It’s pretty good. It has a lot of potential and if they had a solo mode it would probably be better than normal battle Royale.
There's a small chance of getting mythics and exotics in the game
this mode is amazing! probably will stick to br when i’m alone but if i’ve got friends online i’m 100% playing this with them instead. so fresh and fun

I'm enjoying the mode but do hope they'll rotate between islands inspired by different chapters in the future. The OG art style is fun and I do wish they'll bring it back in a modernised form for future BR chapters (chapter 3 actually nailed this), but I've seen these POIs so many times before... I'm ready for something new. Justice for C2 and C3!

What Egel wants is for Fortnite to treat Reload in a similar way to Resurgence from Warzone by adding more maps and having them in rotation.
And imo one with Chapter 4's aesthetic would go so hard.
I think they should just rotate every season of chapter 1 in a year.

Nobody is talking about how sweaty it is. It's just full of aggressive default skins
I guess it's an appeal, on my end, I feel like it's a good thing when I get my stuff wrecked because then, the VR is a bigger goal to strive for, rather than in BR where I'm generally fighting only bots or lower skilled player for half the match before finally squaring up against the strongest in the end.
In reload, I'm always fighting strong guys, it keeps me on my toes and gets the adrenaline going, I like it !
Of course, not everyone is like me, some won't enjoy this type of gameplay, and it's fine, after all it's not as if there weren't other gamemodes.
I’ve personally had a blast with it.
See I’ve enjoyed this season, and every other season ( besides primal… ewe) lol
But, what this mode has is high action fast paced, GUN play. No bots, no getting hit by a random OP ability that you can’t stop. Just raw gameplay.
A lot of players have forgotten how that works because players have gotten used to having spider web slingers or Nimbus to run away from the fight across the map when it gets tough.
Now you have to face ACTUAL people constantly in this new mode.
When I’m feeling sweaty, I can play Reload. When I’m ready to have fun and troll have a slow fun game, I’ll play Battle Royale.
One thing we have now… is a choice… and more choices means better gameplay.

@@gaspersnakes Lmao prime wasn’t terrible but it was ewe. Mythic boots you had to jump 3 times to activate. The primal mythic shot gun was eating everything alive😂😂 the best thing about that season was the bows.
Best season for me was the Hunting Season when My boy J turned on IO chapter 2 season 5.
Battle pass was iight but the gameplay was fun for me that season.

This mod has a lot of potential, but epic needs to also give it updates like loot pool changes and map changes, like more remixed pois, other wise this mode could easily die. And maybe take the mode in a different direction

@FattestGarfield This mode has chapter 2 and 3 guns. It already has new guns... which sucks. I hope they remove all chapter 2 and 3 guns as I hate using them.

Personally idk, the weapons feel WAY worse after being able to hit things with new ones
the mode gives me mini br vibes its so freakin cool! i think if this mode was being made in December 2023 it wouldve been on the roadmap. i feel like this was made like in april/may to combat the hate of the roadmap and suprise da players. but thats just a theory🤓

I think this game mode could be perfect for something Fortnite’s never done, a rotating map. Get a bunch of small maps themed around the different chapters but keep the loot pool the same throughout, it could be really cool.

This new mode is literally fantastic.
It’s a great game mode for just Fortnite gameplay.
It’s a great way to create a sweaty location and make it fun and high pace.
Want some Casual gameplay and fun, Battle Royale is the way to go.
You can choose what style you want to play and that’s what makes this mode great!

The real biggest issues is just how damn sweaty this mode is. Like, holy shit it NEEDS a competitive setting so we can split up the playerbase a little bit.

Ok so I'm a Zero Build player, and really I say the 2 things that really bring down the mode for me is the map layout and the only way to really have fun is when you have a full pre made squad, because for ZB, the map is just way to open to actually be a really good map for this type of mode and I think a redesign would be an amazing way to make this mode amazing, and really because it's squads there vchances to get good teammates and bad ones and the only times I have fun with the mode is when I have a full squad already made, which saying as how I mostly play solos because people aren't on all the time, it really shows how this mode really needs the other 3 modes
Only thing I can complain about is that I have only gotten put up against players that is waaaaaay better than me and just end up being dunked on again and again, they should have a better matchmaking system there imo
I wish there was more to the map it’s literally just the middle of the map with a few side maps I wish they had the moisty or Desert locations or the snow biome but otherwise I love it apart from the sweats
imagine a ranked mode in this, I really hope they make it solos, duos etc... and they expand on this, maybe lams as well like this mode with only consumables or the floor is lava, that would be INSANE, I dont even see any reason to play normal br, the og graphics style just looks and feels so much better, the pump is amazing, its iconic

