I’m honestly someone who is very much interested in Fortnite’s days before it went into Early Access in July 2017.
I don’t even know how versions 1.2, 1.?, OT 6.5 and partially OT 10.1 were found, but I’m glad they were.
And I’d wait for any other builds to be eventually found too! Especially a FortressGame build. (An Early OT build would be nice too)
If stw was finished, I feel like that snow area could of been the fifth zone (maybe something called Snowy Suburbs???) and possibly that limbo area could of been the last zone where the storm king could of been instead of canny valley
I'll always find it baffling how they've continued to ignore what is a mostly-fleshed-out game in Save the World in favor of:
- Scrapping Donald Mustard's amazing story for Battle Royale
- Splitting up the dev team for live events in order to build three new "core gamemodes" from the ground up
- Developing said modes (again, from the ground up) to lazily slap alongside BR.
The most ironic part is that 2 out of the 3 modes (Rocket Racing and Festival) completely flopped, and aren't even beating out Save the World in players currently. And if we're being completely honest, the Lego mode flopped too. The Star Wars update is the only reason the mode is relevant right now. I personally enjoy the Lego mode, but it gets very stale very quickly.
It's obvious that they made the modes solely for the collab and money-making potential, which is something that they can't achieve to the same degree with Save the World, but the fact that they aren't even attempting to throw Save the World a bone and finally give it SOMETHING meaningful is just sad.
According to those roadmap leaks, they’re actually going to remove StW in 2026, and give owners of the mode a couple skins and that’s it. Chapter 6 looks terrible for Fortnite.
the 3 new modes should've just been official UEFN modes and not promoted like they're alongside BR

Save The World is such an underrated mode, its kind of like a fortnite helldivers. Where you drop in and complete the same missions over and over again for different rewards but with the storyline its ok. But then again this was very long ago so I'll cut them some slack. I love the diversity in biomes with venture going from a Snowy biome (Frosty Fjords) to a Dry, Desert biome. And the amount of weapons is so sick and how you give them perks is just incredible. You could literally make a rlly bad weapon like the vigilante maybe okay. The different heroes, having their perks and abilities is sick. Fortnite STW is just a very unique game

Make a chapter 4 themed zone wars map
In an alternate universe, Fortnite will be a niche survival game that's probably dead by now
save the world does still get content support, more often than other marjorly popular games like CoD, the only reason people say that it receives no support is because of how often battle royale gets updated, they spoiled everyone with the weekly updates.
I loved Fortnite’s original game and it’s sad to see Fortnite and epic forgot where they come from

Is there Fortnite battle royals alpha?
BR was developed in all of 2 months so we dont have any info on BR’s alpha stages. We roughly know some different things about the map due to the default playlist image but other than that the earliest BR build we have is 1.7.2 which is before season 1 but after public release.
br map was originally going to be a sort of weird open world for save the world, but then decided to turn it into br instead
