up the first time you’ll probably be able to cross another off your list. If you’re in Chapter 2 it is obviously hugely helpful to have upgraded Arthur’s tent to unlock fast travel to quickly alternate between these locations and break all the horses.
They also spawn on the right hand side of The Heartlands. Below and above the cliff.

Rockstar are sons of bitches. When it's time to look for specific animals, those specific animals are "magically" very hard to find. The game is programmed like that to expend durability. So don't trigger your hunt lists before getting all the animals in advance. For horses, you don't have the choice sadly. It took me a full week to get the last one, the American Paint... I went everywhere and NOTHING, sleep, save, reload, no matter what... Total BS.

It sounds like you lost the Strawberry Law and that caused the Pinkertons to spawn

If that’s the case, the trick is to ride slow enough so they keep up with you. Even if it means they hit you a few times - but if you have tonics with you to swig you’ll be fine. But if you outrun them and they disappear the Pinkertons spawn who are far more deadly

Rotate between the four locations above: The Heartlands, east of Horseshoe Overlook, Grizzlies East, South of Wapiti Indian Reservation, Big Valley, by Little Creek River and Big Valley, South of Riggs Station, to get most of the horses, setting up camp or using the train to fast travel, and you should get most of the horses you need. Various types can spawn in these locations, but the Appaloosa and Nokota are generally more rare and only tend to appear where shown. Other possible locations to check are due north and south of Emerald Ranch. Whilst you can find the Hungarian Halfbred, in the unrestricted parts of the map, it's very rare. I wouldn't recommend trying, you could spend hours hunting and not get one. They are however incredibly common near to Beecher's Hope on the Great Plains, but that area is still being patrolled by Pinkertons. However, the Pinkertsons won't spawn if you have law pursuing you from Big Valley. So I find the best way to do this is to get a wanted level south of Strawberry and have the law follow you across the border. They might shoot you a few times while you break the horse, but if you take a health tonic in advance the damage should be minimal - where as a group of Pinkertons would probably finish you off before you can complete the challenge.

Very nice guide! I have been looking to find the hungarian half bred (I already did 2 years ago in a previous gameplay), but can't find it in the open parts of the map. I tried your advice of being followed by a policeman to blackwater, but the damn hungarian wont spawn... I did it for 6 hours already, will continue tomorrow
@@soyunruso thanks. Sorry to hear is being a pain and not spawning. There is a random element so sometimes you’ll get unlucky and there won’t be one. But you can observe safely from the other side with binoculars to confirm they are common there. If you don’t get one, reload a previous save as it should mean you get some different spawns.

@@soyunruso that does sound lucky, I find them there virtually every time on PC and Xbox. It is likely to be mixed in with other horses, so being able to spot it is important (unfortunately with a wanted level the binoculars seem to stop displaying information about the animal). Also this shows the more precise location, which is difficult to visualise with the law chasing you and the horse running away - but don't watch beyond 0:18 in this (first bit just shows the map) if you don't know how chapter 6 ends: ruclips.net/video/bK__plefZ_0/видео.html
@@soyunruso Replay the "Who Is Not Without Sin" mission, take Reverand on your horse to Blackwater and then you can tame one without issue. Took me 3 tries to find the Hungarian Half Breed, about an hour.
Best advice I can give it..dont go to this locations expecting to find the same horse he finds..you might find a different one..and if you dont find something you want..save the game..close it and open it again..and a new pair of horses will spawn..and do this few times on each location
