Suburban Pilgrim Great video! One can make a difference! I am reminded of a story of Mother Teresa on the streets of Calcutta caring for the hungry masses. Someone came up to her and said, why are you wasting your time-for you can not possibly make a difference in the tens of thousands that line the streets of Calcutta! She stooped down and picked up a child and shewing the flies away began to feed the child and said I can make a difference in this one!

Your commentary nearly always lacks confidence. “I don’t know?” “I don’t know what I’m talking about.” “Maybe it’s just me.” “I have know idea.”
People, others and myself in general come for information but if you claim to not know what you’re talking about, then why would anyone listen. I find your videos well edited and the topics are there. I like hearing about your growth, I like watching your growth as well as pipe vids.
But as you morph into an influencer, I’d encourage you to find improved and well thought out ways to sound confident without sounding like a bulldozer. If you’re breathing, you are still learning. That goes without saying so stop rabbit trailing into “I don’t know, I’m an idiot” because you’re not.

All this stems from people not genuinely persuing God thru his word. The lack of reverence for his word. And fathers not stepping up to the role as leader of the household. Being present in the household and not just being passive actually parenting and guiding your kids, instilling morals. Being a comprehensive man as Jason Wilson would put it. The church these days is also being influenced by the world. When the world should be influenced by the church.
What is the moral standard and who has the authority to determine it and why a moral authority in the first place? I would say morality because it needs to be the basis of all interactions between people whether in business or family or national diplomacy. The Creator God claims that moral authority. What God? The God that created 100 billion galaxies that no one can explain the origin of short of a creator. The God that made life from dead matter that no science has been able to duplicate. The God that created the human race so far above every other life form that this discussion is even possible. The same God that inspired a guide book written by 40 authors over a 1500 year time span yet is very cohesive In that book is the moral standard that the human race refuses to follow and the result is plain to see. "Do to others as you would have them do to you" puts it most simply.
@@danielturner9832 my moral principles/ standard comes from the God who created the universe. And then came from heaven to show us how to model them thru Yeshuah/Jesus.

'The World' to which you kept refering is, in fact, your country. The actual world has pretty much remained in stasis - internet, electronics and that pesky illness thing notwithstanding.
Don't get me wrong, I just stumbled upon your channel and enjoy the content - heck, I even agree with you. BUT, and it's a big but - your country Is NOT the world. Sure, it has broad influence in even the most remote corners and, like ill fitting clothes, we know you're there. Canadian rant over. Thanks for creating an interesting thought provoking channel. Love your videos. I do disagree with you. This is a subject I have much time thinking and discussing. I would argue that the present and future is always better than the past. Sometimes when there is a big change in society we assume the past is better. People of color and women have more freedoms and equalities than in 1920. The world has more free countries than in the past. We can share and learn faster than we have ever been able to in history.