I’m honestly loving it. The lobbies are very sweaty and fast paced, but if you play it smart it’s easy to make it to end game.
I think this has lore due to the bunker near Tilted, too!
At 8:50 he shows a mech but he might be on to something as the mechs were recently re-added to the file. (Oh god)
This mode like you were saying wasn't made in a month but for a while now, that's why leakers confused the "reload" part months ago for a persona 3 reload collab, but it was this game mode instead
Fortnite Reload is the greatest thing all year for one main reason, NO. BULLET. DROP.
I think they should add solos duos and trios soon and make different seasons too
They should combine Builds and Zero Builds and make it a toggle like ranked is.
Also add Ranked to Reload
I like how when you go into build mode it's a sweat-fest (even tho I'm kinda a sweat myself lol) but when you go in zero build there aren't too many sweats and it's pretty chill
I always preferred resurgence over br in cod so when i try it after my vacation then it’ll probably be my new main mode
I hope they add solo but of course without any respawn or reboot.
But i really like that they decided to use the chapter 1 style because it's kinda rare nowadays for epic to reuse old assets in fortnite
Zero build mode is so much fun. I feel like I'm on war. It's great
I really hope they continue to update reload. Maybe they could change up the loop pool sometimes and add some more OG locations or alternatively they could add more reload maps maybe based on different old Fortnite chapters and then put them in a rotation like Warzone does.
Its fun but its kinda annoying when you kill someone and they're teammate spawns on you
I think the mode is so good, but unfortunately I can't do anything with it as a solo player. It would definitely need a solo mode where you have up to 3 respawns.
Or something like Resurgence where if you're in the solo mode, you could respawn infinitely, but you can't respawn again for 30 seconds after your last respawn. And if you die in that 30 second timer, you're done for.
The limited respawns thing was already done in the Comeback LTM.
Tbh, this is a pretty great mode! But the one thing I want from this mode, is the remastered Chapter 1 Terrain Material. They added a lot more to it.
I love this mode, but it is sweatier than hell's gymnasium.
As soon as I get reminded that minecraft legacy edition exists again everyone starts using the legacy minigames music
My only issue with the mode is that it's way to sweaty in my opinion they should add a ranked mode to separate the sweats from the casuals
Reload is absolutely amazing, it's actually fun (but sweaty)! The map is great and the loot pool is quite diverse!
Also some corrections: The loot pool spans over 5 chapters, not 3. (Crash Pad Jrs are from C4S4 alongside the Heisted Exotics which are from C4S1, Shield Bubble Jrs are from C5S2)
And speaking of, Shield Bubble Jrs ARE in the mode so you got one of your wishes already granted. Clingers or Cluster Clingers would be cool though.
Reloaded is honestly more fun as while the vehicular combat and projectile bullets is....unique, just having the ability to use hitscan and the only op mobility tool being shockwaves(only able to carry 3-4 and it would be balanced), and especially happy that sources have found coding for Duos and Trios games, however the major issue I have is ratting is seriously encourage to allow players to revive their friends from death. Which isn't as bad if it was 30-40 seconds period, but with ways to quicken the respawn timer, it should be 45-60 seconds in Squads(30-45 for Trios, and 20-30 seconds in Duos).
Reload was NOT in development since December. In fact, it was only developed in the last month.
i hope they're going to add more early chapter 2 POI meshups or POIs in the Mode later on. Not like stinky Party Royale rotting for four years
Awesome video! I agree with most of the pros of Reload, but as someone who has played it, the only flaw of the whole mode is the player base. People try way to hard and it becomes nearly impossible to win just one match because everyone is building the Eiffel Tower for the wind just blowing in the wrong direction. It needs balancing work, and it a whole lot of fun been though I can’t beat these crazy sweaty players.😂
Wanted to add something about the lootpool: The items in the mode span over all 4 chapters as crash pad jrs and heist exotics are also in the new Reload mode. So I can see this mode getting mayne some small updates to have the map get locations from east chapter whether as thier original form or being combine with another POI.
Chapter 5 too, since Shield Bubble Jrs. are in the mode!

The adds made no sense but I really like the new game mode, it’s just like resegence in war zone but me personally I don’t really like war zone I’m a black ops 3 type of guy, as I was saying, Fortnite reload is a cool way to show what epic is able to do with the game and I hope they do something like this in the future with chapter 2 poi’s and maybe chapter 3, I wish I can make a video on this but I’m not a Fortnite channel

Carve a hole in the middle of the map and place the Agency. The yacht could also be easily placed off to the side.

