Aperently Geerzy decided to copyright those who use the word "pit", thinking he owns the word "pit"
To the point he got roasted by sypher PK himself on twitter.

Honestly a good factor is size. The size allows so much to happen. I have had many good memories building massive bases and starting wars in the Pit with my friends

I remember start of season 7 when creative first released. Making a giant ring in the sky with loot on it, and just playing this exact thing. But without all the flashy lights, like you could build and shoot on the ring, but we would have a truce. Was made out of the same like building pieces as well. The idea was super basic but fun. I miss that.
lets not forget he's stinking rich and gets every other Pit map taken down with a copyright strike. I'd be interested to know exactly what copyright he owns. I wonder who owns the Minecraft Pit 'copyright'

all bro needs to add is a barrier on the wall half the lobbies get scared to fight, or just use shockwaves to take a grand tour of the map

To be honest this is more fun that battle royal because u can fool around with lots of different weapons which arent in battle royal

The pit is crazy… i always have like 0 delay it feels like when playing it idk howwww but any other creative map doesnt even compare… goated fr it feels so smooth even with all the spawns and guns and players it runs well…
Idk if you will see this but I loved the Pit first started playing it in 2021 I think? When season 7 of chapter 2 launched I really enjoyed it I did jot build in it at all and did well had fun found loopholes in the map was able to get the Legendary rpg before it was officially added to it years went by and I moved to its zero build version I like that one do don't play it as often but it's fun one of the better maps for sure.

i miss 1v1 with any gun
i even made a recreation of that map with every gun and adding on things in season X/early chapter 2
but epic pushed out a update some time in chapter 2-3 which ruined the item spawners
I PLAYED THE VAULT ON DECEMBER 22 2018 I REMEMBER THAT OMFG WHAT A COINCIDENCE THAT THISS IS THE GUY THAT MADE IT woooaaaaaaahhhh

Box PVP is slowly beating it in playercount. Might not be as fast due to the many clones it has cuz of how easy it is to just copy and paste a superpower Box PVP map with the only change being the theming

Idek why the pit is the most played ffa map? In my opinion thatt ffa sucks, I suggest playing "freefall (ranked)" instead. Its the best ffa map out there, trust me.

The pit and red vs blue are for noobs
The pit is fun for about 5 minutes and is technically good for shooting practicrle but it's just boring.
I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this but...
The Pit is way too overrated.
Its just the perfect map , if you want to free build , box fight , long range practice , fast close fights , talk to people
I think for a player base of mainly short of attention span, dumb tweens it's perfect