Love this mode I just really wish there were trap items like they fit the OG criteria and zb has those bush bombs and bunkers surely builds can easily have an actually useful trap slot
I think they should make multiple islands that will be randomly selected instead of expanding the island like you suggested at the end
Why Reload launched with only Squads is baffling to me.
Warzone Resurgence had Trios, Duos and even Solos.
It combines the last half decades of Fortnite and proves to me that nothing needed to be reworked in Chapter 5, Instead something like this mode and OG should've influenced current BR. If it isn't broken don't fix it. I just wish they would look, listen and take notes on the feedback to influence current BR. It's what I was hoping for OG to be instead of something to gain a mass amount of players to get them roped into their metaverse ecosystem. I wish there were still passion instead of greed and them having quantity over quality, the layoffs were a huge toll on the game as well.
They said they would bring in the sky grappler,Brutus mini gun, twin mag smog, thunder shotgun and a duos and trios mode
its a decent mode but i wish it was like 100 player and bigger map with normal battle royale
I disagree about the Warzone statement personally, I enjoy it a lot, but I see what you mean by it being trash.
I am open to any new experimentation within this game mode… I hope they will experiment more and continue its development on the go as they get more creative and constructive feedback…
I think if they play this smart they keep this a permenant game mode and start making new maps just as small. Keep it an alternative other then br or creative all the time
I was kinda thinking it would be a mix of like 6 maps and its a solos game so when you die you respawn in another map and in the late game you all would respawn in one map until one wins
its good but it needs trios duos and solos too sweaty as squads
Also, you get a lot of XP if you get a good team and you get a lot of kills
I personally hate this mode for one reason. No option for solos let alone duos or trios I don’t want to hop in a fill lobby with no communication or no fill and just die instantly
after this mode, i remembered that fortnite wasnt for casual players
Im enjoying having some old pois back ( pleasent was my main landing spot in chapter 1 and 2 and then again for a lot of games in season: OG), the lootpool is also great but its annoying that it's squads only bc i don't have a full sqaud of friends that play the game anymore and i can't really play with randoms bc my headset mic doesn't work on my switch so im solo squadding and I do cook but obviously no respawns whilst fighting an entire squad with essentially endless lives is kinda hard.

I like the mode and thinking it’s decent but the problem with it is matchmaking, I was playing a game with my friends who just got the game and we faced some tryhards so quick

IMO it’s a pretty neat addition to the game but I hope it doesn’t stay permanent, having it come out for a few weeks during each season is a good idea

This was a surprise as this wasn't on the roadmap but I do like surprises and I'm glad it was a surprise as it gets us more hyped and Fortnite Reload is thankfully a permanent mode so now when ch2 comes back in November ch1 players will be able to play if they don't wanna play ch2 OG and also this mode will get updates most likely adding more OG weapons and items and more new POI'S and old POI'S ofc keeping the smaller map shape Fortnite Reload has many rewards for you to unlock most are Summer themed and one being the Rezzbrella isn't Summer themed and also the All Sweat Summer event will be out soon which will have challenges to play Zero Build, Build mode, Ranked, and the new Fortnite Reload mode now the challenges that require you to play Ranked and Reload say that you can do them in Ranked or Reload so now there is more variety thankfully with this update because we have build and Zero mode for BR if you want to fight against 99 other people Build has building ofc and Zero Build has no building ofc and Zero Build is more casual and it also is more fun in my opinion, creative and UEFN if you want to create a map or play creative games with your friends or by yourself, Ranked if you wanna play BR but more sweatier and it even has its own seasons with rewards, Lego Fortnite if you want to create something with Legos or if you want to survive in Lego or if you want to make your Lego map using creative and UEFN, Rocket Racing if you want to race against your friends or other people or both or if you want to create your own maps using UEFN, Fortnite Festival if you want to create a concert with your friends, and now Fortnite Reload both Build and Zero Build if you want to play ch1 again or just want to play something that has no reeboot vans or if you want to play something like Call of Duty Resurgence Fortnite updates all these modes and they will update Fortnite Reload Ranked's updates are I guess the same as regular BR and it gets updated only with season launches I think and there will be more new modes soon with the next chapters and I think there will even be a Fall Guys mode that will get added for the Fall Guys collab that may also be permanent meaning it would be an extra mode for Fortnite to update and STW is a mode but it really does not get updates anymore I think but you can play it if you want to save a world from zombies and the Storm King

It's not fun for me, every single player is a sweat, even in zero build; here people do not play for fun at all, and so i cannot have fun either, it's a terrible game mode for me, becouse i usually like playing casually and not like a robot programmed to win, i don't really even care about winning anyways; plus you get quite smaller amounts of XP from this compared to regular BR; i will stay away from this mode pernamently.
Haven’t had any friends to hop on yet so idk 😢 also do 100 drops reloaded

i like the game mode but if they want to make it better they need to study rebirth island from cod that map perfected small map being a funner experience
also they need to make storm do more damage because the amount of people ive seen staying in storm when there down to one person left is boring to deal with
